Run it at Cowboys Stadium so we can look silly for only filling 1/4th of the seats and it still winds up being the best attended AWA show ever!

I was actually looking for an outdoor venue in Dallas to set the record with. Not something too big but.. yeah.

What is the AWA attendance record?

An excellent question! I'd have to go back and check to be sure but I'm guessing we've put it around 9 or 10 thousand.

Didn't we do a Watts-ian Superdome show before?

I'm sure we'd have opportunity to have broken 9-10k a time or two, on certain supercards. It might not be common to do that, but I'd think our one-show high would beat that.

I'm guessing Battle at the Bayou or Blood Sweat and Tears. We've set two attendance records in Louisiana to my knowledge.

Not sure if the Hall of Fame is still a thing...but if it is, given that the AWA is the last major fed standing in this circle, how about having the next induction ceremony at SuperClash V?

I was always hesitant to do that because I didn't want to establish any kind of link between the AWA and the HOF. Always concerned me that people wouldn't want to participate if they thought I was using the Hall as a way to promote the AWA.

I don't know. Maybe it's not as big of an issue anymore. Anyone else have any thoughts on that?

Like was said, you're the only boat around here these days. If it insults anyone, too bad? No one else is really running afterall.

A thought: Why not just have SuperClash V include, as a special segment, the current Hall of Famers being recognized, alongside the announcement of the newest members? Something along the lines of a "legends reunion" to go along with recognizing new HOFers.

I think the HOF should still be recognized as its own entity independent of the AWA, but there's no reason the AWA can't host a segment to recognize the members.
