1 - Credits and Introduction
---------------------------------------------

[The SWL logo briefly fades in and out…]

[Darkness...]

[…The Speak Your Mind logo crashes into the screen]

[Sat in behind a desk with a large monitor in the background with a spinning version of the SWL log is

Dougie Wright: Hello and welcome to SWL Speak Your Mind where we will be looking ahead to Sunday's first ever episode of Dynamite TV. During the hour you'll hear from six of the eight wrestlers that will be taking part in the Prizefighter Tournament to crown the first ever National Champion, up first is the Madman from Iran…. Madhu Karna.

[Cut to…]

---------------------------------------------
2 - Madhu Karna
---------------------------------------------

[Fade In.]

[Chinese Buffet, there's a few people in the background adding a spring roll or two to their plate.]

Waiter: Remember there's a 25% charge if you leave to much, it's at the Manager's description, please read the small print.

[In the corner, out of the way we see Professor Shripati sipping a water and moving some noodles around his plate with his chopsticks. But it's not his lack of chopstick technique that takes our attention, it's the 300lb asian monster sat next to him]

Prof. Shripati: Now, now, don't worry - there's plenty of food left.

[Madhu Karna sits opposite him. He's a big man. He has a bushy dark beard - his eyes look menacing and aged. On his head is the traditional arab headers a Keffiyeh. He has a knee length shirt on, some cotton trousers and sandals. He'd stand out in Islamabad let alone Charlotte, North Carolina.]

[Karna doesn't event attempt to use chopsticks, the table is his plate, his hands are his tools. He throws chicken wings and ribs into his mouth with his hands that look like shovels. He spits out the odd bone but most of the time he gulps it down. His eyes glare wide as he washes the food down with a glass of water.]

Prof. Shripati: Who doesn't like chinese food hey? A little bit different from what they were feeding him in the Revolutionary Guard in Iran.

[Karna doesn't react, he can't speak English and his Arabic is shaking to say the least. He's a man that communicates with his actions. Words are meaningless to him.]

Prof. Shripati: Getting him into the country wasn't easy, I don't like to give credit out much, but the office at SWL has to take a lot of credit. This man doesn't have a birth certificate, I can only guess what his age is. I can't imagine he even knows his parents or the early years of his existence All I know is how I came across him, how he came to me.

[The same waiter as before tentatively makes his way over to see if he can replace the plate that sits next to Karna. He moves to take it but is growled at, Shripati waves the young man away; it's not worth the bother.]

Prof. Shripati: I weighed him last week, 136kg - I thick that's about 301lbs to an American. I can't explain how he got that big, I don't know if he was overfed as a child or if like most American's say they're just 'big boned'. Eitherway it has been his size that has attracted people to him over the years. When you see someone this size, you are attracted to what they can do for you: financially - I guess.

[Shripati takes another stab at his noodles, it's almost pointless.]

Prof. Shripati: The Iranian Revolutionary Guard thought they could use him, develop him into a new kind of soldier. They were very proud of the work they did, but a soldier must take orders. A soldier must understand the difference between a Corporal, Lieutenant and a Prime Minister. Madhu Karna isn't a soldier, he's not a listener.

[Karna gets up, Shripati watches him carefully as he heads over to the buffet and starts picking at the food with his hands. The waiter raises an eyebrow and looks straight at the Professor who gives him nod, a money nod.]

Prof. Shripati: I'm not willing to go into the work I've done for various governments over the years but when I did some tests on this man, I knew I could make him, I knew that if I could make him listen to me; then we'd have a real chance. A chance of glory and a chance for financial fulfilment.

[The Professor gets up, he walks over to Madhu Karna and places a hand on his shoulder. The Iranian looks at him like a puppy and leaves the food, following Shripati back over to the table.]

Prof. Shripai: Don't judge a man on how he eats his food, how he conducts himself with me as his master. This man didn't travel from the Middle East in Economy or in First Class, he travels with the cargo - he's a Madman, a monster. Alhamdulillah

[Fade Out]

---------------------------------------------
3 - Simon Dexter Henderson
---------------------------------------------

[The camera opens up and we see sat in the middle of the frame 'SDH' Simon Dexter Henderson. He looks chilled out, sunglasses covering his eyes, he has a cigar in his mouth and we can hear the bass of some early 90s LL Cool J in the background. If it wasn't for his middle class upbringing and the color of his skin, we might think that Simon Dexter Henderson is your run of he mill black guy.]

SDH: Speak Your Mind? You want me to speak my mind?

[He draws in the sweet sugary cigar smoke…oh yea that feels good.]

SDH: Huh… To be a champ, damn that would be good.

[A smoke ring]

SDH: Jeff Michaels, Tommy McMaster and Super Bruiser. Some might say this one is wide open, that anything can happen. They've not been in the ring with me. I'm a former star of the Charlotte 49ers, I was devastating through high school with scouts from all over the country coming to watch me and not just in Football, I was a top star on the wrestling mat and in athletics as well.

[He sucks again on the cigar]

SDH: There's no doubt in my mind that I'm the best all-round athlete in the SWL. BAM you know when I've hit you, these three other jabronies will be trying to pin themselves when they see me standing across the ring.

[He takes off his sunglasses]

SDH: If this was a car, an automobile and you wanted it to win the NASCAR, you'd want the best engine, the best driver, the best gear box and the best tyres. Well that's like me, I'm the perfect wrestler: the most powerful, the most athletic and of course the most entertaining. That's me, thats SHD…!

[One more smoke ring and cut to black.]

---------------------------------------------
4 - Shi Tsuyoki
---------------------------------------------

Darkness.

Eyes…WHITE…brown pupils burning into the camera.

Darkness.

Suddenly a beam of light, maybe a window opens or a door creaks open in the foreground.

Face…Japanese, soft features, eyes still piercing the camera.

The darkness grows softer.

Shi Tsuyoki stands before us, his hair cropped short, his shoulders and arms look powerful and strong. He has a plain brown vest on: dirty, old and well worn. The small amount of light bounces of his moist body. He's been working out, training, preparing, focusing on what is to come.

"Indians, or should I say Native Americans - believed that when the world was first created, one great being owned all the buffalo. He kept them in a corral in the mountains north of San Juan, where he lived with his young son. This great power would not release one buffalo to the people of the earth, nor would he share any meat with those who lived near him."

Shi Tsuyoki probably has no idea what this man is saying. This man is Mr Yama, an elderly Japanese man, white beard - he looks like he's come straight form an Animee film.

"Coyote believed that something should be done to release the buffalo from the corral. He called the people to a council and said 'this great power will not give us our buffalo, let us all go over to his corral and make a plan to release them'.

Tsuyoki shoots Mr Yama with a look, he can't understand what he's saying, but he's heard it all before. He walks further into the darkness.

"They camped near the mountains and after dark made a careful inspection of the buffalo enclosure. The stone walls were too high to climb, and the only entrance was through the house. After four days Coyote summoned the people to another council and asked for suggestions. 'There is no way' said one man. But Coyote had a plan, 'For four days we have secretly watched this man and has sing go about their daily activities. Have you not observed that the boy does not have a pet?'.

Tsuyoki starts to stretch on an old mat in the background.

"The people did not understand what this had to do with releasing the buffalo, but they knew that Coyote was a great schemer and they waited for him to explain. 'I shall change myself into a killdeer', he said. 'In the morning when his son goes down to the spring to get water, he will find a killdeer with a broken wing. He will want this bird for a pet and will take it back into the house. When I am there I can fly into the corral, and the cries of a killdeer will fighter the buffalo into a stampede. They will come charging through the house and be released upon the earth'."

Tsuyoki now shadow boxing, throwing lefts, rights and the odd roundhouse kick. He works hard, his body moves quickly, lightly and powerfully.

"The Killdeer did not succeed, the being would not let his son take him as a pet. He changed again as a Dog and this time was allowed back to the house. The man told his son to keep the dog in the corral with the buffalo and not let it in the house. The Coyote's plan had worked. During the night he started barking, frightening the beast and causing them to stampede through the house."

Tsuyoki refreshes himself with a drink of water, he's out of breath but not exhausted. It's probably not possible to get much fighter than this specimen.

"The man was angry and the boy was upset. 'Where is my pet dog?' he asked his father. 'That wasn't a dog, that was a Coyote The Trickster who has turned loose all our buffalo'. The buffalo then scattered all over the earth."

The man gets closer to Tsuyoki, he grabs him, forcing him closer to the camera.

"Shi Tsuyoki is a Buffalo. SWL, I am your Coyote. If you knew what you have just signed up, let loose on America, you would never have let him here. This man will destroy anyone you put in his way and just like the house the buffalo destroyed he will stampede his way to victory - to domination and firstly to the SWL National Championship."

The darkness takes over again, crawling all over the emotionless face of Shi Tsuyoki.

5 - Larry Mulligan
---------------------------------------------

<- The camera opens with Larry Mulligan walking in a park in Hill Valley, North Carolina. He's wearing an old college football jacket, his shoulder length bleached blonde hair blows in the window, although not required he has a pair of black aviator sunglasses on. By his side is a dog, not a small Paris Hilton dog, but a mans dog, it runs around, sporadically giving him a stick to throw off into the distance.->

LM - It's good to see you parents!

<- The dog sniffs around in the distance. ->

LM - I'd like to start off by saying how good I feel about my move to North Carolina. Everyone here has made me feel so welcome, from the office, the fans and it seems like I'm not the only person who is excited about seeing the debut episode of Dynamite Television when it airs.

<- Another throw, the stick disappears out of shot this time, a small growl from the dog as it follows the wood.->

LM - The last few years I've been to Texas, New York and California. I've done my time in church halls, cutting promos that will only be seen on YouTube and DVD's that will sell at flee markets. When I got the call from Mr Brown I was excited. I want to be part of something with a beginning, being one of the first to step into a SWL ring, with a chance to become a National Champ, a hero to some and a trailblazer to others.

<- The dog is bored and sat in the distance chewing the stick to pieces.->

LM - When I look at the card and I see the names of the three guys I'll be facing in the first match of the night, I'm not surprised, not fussed to be honest. I don't want to sound like I'm complacent, trust me I'm taking this seriously but when I look at these names, there's no body that should be a threat to me.

<- Mulligan bends down and starts to pet the animal. ->

LM - An Iranian fruit loop, an American who pretends to be a Mexican and won some tin-pot title over there in a company that was so bad it had to close down the following day and a Japanese guy that's only here because his manager has been waving money in his face. I know too well that some of them Japs are tough, but trust me, they're not _THAT_ tough and there's nothing for me to worry about. This Sunday, I'll beat all three of them and I'll be so focused that I'm not even thinking about the other four wrestlers in the second match-up.

<- Mulligan stands up and walks off, his dog following by his side. - >

6 - Negro Tapia
---------------------------------------------

An empty bar, spanish guitar music is dimly playing in the background. A waiter stands cleaning some glasses and we see the back of a man, dressed in jeans, a dirty white vest and unlike most customers you'd see in a bar, an orange lucha libber mask with blue skeleton features. W

aiter: Another drink amigo?

Negro Tapia: Yea one more!

He fills his glass up with another dark whiskey. Negro Tapia smashes it down his throat, burning his insides on the way down.

Negro Tapia: Leave the bottle.

The waiter leaves the half empty bottle of whiskey and walks away, back to his glass cleaning.

He pours himself one.

Waiter: Something on your mind amigo?

Negro Tapia: I've been in town for two days, trying to sort out some accommodation, but I'm getting nowhere.

Waiter: What you looking for?

Negro Tapia: Just a small condo or something.

Waiter: Where you from?

Negro Tapia: California, but my family are from Tijuana.

Waiter: Your a long way from there here in High Valley. What are you doing here?

He lifts his head up, staring at him through the eye holes in his mask.

Negro Tapia: What do you think I'm doing here?

Waiter: It looks like you got thrown out a Star Trek convension.

Negro Tapia: How old do I look?

Waiter: The mask looks old, but you could be young. You're old enough to drink right?

Negro Tapia: Just about…

Waiter: So what are you, some Halloween freak?

Negro Tapia: I'm a luchador, I am, or was the SWS Wrestling Champion down in Mexico.

Waiter: Oh Mexican wrestling, you got any matches coming up.

Negro Tapia: Yea one on Sunday.

Waiter: I used to love the wrestling, my grandfather used to take me to the matches all the time. Shame I'm working then.

Negro Tapia stands up, uneasily on his feet. He pulls out a few notes from his back pocket and slams them down on the desk, he turns to walk away.

Negro Tapia: Check the TV listings for Dynamite TV - it's live.

Waiter: Yea I will amigo, good luck.

Half a step after going to leave, he turns back, reaches for his back pocket again and slams down some more notes on the counter, he grabs the bottle of whiskey and leaves.

The waiter counts the money.

Waiter: The bastard short changed me.

---------------------------------------------
7 - Jeff Michaels
---------------------------------------------

[The camera fades into a view of a 20x20 wrestling ring, in an empty lockup, totally nondescript.]

Jeff Michaels Off Screen: Preperation…

[Jeff Michaels walks into shot and climbs onto the apron. His shoulder length black hair is tied back, but like when he's wrestling he has his cut-off jean shorts and a white vest on.]

Jeff Michaels: Repetition is the mother of all skill.

[He steps through the ropes and into the ring.]

Jeff Michaels: When you see me wrestle you might think that I don't prepare. You might think that it takes no preparation to jump off a twelve foot ladder or to dive over the top ropes to the outside, but you'd be wrong.

[He leans back against the ropes, almost testing how strong they are.]

Jeff Michaels: But I've prepared for this weekend's match. I've trained, I've sacrificed and I've put the time in. But what about my opponents? Simon Dexter Henderson is a muscle head who seems too cocky to even lace up a pair of training boots. McMasters, the enigma - sometimes when you really believe in something and that something is yourself - you become complacent. He maybe a Wildfire, but to me he is complacent. And what about Super Bruiser, I doubt he could even climb into the ring without some assistance. 400lbs? That's a whole lot of shit.

[Michaels starts to jump up on his toes, bouncing from side to side.]

Jeff Michaels: I might have had some wars in the past, some battles - but I'm under no illusion what this weekend could do to my career and if I'm not successful, what it could do to my body.

[He jumps quicker, side to side, almost sweating from the speed.]

Jeff Michaels: But if I was one of my three opponents on Sunday, I'd be the ones worried. I'll put my body, my soul and my heart into anything and this Sunday, I'll be the first SWL National Champ!

[Fade to black]

---------------------------------------------
8 - Tommy McMaster
---------------------------------------------

[We open up in a Denny's restaurant. Opposite us is the forboding figure of "The Wildfire" TOmmy McMaster. His black hair hangs on his shoulders.
He is wearing blue jeans, black cowboy boots, and a " Burn it Up" long sleeve T-Shirt. He is drinking a huge cup of black coffee.
He has brief smile but then returns to his usual scowl]

McMaster: I know there is a buzz about myself and this place. This is a new federation and I'm a big league player yet why am I here? You know wherever I have been, I have had to start from the bottom, make my way up, climb the echelons, taking out everyone in my own inimitable way but here came the opportunity to start from the bottom up with everyone else. On an even keel so to speak.

It was good to not take up. It feels right to have myself as the flag bearer of this new dawn, this revolution in wrestling, to be the first ever National Champion, to make the company grow and create myself a legend as the foundation and cornerstone of this start up.

You may not know who I am. Maybe you haven't paid attention to the internet or TV. Maybe you like amazing local wrestling like Superstar Wrestling. I am not one for hyping up past achievements as they are what they are - the past. It doesn’t matter what you do or think you have done before. Today matters, tomorrow is your destiny and if you live in the past you will come up short. I am here as I stated to be the National champion, to force all of you past your comfort zones, to make you submit to a greater tolerance of pain.

[ He sips his coffee]

McMaster: I admit to not knowing much about the opponents and the tournament. I know a few of your names, I know you will being devastation, talk up your ability, go on and on about how you will be the best national champion who will take this place to the next level, how you are more accomplished than everyone else but its all false bravado. None of us know what it is going to happen, there very well could be bloodshed, there will be pain and agony, torture of our souls. This is what I live for. Not for titles, not for glory, not to be taken on and moved to the next level away from the indies like the rest of you. I can say all that hokum like I know you all will spout out. I may not be the greatest talker in the world, I may not even make sense to all of you simpletons out there but what I will do what I say, take the greatest pleasure in your bloodshed and I deserve to be the National champion and if not I don’t mind as I will take it another time but be prepared as there is only one Wildfire and I am just simmering, awaiting the spark to explode into life and burn the recesses of your souls.

Remember, There is no other option but to fall to the all emcompassing fire

---------------------------------------------
9 - Closing
---------------------------------------------

[Cut to the studio]

[Dougie Wright sits behind the same desk as before with the spinning SWL logo on a monitor behind him.]

Dougie Wright: There you have it folks, it doesn't take me to tell you all just how excited our SWL wrestlers are ahead of this Sunday's Dynamite TV. We've got some great athletes, who is going to be able to come out on top? There's only one way to find out and that's to tune in this Sunday for Dynamite Tv.

[He starts to shuffle his papers]

Dougie Wright: Until then, take care wrestling fans!
