I can't really do a long reaction because I am at work, but as usual, the show was very solid. It kept things moving to SuperClash and gave some time and shine to characters who haven't gotten so much lately (Air Strike, Lane).


Spoilers, obviously, it being a reaction thread.







Anton Layton is ded.

That was the greatest headlock in human history.

I only just figured out who Dusscher is a homage of while reading this show. Should have seen it earlier. Somebody get Stevie Scott a one-strap singlet.

And any show that ends with Alphonso Green standing tall gets extra super bonus points.

The Wise Men/Royalty stuff is heating up.

Good to see the Moonshiners finally recover from Juan Vasquez finding them.

Wasn't so sure about the Marley/Detson thing... I really felt like Marley could have won the Chase and I don't really see how throwing the match was disrespecting the title. It wasn't the finals or anything. I dunno, I'm a big Marley fan and just thought he could have gone all Hillary Clinton and broken the glass ceiling with this tourney.

Good stuff as a whole, as usual.

Good show indeed. I'm a little bummed with the Marley/Detson fallout mostly because this was supposed to be a competitive tourney based on promos (and maybe it still was, maybe it could have gone either way and was up to Blue) but I would have rather seen an actual match. It makes sense in-character, just kind of left a sour taste in my mouth -- which makes it perfectly heelish.

The arrival of the Hangman was fun, excited to see who he murders next.

Lot of fun tag feuds brewing with the newer teams which is cool -- which got me thinking...when will Cousin Bo show up with a new team?

Everytime something ends the way Green/Bryant did it makes me think we are building to a triple threat match! What a tease.

Not sure if it was announced before but it looks as though the 2nd RD is Wright/Maximus winner vs Detson and Vasquez/Scott vs. Nenshou/Bryant. In other news...will Scott be stripped of his shot at the Gold for his actions?!

The skull paint still makes me think of Casey James to this day which is a pretty cool thing in this hobby to have that everlasting association with a character with something so simple.
