There have been some dumb and insulting ideas in E-Wrestling. But the one that I'm still embarassed to remember was on an EMWC PPV, between Super Scott and someone else (I've forgotten his opponent; sadly, I still remember the match). It was a 'Vagina' match- yes, a wrestling match inside a vagina. (I want to say it was in 1999 or 2000, but I might be wrong) It actually wasn't a match- it was just a way to insult and mock another handler. That it was put on a PPV- especially one from EMWC- was stupid and tragic. I believe both handlers were asked to leave the fed after several handlers complained about the match. It was dumb, it was embarassing, and it was only written to take potshots at someone. That's the best (worst) example of e-Wrestlecrap I can think of. |

Embarassing locations eh? If memory serves me right, back many moons ago in UWF during a Pride VS Daimyo stable war, there was a match between Sweet Madness ("Sweet" Sho Satsuma & Randall Osbourne) and The Sweet Saviors (Scott "Hotspot" Daniels and Shawn Vexton) for the world tag titles, and it was held inside of a lion's den. No no, not that Ken Shamrock gimmicky cage. I mean the match happened in an actual lion's den at some local zoo in the city where the PPV was held... No lions were harmed in the filming of the match, but it's still pretty gimmicky I think. It's no Meatman challenge though. ;-) For those of you that are bored, check it out |

The opponent for the vagina match was Alex Rio. It was animated ... just so everyone understands how the hell you could visually show a match there. I actually thought it was pretty funny but I can see why the complaints. |

The Isle of Sycorax Match from GLCW. Wugdullah the Bully versus Caliban, fighting on the ice floes in Alaska. First one into the water loses. And yes, we even managed to incorporate a tip-of-the-hat to "Titanic", with Wug and Caliban holding on to an ice floe as it's about to sink vertically. Blame no one else for this abomination but yours truly. |

I saw a match in an old board fed that took place in the Mall of America, it was a battle-royal-esque match, and was okay until somehow the mall flooded and they were fighting under water. |

in UEW we held an entire PPV on a cruise ship one year (Holiday Horror - The Bruise Cruise) Interesting place considering everythign happened int he middle of the ocean. I believe UEW ran a house of mirrors match at one time and of course "THE HUMAN CHESS MATCH OF DOOM!!!" |

Wasn't that also the card that featured interference that involved a blimp? |

GFWA - Some title match that was in the ring surrounded by the ocean.. complete with silly highspots into water and the such. It made no sense, made no mention of how people got out there, and was on the same PPV where someone powerbombed Britney Spears. So yeah. Unfortunately Case was the champ during this match. NEW - Pier Six. Another wrestlecrap match involving Case, a pier, hypothermia for Courtade, and gratuitous use of mindless props. WLW - Now, this is more or less heresay, but I've been told that they held an entire PPV at Yankee Stadium...........in January. If anyone can shed light on this, please let us know, I'd love to read it. WCW - Judy Bagwell on a Pole. Oh, e-wrestling, right right. Stay on track. Coming Soon - Justin Arcola vs. Tommy Morrison - Who Got the HIV match! Mike G. "JUSTIN ARCOLA: AIDS, Brian. The acquired immune defeciency syndrome. I am HIV-positive. Angel Ramirez is... the man who gave it to me." |

There was a blimp involved in more than one UEW PPV. Hell, If I remember right, the New Alliance had their very own blimp. |

I was involved in something called a "Concrete Slab" match in the now dead PFA. It was a battle between two guys in a twenty foot high concrete slab...the one that gets tossed off loses. Don't ask me how somebody managed to pour concrete to a perfectly square 20' slab. Good news is the fed only ran one... bad news is it ended in a tie.... |

UEW was the king of weird locations. I'm guilty of creating the following UEW head shakers: *Human Chess *Up the River--IBM Plaza in Chicago next to the Chicago River I apologize. As for the blimp...damn thing cost AE a title! Knew Merc should have the bazooka. For the record, it's Matthews-J'Ster for the 1st sighting thanks for Rob Magnum. 2nd was techincally Extreme-Colby when Extreme rode the Bulls bllimp into the United Center. The 3rd was Matthews-Extreme-Styles. Extreme mockingly parachuted down from one for an RITB as well. As for worst location ever... That Sandora-Extreme thing at the bridge...ugh. It sounded good at the time. It really did. Looking back on it now, when being questioned by Andy, Terry, and Fletch I should have realized how this wasn't going to work. The part where Sandora kidnaps Extreme in the trunk...okay, that was bad. I'd claim I was on drugs at the time but that'd be a lie. truly, truly sorry. |
