‘Stargate SG-1’ shuts down

Let us know your favourite 'Stargate' moments and we’ll post them!

What's your favourite 'Stargate SG-1' moment? Let us know!

Like all good things, Stargate SG-1 is coming to an end.

After 10 seasons, the show that made TV history as the longest-running sci-fi series in North America (take THAT, X-Files) finishes its run this Thursday at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on Space, and we want you to help us celebrate.

Email us your favourite Stargate SG-1 moments, memories, cast members or guest stars, and we’ll post them on Thursday prior to the broadcast of “Unending,” the series finale.

Yes, yes fans, we know that there will be two direct-to-DVD movies – Continuum and The Ark of Truth – which will be broadcast next year, but this is it for new TV episodes, time travellers.

In “Unending,” the Asgard learn that they, as a race, are dying, and decide to instill their allies, the SG-1 team, with the knowledge, technology and history. Of course, this doesn’t come off without a hitch – when does it ever? – and one possible version of the future is revealed.

Send us your SG-1 thoughts at greg@tvguide.ca and look for your comments this Thursday!
