This batch of I Make 'Em, You Take 'Em comes in two parts.

Part #1 consists of characters who have been offered before or in a few cases, have actually been handled by others before. If you choose one of them, we'll chat to discuss the prior character's runs and figure out the best course of action to take. Of course, I can also supply you with the apps for those characters if you're interested in seeing what came prior.

PART #1
---
“RED HOT” REX SUMMERS
A former holder of the AWA Longhorn Heritage Title, Summers was rocked by back-to-back losses to Glenn Hudson and the disappearance of his manager, Ben Waterson, and disappeared as well shortly after. Many in the front office believed this former PCW competitor was headed for future superstardom before this downhill stretch of his career and are enthusiastic as the master of the Heat Check DDT makes his return in 2014.
MOST LIKE: Rick Rude
NOTES: Has a history with Ben Waterson and is a former AWA and PCW title holder. Feuded with Travis Lynch for a period of time.

THE WAR PIGS
If you ran a survey in Japan to find the best gaijin tag team, it would be a close result between Violence Unlimited and The War Pigs. However, the War Pigs have been unable to translate that overseas success into similar success here in the States. Their impressive physiques and power moves make them favorites of the front office but everyone’s waiting for that potential to become a reality.
MOST LIKE: The Road Warriors
NOTES: Had a Paul Ellering-esque manager that dumped them. We can revisit that if you'd like. Have had some small feuds in the AWA but nothing of great note. They'd be pretty much a blank slate for a handler.

WILLIE HAMMER
Sweet Daddy Williams discovered Willie Hammer on a scouting trip to Southern California. Hammer has been working the majority of the SoCal indies for the past few years and has developed quite the cult following. A big kid, Hammer’s surprising agility and aerial skills have thrilled the fans as well as the AWA front office who see big things for this young man.
MOST LIKE: Willie Mack (YouTube it, people!)
NOTES: SDW is his mentor. Recently debuted at SuperClash V as part of the Steal The Spotlight matchup. Spent some time in the Combat Corner. Also pretty much a blank slate.

VERNON RILEY
The blue collar everyman has seen quite some time go by since a broken leg sidelined him from AWA action. In the time since, he went home to Florida and helped the AWA expand their territory into the area. Many also believed that Riley was instrumental in getting the AWA involved in the proposed Sunshine State Wrestling promotion that went under before it got started. Now, Riley has tired of working outside of the ring and wants to get back inside the squared circle. One of the most popular men in AWA history could have an immediate impact upon returning.
MOST LIKE: Dusty Rhodes
NOTES: Riley has been gone from the AWA for a long time now (minus one or two cameos) so you can pretty much start over with him. He did feud with the Unholy Alliance and Anton Layton for a spell. Actually has a lengthy history with Layton in his background - the Rhodes/Sullivan of e-w if you will. Good friends with SDW as well.

"BIG BAD" BRUNO BRADLEY
The man with the tattooed skull from Las Vegas, Nevada, Bradley is a former bounty hunter (six justifiable homicides on record) who found a love of the Combat Arts when he was in Japan. Standing 6'3 and weighing 340, Bradley has phenomenal speed and agility for a man his size which made him a top star in Japan upon graduating from Tiger Paw Pro's training dojo. He's been trying to come home to the States for a few years now, looking to be closer to his family, and has had a couple of appearances in the AWA but has been unable to stick... until now.
MOST LIKE: Bam Bam Bigelow
NOTES: Nothing in the AWA of note. He also spent some time in PCW so he could conceivably have links to the Lynches among a few others.

---

Part #2 of this batch contains brand new characters/gimmicks that we're pitching for the very first time. There are some (in my opinion) very unique characters this time around that could prove very interesting for some of you guys to try to handle.

I've elected not to do full apps at this time for any of these. However, if you decide to handle one of them and want me to, I will. I'm also more than willing to work with you to develop an app that we both like. And in one of the below, the final app (and handler) must be signed off by another person... you'll see why when we get there.

-----

TORA
The fiery highflyer grew up watching wrestling in the late 90s - a time when junior heavyweights like TORA Wanizame (his namesake), Juvenil Infierno, Macht Kraftwerk, and Youth Gone Wild were all the rage. He has spent his entire life being told that he's too small to compete at the upper levels but he's determined to prove them all wrong. Already a graduate of Terry Shane Jr and Oliver Strickland's school - The Yard - TORA has spent the last two years in Japan and Mexico, honing his craft. Now, at the age of 21, he enters the AWA to prove that the smallest dog in the fight still has a shot of winning it all.
MOST LIKE: The 1-2-3 Kid
NOTES: Really loved the idea of having him be a mark for the junior heavyweights from when we started out in this game. I'd look for him to have some of their signature moves or perhaps some of their signature moves with a twist. TORA should be the ultimate underdog in every situation he comes into.

"THE GLORY" BORISLAV ZHARKOV
The story goes that a young American couple was in Russia on vacation in the mid-90s with their young baby. A tragic car crash took the lives of the parents but somehow the child survived. Trapped in a sea of red tape, the child was taken into the Russian child protection system and bounced from orphanage to orphanage until the age of 14 when he was adopted by a Russian scientist and his wife. As this powerful young man enters the AWA, he does so with what seems to be a brainwashed view of America and its people... and a physique that seems almost impossible to attain through natural means. A true genetic experiment, this powerhouse has promised to bring true glory and honor back to Mother Russia and to wash the stains left behind by previous Russian pro wrestlers.
MOST LIKE: Uhhh... Scott Steiner? Mark Henry? I'm aiming for some crazy levels of strength here but wrapped up in an evil foreign heel package.
NOTES: You can even have Ivan Kostovich as a manager if you want.

"BLOOD ANGEL" AMBROSE WHITE
By now, the legend of "Blood Angel" Simon Ezra is well known by wrestling fans. A small man by wrestling standards, Ezra burst upon the scene in the late 90s in a sea of crimson and violence. He brought intensity to his every movement and tore through his opponents with a ferocity unmatched. But just as quickly as he arrived, he was gone. Few know where Ezra is there days however his best friend, Bobby Taylor, believes him to be dead... which is why Taylor was especially shocked to find an equally small but intense wrestler on his front doorstep one cold Texas night. Ambrose White claims to have been inhabited by the spirit of the Blood Angel... and those who have spoken to him believe him to be speaking the truth.
MOST LIKE: Talk to me. We'll chat.
NOTES: Yes. We'll chat. This one's a little hard to describe so we'll talk about it and see what we can come up with.

NOBORU FUJIMOTO
Growing up at the base of Mt. Fuji, this athletic young superstar from Japan knows what it's like to stand in the shadow of titans. Becoming a pro wrestler in Japan can often make you feel like a second-class citizen as you hear names from America that few Japanese wrestlers will ever get the chance to compete again. Fujimoto attended a Tokyo Dome show in 1998 that changed his life. From that moment, he knew that he NEEDED to become a professional wrestler. He dedicated his life to achieving that goal. After his training time in Tiger Paw Pro's dojo, Fujimoto quickly rocketed up the card, becoming one of Japan's most popular superstars with his dazzling charisma and work inside the ring. At the peak of his game in Japan, Fujimoto seeks an opportunity in the States to show that pro wrestling in his homeland is every bit as good as it is abroad.
MOST LIKE: I'll leave this open for you. Pick your favorite puro star.
NOTES: This one is interesting. For a while now, I've wondering about presenting a Japanese wrestler who doesn't speak English and doesn't have your typical American manager to speak for him. We've seen a little of it with Nenshou but Fujimoto would be the first to try to present COMPLETELY that way from Day One.

BRIAN JAMES
To those who don't know Brian's history, you would think he's your typical whitebread babyface. He's young, he's strong... he looks like the proverbial blue chip prospect. And to top it off, he's a really nice guy. The fans should really like him. The locker room should look at him as the perfect ally and tag team partner. He's well-trained, having spent some time in the Combat Corner as well as being privately trained by some other former wrestlers. The world is his oyster as he's poised to make his debut. Buuuut... he's Casey James' bastard son.
MOST LIKE: Talk to me. We'll chat.
NOTES: This is the one that has to be approved. I pitched this idea to Mat Findlay a month or so back and he's already put in some of his touch to make it more like something he'd do. He has not asked for final approval of the app but I intend to give it to him. So, if you've ever wanted to collaborate on an app with me and Hall of Fame handler Mat Findlay, this would be the one to pursue. Obviously, Mat is a very old friend and one of my favorite people ever in this game so I will not be giving this character to any "geek off the street" to quote the illuminati Google hangout. You'd better be someone I know and trust quite well if you're asking for this one.

----

And there you go.

I'm making a slight change to the rules since the shows have been a little less timely lately even though this has never been an issue.

Any character you select becomes AWA exclusive for a period of a year before you'd be allowed to take them elsewhere. If you leave the AWA (by choice or otherwise) within that time, all rights to the character reverts back to yours truly.

And of course, I reserve the right to hold certain characters back if I don't feel you're the right match handlerwise for the character.

If you're interested in any of the above, drop me a line ASAP because typically, this is first come first serve.

Pick a winner!

After removing those who seem like they're likely off the market, here's what we have left for anyone still considering it.
