“The Hunch” by “Hunchback” Bob Finally something to get the blood flowing from the AEWF last night! Surely, by now you know what I am talking about, the handbags thrown by “The Eurocrat” Hans Van Der Fluyt and “The Rock” Luke Anthony. Apparently, this little incident was not planned by anyone and there is no secret of these two men dislike for each other. Anthony does not like “The Eurocrat” because of his genuine dislike for Americans and Van Der Fluyt does not like Anthony because...well...because he is American. Both sides were wrong on this one. I can see where Anthony is coming from, “The Eurocrat” should not have goaded and abused him during the show and he should have just concentrated on his opponent, but also Anthony should not have put his hands on Van Der Fluyt, finger on the chest notwithstanding. Anthony should have acted more professionally and waited until the show was over and have sorted it out backstage. Now he finds himself suspended indefinitely, and word is that he may not come back to the commentary table AT ALL, which is a shame given how popular he is with the fans, as was evident last night. Having said all that, I loved it! I loved the fact that this happened. It suddenly breathed new life in a show that went into a coma in its first show and was flatlining in the second show. It was the kiss of life that it needed and if the AEWF brass can’t see that then they need to look at the ratings, which spiked up during that quarter of the show. So who will sit in during Anthony’s absence? Well I, for one, would like to offer my services, surely I cannot be worse than Malissa Chance or that effeminate wanker, Tommy Song. Give me a call AEWF, I’ll be by the phone waiting. That’s “The Hunch”…Till Next Time. “Hunchback” Bob |
