So Jimmy Thunder is essentially the Taskmaster from Marvel Comics? That's....kinda cool actually.

How does Gran Kedamono differ from Mr. Sadisuto?

Seriously? Maybe the description isn't detailed enough because other than them both being Japanese heels, I don't see any similarities at all.

In my head, it's like asking "what's the difference between the Great Kabuki and Mr. Fuji?"

"THUNDERFOOT" CONNOR BARNES
A former rugby player, Barnes has ventured stateside to try his hand at pro wrestling after earning himself a lengthy ban from rugby for brawling. The nickname is derived from his powerful kicking strength including an enzuigiri that has knocked out countless foes on the independent circuit.

DYLAN JASPER ANDERSON
The self-professed God's Gift To Professional Wrestling has found himself unable to maintain a job at any reputable wrestling company because of the religious overtones of his gimmick and his ever-present manager, the Reverend Calvin Mackey who has been known to draw protesters to wrestling shows all over the Bible Belt. Anderson and Mackey have promised to tone down their rhetoric if brought to the AWA at long last.

"MANIAC" MORGAN DANE
The elusive "big brother" of the Dane family, Morgan has made a very good living over the years working in Japan and Puerto Rico where they can appreciate his brand of violence. Once deemed "too savage" for even EMWC officials, Dane's brutality is the stuff of legend throughout the world of wrestling. It says something about a man that he can't even get a job at a place where his own sister is a co-owner... or can he? Barefoot and violent, Dane comes to the AWA in search of total carnage and the best paycheck of his career.

THE MAD RUSSIAN
Led by former AWA manager Ivan Kostovich, this masked behemoth claims to be the embodiment of Mother Russia in fighting form. Since Kostovich's suspension from the AWA at SuperClash III, he has been on the hunt for an individual who he could bring to the AWA to achieve total dominance. He believes he has found that man in this hulking brute.

KENTA KITZUKAWA
The first graduate of the M-DOJO, Todd Michaelson's prize student has spent the years since PWR closed in Japan, earning himself a reputation as one of the finest wrestlers in the world. Despite many overtures to bring him to the States, Kitzukawa has made himself a hero to the people of Japan and one of the biggest superstars in the country. Representing AWA sister promotion Tiger Paw Pro, Kitzukawa has offered to come tour the United States under the AWA's promotion to test the waters for a permanent stay.

You need a Nathan Jones homage! Sure the guy sucked but he had so much potential with his riveting pre debut videos and his real life background of 16 years in prison, strongman comepitor, and mix martial artist! How could he have screwed it up!

"PLAYBOY" JOHNNY CASANOVA
A former AWA competitor who was let go several months ago, Casanova has spent every moment since then trying to work himself back into the front office's good graces. Casanova and former partner Dick Bass went on a lengthy tour of Puerto Rico where they were universally praised for having some of the best matches on the show. With a crack in the door of a "trial" return, Casanova hopes to make it stick this time. But will his long-time "main squeeze" Big Mama be by his side?

ALEXANDER KINGSLEY III
The richest man to ever lace a pair of boots, AK3's AWA stint was cut short by a serious neck injury. Now recovered, he is looking to get back inside the squared circle to show that he has as much talent as he does money in his bank account. With his manservant by his side, the former student of Mister Oliver Strickland believes there's nothing that his money can't buy and no one his talent can't beat.

SCOTTY MAYHEM
Third time's a charm? Scotty Mayhem was fresh off another failed AWA run when he was invited back to compete in his home state of Florida. Being home sparked new life into Mayhem where he quickly won the Florida Championship Wrestling title. He has defended the title undefeated since then and has caught the eye of AWA Talent Relations once more. Will Mayhem bring his "savage" style to the AWA again?

"PRINCE" COLIN HAYDEN
A former PCW competitor, Hayden spent his formative years in the business as the closest ally to the Lynch family. However, an off-camera falling out in the last year of business for PCW saw Hayden jump ship to a promotion in New Mexico. But in wrestling, time heals all wounds as this British master of the martial arts has been the subject of much lobbying by the Lynches to the front office.

"BUNKHOUSE" BOBBY O'CONNOR
The grandson of AWA President Karl O'Connor, Bobby has been one of the most popular competitors in the Kansas City area for the past few years. Forsaking his grandfather's sweet science for a brawling style, O'Connor has been in some of the bloodiest brawls the state has ever seen. His forehead is a mass of scar tissue and seemingly can open up at any moment but he is adored by the fans for his everyman attitude and incredible heart.

Would make a play to add Gran Kedamono to the Matsui Corporation if I didn't already feel aimless with my existing characters.

“GOLDEN” GRANT CARTER
Carter began his career in the world of wrestling as a manager and a middle of the pack manager at that. He has experience managing singles and tags but none to any level of success. Getting up there in years, Carter has decided to use his physical talents and try stepping in the ring himself. Todd Michaelson initially refused to put Carter in the Combat Corner due to his age but Carter’s determination eventually won the Head Trainer over as did his natural gift for the game. As Carter sets out for his rookie year in the business at the age of 36, he hopes to turn that determination and natural talent into success.

“DIRTY” DICK SULLIVAN
When last seen in the AWA, Sullivan had betrayed his long-time friend and partner, Sweet Daddy Williams, to take the cold, hard cash of the Russians. With a fresh perspective, Sullivan is coming back to the AWA and claims he has changed his ways. He’s still one of the toughest brawlers in the business and would likely pop a man’s finger off to make an extra trip to the winner’s side of the pay window.

“RED HOT” REX SUMMERS
A former holder of the AWA Longhorn Heritage Title, Summers was rocked by back-to-back losses to Glenn Hudson and the disappearance of his manager, Ben Waterson, and disappeared as well shortly after. Many in the front office believed this former PCW competitor was headed for future superstardom before this downhill stretch of his career and are enthusiastic as the master of the Heat Check DDT makes his return in 2013.

BILLY KANE
Former a comedic wrestler of the late 90s known as “Super Rad” Billy Kane, the cruiserweight competitor is nearing the end of his career and has ditched the skateboard and pop culture references for the type of career that his father, former Southern Heritage Champion Karl Kane, would be proud of. Kane is still a fan favorite but is more likely to throw a flying forearm these days than a 450 splash off the top.

THE WAR PIGS
If you ran a survey in Japan to find the best gaijin tag team, it would be a close result between Violence Unlimited and The War Pigs. However, the War Pigs have been unable to translate that overseas success into similar success here in the States. Their impressive physiques and power moves make them favorites of the front office but everyone’s waiting for that potential to become a reality.
