I think the St. Louis route may be our best course. We already have some history there with a SuperClash partially running from the city. We've got the backstory of the St. Louis Wrestling Office to play with and then alter with another territory running in Kansas. It would seem to be a logical expansion point since it would grow the existing territory without any major jumps.

I'd like to throw in some names and characters to this, just to weave the shared history from my characters into this.

If you ever do have a Puerto Rico territory mentioned, that's probably where Monosso would have been before and after his major-fed runs in the 90s and early 00s. Since he's vaguely a Brody archtype.

I'll try to do some more work on MSW and I think it would make perfect sense for some of the MSW wrestlers to have runs in St. Louis/KC during their times away from Memphis.
"Destruction of Hell" start playing as Mason drop the mic and exit the
ring as fans throw stuffs at him but he punch out most of the fans even
children.

Let's post the St. Louis history link just as a reminder to everyone where we stand there...

You're welcome to write a history for a Puerto Rico-based territory if you'd like. Just didn't seem ideal for what we're looking to accomplish here.

Only if I'm allowed to borrow Edwin Lopez.

Feel free to use Terry Shane III breaking into the business there, possibly meeting Sandra Hayes as his father came from the St. Louis territory.

The Southwest - a territory that runs Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and/or New Mexico
Something that runs Kansas and Missouri
Something in the Illinois, Indiana, or Ohio area
Something that runs Kentucky and/or the Virginias

Rename the Southwest to the Rocky Mountain. That's essentially what that is with Colorado, Nex Mexico, and Utah. Nevada fits in there a bit. That's the second option. First option is to regroup those states. That territory run makes no sense for travel purposes.

That said, I'm for the Midwest. It makes the most sense to me. Instead of just Kansas and Missouri, I'd add in Nebraska and Iowa. You can easily have a city tour of Omaha to Kansas City, Kansas City to St. Louis, St. Louis to Des Moines, and then Des Moines to Omaha.

Let's start with MO and KS just to make it easy. We've got the St. Louis office to serve for part of it. What else can we use? Anyone have ideas for other territories in the area or other characters to play a role in it?

Murphy and I have some written our territories for a mock council that that started up in the 60's. One of the territories he created was Gateway Wrestling, Inc. out of St. Louis Missouri. You should tap into that.

I'll toss out a few homage ideas:

- Your Minnesota Wrecking Crew style tag team (Gene and Ole Anderson). Two veteran wrestlers who are past their prime at this point. They've been with this territory for almost all of their tenure. While past their prime, their simple approach to offense and methodical approach to targeting a body part still makes them successful.

- JYD homage. He's the one fans rally around because of his charisma. He's never won the top title, but he's always in the chase for it.

- An alliance of rookies, one singles guy and a tag team. They're loved by the fans for their unique brand of offense. They've taken the territory by storm over the past year and work closely with the JYD homage.

- A Nick Bockwinkle style heel. He's the top champion in the territory. He's older and has lost a lot of his offensive ability. He's a smart and wily competitor. His smarts and cheap tactics have helped him hold onto the title.

I have one of those in MSW that can be used up there if you want him.

Homages I'd like to see...

Harley Race & Larry Hennig: Race is the chauffeur/sidekick character to a bigger/older star, starts getting trained by some of the other vets in their prime and eventually breaks off into his own. Pair him with another up and comer (aka Larry Hennig homage) for a cocky heel tag team during the territories reign and have them break up at the conclusion of the territory though do it with one of them turning on the other. Now you have a Hennig and Race homage and an instant feud for the two as they come into AWA this way it isn't all old fed vs. new fed.

Cowboy - Whether it's Bill Watts or Bob Orton, I think we could use a tough as nails babyface version of a cowboy. I instantly thought of the name "Cowboy" Wyatt Williams though you could use whatever you want.

Cornette: An in your face, outspoken, loudmouth booker of said territory. Someone that agrees to sell the territory under the condition that they remain in control of a division surrounding one of their titles. This character refuses to merge their title because in doing so they would lose any booking power.

Butch Reed: Black man, blonde hair, slabs of muscle, kicks ass, and has legendary battles with the aforementioned JYD homage in the previous thread. Dog Collar Matches, Steel Cages...these two were the workhorses that sacrificed their bodies so the promoters could make money.

Bushwhackers/Sheerpherders - Brawling, comedic tag team. Bonus points for a battering ram finisher! Tag team name ideas... Commandos, Guerillas, Swashbucklers.

Bill Watts is pretty much the exact image I have of "Big" Jim Watkins.
