MEDIA RELEASE:

KDC-77 & SWL Settle Out Of Court

KDC-77, the Raleigh, NC based community broadcasting station has settled its legal dispute out of court with wrestling promoter Doc Brown.

Both parties had taken legal action against the other after KDC-77 cancelled Doc Brown's 'Superstar Wrestling League: DYNAMITE TV' in April after the network were unhappy with the amount of violence in the opening edition.

Brown had claimed that his contract with the broadcaster was unfairly cancelled, leaving his 'Superstar Wrestling League' unable to fulfil their touring commitments and were therefore unable to pay their contacted talent. Many of the international strong roster have since left North Carolina.

KFC-77 have refused to comment on the agreement, but a spokesman has confirmed that 'DYNAMITE TV' will not be making a return to KDC-77.

It is believed that the incident KDC-77 were offended by was when Madhu Karna stabbed Negro Tapia with a spike during the first episode.
