Oh, Mossy. There was a running joke going that Moss had gone to jail because some of us found prison booking pictures of an "Adam Moss" from the state he claimed to live in (Iowa, maybe?). e-W sure does have a lot of psychos. I guess the real question is, do we have more than the typical hobby, and if so why do you think that is? I have a theory on it, but I want to see what other people say first. Brian J. Ehhh ... Frankie wasn't that crazy. Saw him listed in PWI's top 500 one year. #485 or something. That and a picture in a pro wrestling magazine with him doing the job to someone in ... crap, what was it? XPW? Anyway, he was covered in glass. I mean, y'know, Frankie Starz is a pretty distinct name. It couldn't possibly have been a different guy. And if you're crazy, claiming to be a wrestler, why claim to be an obscure one? Hell, I know plenty of indy wrestlers, including people who have worked matches with down-on-their-luck pros. Apparently Road Dogg/whatever his name is this week is a douche... |

It's not hard to be obsessed with Heidi Lieck, and in a hobby where we all pretend to be wrestlers, the five odd guys who actually tried or lied about making it real aren't competely insane. With Starz the rumours I heard were... Either sexually harassing a female handler, or pushing a character over EVERYONE because he was sleeping with the handler. And I think Jim Crowe mentioned Starz killing one of his characters after he left his fed, whether this is burying and not murdering is anyone's guess, but given how vocal and upset he was, I'm inclined to believe it was more than putting a guy over. ...that said I could be wrong about the first one, and JC could have exaggerated the second one.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe she did the voice-over work for the lead character in the PS2 game Primal. No it's not live action, but she worked the role very well. Mind you I loved that game. Too bad my PS2 died on me before I could finish it. But regardless, she's still around I guess... |

I'm sure this is late in the conversation, but I just read the thread. I know Frankie personally, (and his brother, for that matter) he used to live near me in Queens (we attended a few Yankee games in the past) then he moved to Florida. Now we stay in touch online. He most definitely was a professional wrestler. He was a local indy guy, by his own admission, he wasn't very good, but he was great at marketing himself. His claim to fame, he was with the WWF for the show they did on MTV (before Tough Enough). He was on the show, and the WWF's payroll, for two weeks, which he used to promote himself in the indys. Unfortunately, as good as he was at promoting himself, he was just as good as pissing off promoters because of some of his unorthodox behaviors (for example, once he was part of a stable beat down in the ring where he was taken out by stretcher, a big deal was made about whether he'd ever be able to walk again due to a chairshot to his knees...then during the very next match, he came out drinking a beer and hanging out with some of his friends in the crowd, thus killing the whole injury angle for the crowd). Eventually he had some issues with drugs (which is a typical happening for pro wrestlers), injuries and age so he retired...for a while. He's now wrestling again in Florida. Obviously Starz isn't his actual last name, but I can tell you as a fact the guy in e-wrestling who claimed to be Frankie Starz was, indeed, him. |

I remember Frankie. He wasn't a bad guy. He was from NJ/NY and the filter "sugar coating" filter from his brain to his mouth didn't work at all. I just remember he had a huge problem with Jody (Nyx Dunne). He and Rob both. Reading this thread made me think of this. I took a call from Rob while working in the LG call center. You can't mistake his last name and he was from PA. I was pretty sure it was him. After the phone call was done, I thought to myself "What are the chances?!" |

I remember one time I was looking around random E-Feds, and I found this place called JWF. I thought looked fair enough, and a little funny because it stood for Joe Wrestling Federation (There were like six characters named Joe). Turns out he was a troll, and he made up an entire roster of characters to keep his fed open with me as the centerpiece because I was the only other guy. Eventually other people joined, but he would always book his main character "Joe Santiago" over others, even going as far as manipulating the post time on a promo so that it would say it was before the deadline even though it was after. That was the day I unknowingly unleashed a troll upon the e-wrestling world. |
