====================================================================== Fantastic Fight Network Presents... ![]() UPDATE 03/28/13 ====================================================================== Hola, amigos! We got our first show out, WOO HOO! Now to get a second show out! Let's keep this rolling folks! Read through the update, let's all enjoy our Easter holidays and then get to rocking the 2nd episode! Please be sure to pay special attention to the sections of the update dealing with Pertinent Promo info. & Strats! PAY ATTENTION TO THOSE PARTS ESPECIALLY! OK? OK! Let's do this! ====================================================================== NWPW News ====================================================================== It was announced at the start of the 1st Revolution episode by FFN reporter, Julie Statler, that New Wave Pro Wrestling will be holding it's first ever Pay Per View event in a few months, "A Night Like This"! It was also announced that the main event of that event will be a RUMBLE with the winner being crowned the first ever, New Wave Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion! The only NEW news to report about the event is that it will be held at the Giant Center in Hershey, PA! Results from Revolution are below: "Rowdy" Jon Rawlins defeated "Nascar Fan" Earl Neville "Perfect Gentleman" Edgar Caspian defeated Oscar De La Red "Bling King" Benny King defeated The Mutt Tiger Soul & Chono Kajomi defeated Darkness & Dan Flores "Double Wide" Jerry Calhoun defeated Slick Nick "Pacific Perfection" Keoni Tanaka defeated Masked Maniac Sinister & Caden Santos defeated Felix Audiet & Edward Marley via DQ ====================================================================== NWPW Revolution 02 Line up ====================================================================== NOTE: "Singles action" means squash matches. New Wave Pro Wrestling travels to Gary, Indiana and rolls into the Genesis Convention Center for it's second episode of Revolution! JAMES TUNNEY will manage his TUNNEY FAMILY ("Lockdown" FELIX AUDIET, CHONO KAJOMI & "Sidewinder" EDWARD MARLEY) as all of them will see singles action on Revolution! DAN FLORES, TIGER SOUL, DARKNESS, CADEN SANTOS and SINISTER will also be seeing singles action at the Genesis Convention Center! "Bling King" BENNY KING laid out an open challenge with his SUPER OFFICIAL BLING on the line! Well someone is up to answer this challenge. JACKSON TOLLIVER was training with hopes to win shiny Gold at the Olympics until his trainer quit after the IOC announced they were ending wrestling at the 2020 Olympics. Now he's set his sights on the KING's shiny BLING! And in our MAIN EVENT, we'll see TAG TEAM ACTION! "Pacific Perfection" KEONI TANAKA impressed many with his debut for NWPW and now has the chance to make an even bigger impression when he teams up with another impressive man, "Perfect Gentleman" EDGAR CASPIAN! They have their work cut out for them though because their opponents are "Rowdy" JON RAWLINS, who made QUITE a splash on the 1st episode of Revolution both in his match and also by getting involved in another match, and his partner, the super sized Southern gentleman "Double Wide" JERRY CALHOUN! ====================================================================== Pertinent Info regarding Promos & On cards ====================================================================== PROMOS: Honestly, I enjoyed everyone's use of the banner set up and of the reporter for the show on the 1st Revolution. I'm willing to open things up a bit if someone wants to do stuff from a different setting but using the reporter and/or the banner set up turned out pretty well I thought. But I am willing to be flexible on this going forward for certain. If you have ideas for some other setting just shoot them by me first. Also, I have nothing against joint promos for tag match situations. *wink* FFN Reporter: TODD BANKS, who's just got back from a stay in Mexico which was not easy on his stomach, is the FFN Reporter on duty for this next Revolution! Todd is in his late 20's, is African American with a shaved bald head and a goatee and mustache. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, is pretty lean and will be wearing a dark gray suit with a white button up shirt and a dark red tie. ON CARDS: HERE is where you REALLY need to pay attention! I am going to open this up a bit. You can do more than one on card on the show if you need to. You can do up to TWO if you need, but no more than that. I know with only three shows to go til the PPV we may need to open this up a bit to make storylines work, so that is what I am trying to do. If you need up to two on cards, you can have it. ====================================================================== Strat Form & IMPORTANT Change to Strat Policy ====================================================================== THE OTHER AREA YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO!!! First, before we get to the strat form, let's get to a little note. Most everyone used the strat form and used it correctly. That made me very happy. But there may have been a strat or two that decided not to use the strat or did not fill all of it out. I discovered this late into working on the show and realized if I sent it back to be redone that would be pushing the show back further potentially. I realized that is a flaw in the policy stated in the FAQ. So.. NEW STRAT POLICY: If you do NOT use the strat form and/or if you do not fill out ALL the bits you need to (ESPECIALLY if you are in a main event, undercard tag match and/or PPV match) your strat will NOT be used. This is not an idle threat. I do actually mean this and you DO have to use the strat form and fill ALL of it out in pertinent matches. There are bits you don't have to fill out for squash matches but for other matches, yes, you must fill it all out. Including spots against your character. If you don't, you are basically wasting your effort because your strat will not get used. Keep it in mind going forward. Onto the strat form! Match: (Your character [and partners if applicable] vs Your opponent Entrance Notes: (If something special angle or story wise happens before the match in the entrance let me know about it here) General Ring Strategy: (Your character's general strategy towards the match and/or story ideas for the match. If you have an angle bit that happens during the match make sure that is listed here as well.) Spots Against Your Opponent: (Give me 3 spots of your guy nailing offense on your opponent. For supercards this is expanded to 5.) Spots Against Your Character: (Give me 3 spots of your opponent hitting offense on your guy. For supercards this is expanded to 5. For squash matches don't fill this part out.) Ideal Winning Finish: (Your ideal win for your guy) Ideal Losing Finish: (Losing is never ideal, I know, but if your character is to lose what would be the most ideal way of him losing? Let me know. Also, for squash matches don't fill this part out.) Postmatch Notes: (If something special angle or story wise happens after the match let me know about it here and/or if it's an oncard put it here.) ====================================================================== Deadlines ====================================================================== All promos, strats & on cards are due by Wednesday April 10th! Send all of it to: texanspaniard@yahoo.com If you have any questions, e-mail me and ask away! Thanks, hope all are well and on board for more New Wave Pro Wrestling! Adios! - 'Dro ====================================================================== ©2013 FFN |
