I anticipated Lesnar & Bryan going this early, but I admit I'm surprised at Cena getting picked up so early. He's not on my radar for this but it's just kind of surprising, though it really shouldn't be.

The idea is that there are two ways to go about a fantasy draft in wrestling (which is one of the things that makes it fun).

One, you can try to draft a promotion that would draw money and be a real-world success. Two, you could try and draft a promotion that would be most pleasing to you personally, with your favorites. And people can go anywhere in-between by changing the standard on any given choice.

Even in that, there are variations. You can go "ideal world" where the real-world situations of the competitors are not factors, or you can take the real-world situations into account. In the real world, Lesnar is a huge risk because he can bolt from wrestling at any time and has a track record of not sticking to anything, while Bryan is an even bigger risk because of his health. But if you ignore those factors, they're both slam-dunk choices.

I'm going ideal world, and will make choices based on both drawing and preference. There are lots of guys I like better than Lesnar, but of the people who are super top draws (him and Cena) he is the one I like best.

I was in my car and for some reason thought I was holding the process up. So I'm going to book Cena gracefully going out to pasture.

Is this strictly US or is it open world wide? Not that I know anyone outside of the stuff on NJPW World, but it'll gimme a good reason to investigate.
Cole Hamels Fact #1685: The Devil went down to Georgia because he knew if he went to Philadelphia, Cole would strike his ass out.

As an aside, can we get our own subsection on the forum for this? I'm gonna start a draft list, so we can all look back and figure out when the appropriate time to take Cody Hall is.

I don't think there are any regional restrictions for this draft, I haven't heard of any at least.

Andy- to answer your questions:

1) Yes, it is worldwide. Not that I know very much NJPW or Lucha underground, but they are available.

2) I think Bren is the only one who can set up subsections

3) At 3:29PM, brylsis' turn will have expired. Overly Critical Jue will be able to pick at that point. When Brylsis comes back, he can pick for his team- but anyone selected will be off the table.

Which time zone, Mike?

Watching this, surprised that Reigns went before Ambrose.
Everything I learned about soccer, I learned from Dro.

You are to refer to Katie as "The Duchess of Der Basterdmusen" as of June 2014. She'll get angry if you don't. You've been warned.

Remind me not to invite new people into the draft. RonJoeWill took Sami- and Zayn was my #2 overall choice, period. Great worker, and even the snarkiest crowds love him.

Bummer, wish I had seen this before it was too late.

Nakamura would have been my #1, if available. And I hated the guy when he first appeared...
