I don't recall that. It might've been more for the reference itself other than the implication. |

I understood it from that perspective. Homecoming being about the AWA coming "home", the end shot involves the characters most associated with "home". To me, the Texas Death Match had to end the show, because that is the biggest thing to happen. It is supposed to be this epic memorable match, so it needed to be the main event and get the main event spot. Not a major complaint, but is my opinion. How does it NOT close the show? Because Texas Death Match. |

Regardless whether or not it closed the show, I do appreciate that people think it deserved it. It was the first big match I've written in a long, long time. Was shocked Blue let me write all three let alone that. I actually think the show ended right though. |

I'm simply amazed that you could produce this show, Blue. The sheer volume is incredible. I'm only half way through the show, but my jaw has dropped several times. (probably should see a doctor about that.) |

Wow, fantastic show and MASSIVE PUBLIC SHOUTOUT (since I've already thanked him via email!) for an epic match for Shane and Carver by Wallie. Pure awesomeness. It was everything we were hoping it would be and more when we started talking about what kind of match would be needed to end this year long scuffle -- also props to Blue who proposed the 2/3 falls idea and the format which we used (taking place throughout the show). The lumberjack match was a lot of fun, I'm all for the second fall turning out the way it did because really who is invested into the 2 fall when you kinda know who is gonna win, and then the mind blowing death match that followed. Loved the table tease, the flying elbow was a cool ending, and the beatings they took were awesome. Is it too late to nominate it for best SNS match of 2013? ![]() I won't really get into the match placement too much as Blue always has a method for his madness and it's hard to piece together as many great segs as we all turn in and for it to mesh perfectly. It makes sense that it didn't end the show because of how the third fall started with Shane jumping Carver in the back -- so to me the initial idea COULD have been that it was written in to end Homecoming but the match started earlier than planned. My only issue with the show was that we have two live concerts haha! I'm guessing the Joshie D. (I can't remember how to spell it) was planned for a bit for a debut and then once the Piledriver spot got pushed back they either needed to change that ending or push it back ANOTHER show so it kinda had to go that way. Excited for the competitive Chase for the Clash tourney and to see who gets enterered. Also excited for HSS/Vasquez and loved the idea of Skywalker Jones and big Herc cashing in the shot against the Bombers. I thought about that awhile back as a possibility but the way it played out was a neat twist. |

I thanked him via e-mail as well, but yeah... that is definitely on a short list of Carver's greatest matches ever. All of which were probably also written by Wallie. Except for that one with Shane Destiny that Andy wrote. Great show all around. |

I read the whole show and it was definitely highlighted by Carver/Shane. I thought Shane might take the third fall. Where to for Shane now? And where to for Carver?Absolutely a piledriver on Lynch has to close the show in Texas. I think maybe a few more fluff pieces in between would have given the reader a chance to recover. Skywalker Jones stepping up to Calisto Dufresne is going to be a fun match. I got a little lost on the Craven stuff just because it was in the middle of such a packed card. Did the Hangman debut not happen or did I miss it? Again, Blue, Wallie, you guys turned in an impressive homecoming. |
