NOTE: This is an e-mail based Fed, where only ORIGINAL, CREATE YOUR OWN WRESTLERS WILL BE ACCEPTED. There are no roleplay boards, there are no real-life wrestlers.

Also, I'm open to suggestions and critiques. If the rather simple ratings system is a "bust" for the Fed, I'll do away with it but it really depends on an overall, collective opinion because I think the ratings system will be great!

1. TERMS YOU NEED TO KNOW
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This is e-mail roleplay and text based EFed. No Roleplay boards.

On-Card: Promo/Appearances/Attacks on our weekly show/PPV.

IC: In Character. As in, how it's portrayed inside of the "game", the TCW.

OOC: Out of Character. Outside of your character, information/statements directed towards the handlers.

E-Mail Based/Text Based Fed: What this means is that, when you apply, I ask for your email address and I put you on a mailing list along with everyone else. You send roleplays and on-cards to me and I relay those to the mailing list of the Fed. Everything your character does goes through the email address of TCWOffices@Gmail.com Then I review it and send it out.

Match Strategy: Basically an optional form you send in prior to an event in which your wrestler is scheduled for a match. It gives an idea as to how you want your character to be portrayed in the ring. It really helps for match-writing purposes to help "push" or progress your character's overall gimmick. I used to include my wrestler's mind-set as well as beginning, middle and late-match wrestling strategy where I briefly summarized how I wanted to beat my opponent. You can include "spots" or "bumps" as well. It's a guide to your wrestler's in-ring attitude/skill-set. All of it could be used in your match or just some of it but the extra effort will not go to waste.

Roleplay: Your wrestler's interviews/promos.

If you are new to EWrestling, please Google and review as much information as possible before joining. If you can find a link to it, which I had, then immediately lost and haven't found again: check out the Keening School of Grappling Arts. Patrick Calnan, one of the all-time legendary handlers of Ewrestling dedicated a lot of time to our hobby, as well as KSGA, a fantastic site.

If you can't find that, there's plenty of information to get you started or to get your creative juices flowing again.

2. FEDHEAD INTRODUCTION/ABOUT TCW
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

OOC:

Hey Guys,

I'll attempt to keep this part brief. I've been in ewrestling since 1996. I've created characters that have held titles in various feds. I've been a Fedhead before as well. I've written great matches, as well. I am extremely confident in my writing abilities and in my ability to compete in our little world of EWrestling.

THIS EFED IS E-MAIL BASED. Which means, I judge wins and losses based on roleplays, angles/feuds/storylines. I also love the "match strategy" aspect of ewrestling to help put your character over. Match strategies are optional, however, character development in any form is encouraged.

Now, my goal in making this Fed email based is an attempt to try and attract the older, experienced, veteran handlers. However, I AM ACCEPTING ALL APPLICATIONS and encourage you to apply.

YOU NEED TO KEEP IN MIND that I'm running this Fed as a Nationwide Organization. To keep it realistic, In Character, it'll be explained as a Fed that's working towards a National Interest but until enough fans follow, there will be a MidWest Regional Tour. When I feel we have enough dedicated handlers, we will venture out a little more. It's not a big deal, I'll be running it as a side storyline. IC, there's plenty of money backing the organization so think big right out of the gate, we have WWE money, essentially.

The Main Goal of mine? To create an atmosphere that's exciting and fun and keeps you coming back. And I want us all to have fun! EWrestling, especially email/Text Based, takes a ton of work on my part and if I didn't have the time or the drive to tackle the challenge of running a Fed, believe me, I wouldn't do it. I remember when I was younger, I used to stay up late and wake up early looking for roleplay packets and cards. I was obsessed. That's how I want you to feel. I'm personally extremely excited and can't wait to get this going.

Another goal of mine is to release our shows and roleplay packets and everything else swirling around in my head ... On Time! Now, with a family and life in general, things will happen, for all of us, I get it but I want to meet my deadlines.

In a perfect world, this Fed would have the mentality of the WWF vs. WCW era mid to late 90s and early 2000s. Its be nice to have alliances and stables and just that type of "anything goes" mentality. In a perfect world, characters/handlers would come out of "retirement" to give their guy one last shot!

I'm also not blind to the fact that every great EFed has handlers that help make the Efed great! The best feds always have a collaborative effort to reach the same goal in one way or another.

So, if you've got any extra time, I'm willing to do all of this myself but would love some extra hands.

-- Match and Creative Writers. Matchwriters to give matches a different feel and add to the excitement. Creative writing is really anything you feel you'd like to do to make the Fed better. Just let me know.

-- Website guy. Nothing too spectacular, just informational for the most part.

-- Image/Logo guy. The two could go hand-in-hand but my specialty is the writing itself. I'd love to have Wrestler Images that aren't pictures of real-life celebs/wrestlers/people. I need a guy to create the image of wrestlers that handlers describe in words. Logos are big on my list for Website/Realistic purposes but the original wrestler images are not. I'm fine with using real people that look like your wrestler, sure would be nice though.

THERE IS A RATINGS/POWER RANKINGS SYSTEM IN PLACE, INFO THROUGHOUT THIS HANDBOOK!

A note about the ratings system: Don't let the ratings system deter you or be your final decision in joining. The ratings system allows me to break the Fed down a little more, competitively. It'll also give handlers some extra motivation. The ratings system will help the quality of the fed, only in a good way.

That definitely wasn't brief and I probably left a ton out. Like I mentioned, though, I have the time to do this and the motivation. I am ready to put a great product out there! If I didn't have the time or the interest, I wouldn't be doing this. You are in good hands.

Get on the mailing list whether you will be participating or just following us: TCWOffices@Gmail.com

Social media ... Not yet.

Another thing I'm open to is text messaging just to shoot me ideas or what-not throughout your day or to let me know if you can't meet a deadline or to tell me I'm an idiot. Email me and ask for the number if you'd like.

IC:

Top Choice Wrestling became an official wrestling promotion on February 1, 2016 with William Green listed as the Owner and his best friend stemming back to their childhood, Brian Gokings listed as the General Manager. Both parties have a lot of money at stake. William Green's net worth is listed at nearly a billion dollars and Brian Gokings dropped a healthy balance from an inheritance he received giving him a thirty percent share of the company and a contract giving him full creative control of the Company, only to be trumped, if necessary, by William Green himself.

Nationally branded, Top Choice Wrestling is ready to take wrestling to a whole new level!

3. TCW RULES
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If there is ever any question about the rules, ask first, please.

PG-13 TV: We will be airing shows on cable tv. Kids are watching. Censor your cuss words. I don't mind the cursing at all, just write "CENSORED" or "BEEP" ... Whatever works. Keeping it realistic is key.

NOTHING PERSONAL RULE: The "nothing personal" rule means that you keep your wrestler in-character at all times. If you are Jon and you hate Terry, I don't want your wrestler Big Guy to say: "Terry's a f(BEEP)g dumbass" (see how I kept it PG-13?) when Big Guy is supposed to be addressing Terry's wrestler, Little Guy. There's a handler that's Out of Character and there's the wrestler, the character. Keep those two people separate, please.

ROLEPLAYS/ONCARDS LIMITS AND RULES: You are required to do ONE roleplay per week to be considered active. You are allowed a MAXIMUM OF TWO ROLEPLAYS PER WEEK. You are allowed to pick/create your own locations/sceneries for your roleplays, they do not to take place in an arena or at an event. Please be realistic though, I don't want roleplays with Billy Bob sitting on the sun. Also, QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. Even if you were allowed 100 Roleplays per packet, if your opponent's 1 was better than any single 1 of your 100, then they'll get the nod in that category of me deciding who wins and who loses. Make every appearance count.

You cannot use anyone else's character in your roleplays unless they give you permission and I've verified it.

You can never "speak" (write) what another character says, unless they give you permission and I've verified it.

On-Card Promos/Attacks or Appearances are not guaranteed even if you send me a spot. I would let you know immediately why I wont use your on card. This happens rarely but it all depends on the spot and the situation and the storyline.

WORK WITH OTHER HANDLERS AND COMMUNICATE!! I encourage you to request a handler's email address so you guys can work together on a feud or storyline or promo -- Remember, it takes all of us to make this Fed great! And have you ever heard the expression "A closed mouth doesn't get Fed"? Communication is vital in EWrestling. If you're not happy with me or others, express that to me. I cannot read your mind. Suggestions? Complaints? Ideas? Missing a Deadline? A hiatus? Communication is key! Speaking of communication, don't lose this: TCWOffices@Gmail.com

HAVE FUN!! This is a great hobby, in my opinion. Let's keep it light and fun! I want a competitive Fed and you want competition but when you can have this much fun during competition, it's that much better! I promise to keep this Fed fun and competitive.

4. TCW STAFF
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

(More description may be made available at a later time. I do have pictures for every staff member and those will be posted and available to you. Below, I have a list of people my characters resemble, looks wise.)

Owner: William Green. Successful 42 year old businessman out of the MidWest that dropped some serious cash to launch Top Choice Wrestling. He is a more of a "behind-the-scenes" guy with a "wrestlers and fans keep this company" going mentality. He doesn't appear often, unless needed, or for a big event, if that. William is a business building genius and is a Superfan of Pro Wrestling and has been his entire life. He has a great mind and vision for the company, he just doesn't want to the actual leg-work, he'd rather handle the financial and paperwork aspects of the company, he interviewed a hired a staff dedicated to the success of the brand and enlisted the help of his best friend, Brian Gokings.

General Manager: Brian Gokings. Gokings is an energetic fireball that wears his emotions on his sleeve. He's been working in the wrestling industry for around twenty years, but most of that time, he actually did a lot of physical labor, like a stage-hand, basically. Until now, his past few years have been spent in "creative spaces" with various small wrestling organizations. Just recently, the 38 year old received an inheritance due to a death in his family. He put up a nice chunk of money to buy a portion of TCW, giving him a cool thirty percent share but with a stipulation that he has full reign of the company only to be trumped by Green himself, if need be. Gokings is the "Power That Be", the face of TCW's management, with financial interests and strives to make this organization the absolute best in the Nation. Gokings is short in stature and fit in "regular human terms". When it comes to standing toe to toe with professional wrestlers, however, it's a different story. A security team has been hired, however, and Gokings friend, Zo leads that team.

Head of Security: Zo Perkins. All we know about Zo is that he's the head of Security and his job is to maintain some type of order, or at least try to. He's also Gokings "right hand man" and is with Gokings, taking orders and carrying them out, often.

Ring-Announcer: Debbie Dunn. A young sports fanatic hired by TCW because of her great journalism/sports reporting background. She has never worked in the wrestling industry but is now the Ring Announcer and lead reporter for Top Choice Wrestling. She is also a great piece of "eye-candy" and dresses provocatively, leaving a mind to wander. Debbie is the lead reporter and also has her hand in the Marketing and Media Department.

"Play-By-Play" Commentator: Jimmy Evans. Energetic, full of life and excited about the future of TCW! This is a genuinely good guy and great announcer! Jimmy hasn't worked with a promotion as announcer, yet, this will be his first real gig. He's young, in his early 20s and hungry for great wrestling entertainment! A fan of the TCW just as much as anyone else.

Color Commentator: Clarence Watts. A seasoned veteran in the professional wrestling world that wrestled for over 30 years with tons of different promotions and never won a title. In his late fifties, Clarence thinks he still "has it" and could jump into the ring at the drop of a hat but truth is, he never really had it to begin with. He's an excellent addition to the TCW staff though. He has a sense of humor and can't help but root for the bad guy most of the time.

Head of Referees: Buddy Freeman. An older gentlemen that attempts to make wrestlers follow the rules in the ring. He is head of a small referee crew.

TCW also employs a media and marketing staff filled with journalists/reporters.

What does the staff LOOK like?

Owner, William Green - Mark Cuban.

GM, Brian Gokings - Mark Wahlberg.

Head of Security, Zo Perkins - Christopher "Big Black" Boykin.

Ring Announcer & Reporter, Debbie Dunn - Danyelle Sargent.

Play By Play Commentator, Jimmy Evans - Will Reeve.

Color Commentator, Clarence Watts - Jake "The Snake" Roberts

Head of Referees, Buddy Freeman - Mills Lane (why not?)

BELTS
^^^^^^^^^

(I mention "star wrestlers" which is confusing until right after this section where I explain the "ratings system")

TCW Premier Championship - The greatest wrestler in the company wears this belt! This title must be defended/decided at least ONCE per every 31 days. 4 and 5 star wrestlers can compete for this title.

TCW Federation Championship - All eyes are on the gold at all times! This title must be defended must be defended THREE TIMES per every 31 days. 3 to 5 star wrestlers can compete for this title.

TCW Fandom Championship - This is a specialty title where every match for this title will be an innovative specialty match! Best of all, it's decided on by the fans! This belt must be defended/decided THREE TIMES per 31 days. 2 to 5 star wrestlers can compete for this title.

7. RATINGS SYSTEM
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Ratings System: I'll be using a "Ratings System" which is rather simple but creates a little more excitement.

Before I start, here's the ratings guide:

* (OOC) You are inactive or on a hiatus.
(IC) Injury/Termination Notice.

** (OOC) Unless you fit a category from above, you won't go under a ** rating. It means you're not in a feud and your character's development is in progress, or, you need to work on your overall quality. 2 stars is still eligible for a championship, by the way. (IC) New Wrestler getting their "feet wet" or a wrestler getting beat alot but showing great effort and promise.

*** (OOC) You're doing enough and you're winning some. You are eligible to compete for 2 titles. (IC) Wrestler on the rise, wrestler that shows promise or a title holder even.

**** (OOC) Now just a step above the rest or came to the Fed with a history of winning. You're in the thick of things, eligible for all titles. (IC) Star.

***** (OOC) I love you. (IC) Superstar!!!

If your wrestler has a rating of ** or less, he CANNOT:

- Cut an in-ring promo.
- Cannot start a new feud via on-card angle/segment/promo unless it directly relates to a title shot. Remember, the ratings can change every week.

If your wrestler has a 3*** rating, he CANNOT:

- Challenge for the Main Title.
- Start a feud with a 5 Star guy via on card angle/segment/promo unless a storyline has been established

How does the Out of Ratings System work OOC? When I send you the "OOC Packets", I'll have a roster update and next to your wrestler's name will be 1 to 5 * stars (technically asterisks), 1 being the worse rating, 5 being the best rating. Based on the stars by your wrestler's name, that's what "Championship Bracket" or "division" you're in, basically.

Don't panic, ratings can change by any amount every single week, especially after Pay Per Views. I'll also note that you'd just have to be a name on the roster to have one star next to your name. That's more "hiatus/injury" or you being inactive.

I base your rating on three main things:

1) Your Roleplay Performance. The quality of your roleplays are very important when deciding whether or not you win or lose, your roleplays will play a major role on your character's progression throughout the Fed.

2) Character Development: what are you doing with your character outside of role-playing? How is your character making a name for himself? Are his ratings going up?

3) That goes hand in hand with Participation/Handler Activity ... It's up to the handlers to help me in making this Fed great! Role-playing at least once a week, participating in storylines/angles. Match strategies are a good way to further progress your character's overall gimmick as well.

Of course some of it will also depend on ongoing storylines and other circumstances as well.

In-Character: Basically Power Rankings in the IC packet.

8. JOIN TCW
