KOEI Warriors Code of Law

1.) No porn allowed on the forum. Somewhat revealing pictures are ok, but sexual organs (vagina, clitoris, penis, testes and so forth) are not. Bare nipples or nipples shown through clothing are not allowed, and the staff may feel free to remove a picture they find offensive or against the rules.

2.) Minor Obscenities (related to skin-revealing pictures, but also includes mild cartoon-like violence) are allowed, but place a good warning in the topic title if you intend to post obscenities in a thread. Don't go overboard on obscenities.

3.) Cussing is allowed to an extent. Only light swear words (specifically hell, damn, dammit and any variants of those words like hella, etc.) are allowed within topic titles. Other words like f-u-c-k, d-i-c-k, m-o-t-h-e-r-f-u-c-k-e-r, c-u-n-t, a-s-s-h-o-l-e, whore and any racial slur is taking it too far. Some of those words, though not permissible in topic titles, are allowed to an extent in posts, so long as they are used moderately. If used in posts however, they must be censored in some way (example: you cannot say f-u-c-k but you can say eff, wtf and f*ck). Those words also cannot be used as insults against any other members of the Koei Warriors community and if they are posted uncensored in the forum, the forum's filter will bleep them.

4.) Flaming is defined as insulting or cursing at a specific member of a forum directly. Examples include: “You are a flaming asshole (insert member name here)” or “F-U-C-K you (insert member name here).” Flaming is an offense that merits a warning in most cases and often times may even be legitimate reason for a ban. There are exceptions to the rule though. These are: A.) If you flame in character in a role-playing game & B.) If you flame in response to somebody else’s flaming (this is looked down upon but is not warn-able because you cannot be held responsible if you were insulted first. It is encouraged that you speak to a moderator if you are flamed at rather than flaming back though, and if you continually 'enflame' a topic by responding to somebody else's flaming, you may be warned).

5.) Stay on topic, but a few off-topic posts here and there are allowed. Just make sure that they, in some way, are related to the board that you are posting in. If a moderator asks you to stay on topic, please listen to him/her. If a member spams the same topic, though posting the same thing that is relevant is also classed as spamming, thus the same actions should be taken.

6.) If you make a new thread in a board, please make sure that this topic pertains to the topic of the board. Do not post things irrelevant to the board. Example: Do not post a thread on "Do you like Zhen Ji" in the Samurai Warriors board. Duplicate topics will be locked and deleted. As a final note, make topic names clear and concise. Topics with vague names will be renamed by the staff…

7.) Spamming is not allowed in all of the boards of the forum excluding the fun area. Spamming includes all of the following things: 1.) Posting small replies that don’t contribute much to a discussion (such as “I agree” or “No” or “Shut up”), 2.) Going off-topic & 3.) Using chat-speak and/or slang in posts (chat speak is when you abbreviate things and use bad spelling and grammar; this and slang are not allowed because not all members understand either chat speak or slang). What defines spamming, exactly, can be interpreted by a moderator. Generally speaking though, if you make your replies detailed and on-topic, you will not be considered to be spamming.

8.) Please do not double post in the forum. Double posting is allowed only if one or both of the following conditions are met:

-You are double posting because you are posting a message so long that it exceeds the number of letters you can fit in a post.

OR

-You are making an announcement.

8.) Extreme vulgarity (decapitated heads, excessive gore, gross depictions of torture, etc) are not allowed under any circumstance anywhere.

9.) Racial slurs, homophobic or anti-gay remarks, anti-Semitic jabs, sexist comments (meaning comments that literally state females or males are the inferior gender) as well as any post that discriminate based on appearance or body size are not allowed. Full stop here. Anybody who makes a statement against somebody because of their race or what-not will be punished based on the severity of their remarks.

10.) The maximum signature image size is 450x150. Only ONE image or few lines of sentences with no ANIMATED GIF, VIDEO and MUSIC! (These will be removed instantly, without warning).

11.) Private Messaging is a privilege granted to members of a forum. If one uses private messaging to harass other members, they may get their ability to send or receive private messages revoked, and possibly they may also be given a warning.

12.) Avatars must be 120x120 pixels or below. Animated avatars are allowed unless more than 5 members complain that people’s animated avatars are causing lag.

13.) A link leading to downloads of illegal roms and emulators will be deleted and the member who posted it will be possibly punished by the moderators. Links leading to any illegal thing, for that matter, will be similar deleted and the members warned. Such things are not allowed on the forum.

14.) When debating religion or beliefs, be respectful of other members' viewpoints. Do not curse them out for their ideas, but try to advocate your own in a peaceful way. The staff reserves the right to lock topics regarding religion if they get out of hand, which they often, as a matter of fact, do.

15.) Advertisements for pornography will be deleted and actions against members who posted the porn will be taken.

16) Anything not specifically listed in the rules that is agreed to be common sense can be reason for a warning if a mod specifically tells you not to do it. Insurance that we won't have to amend the rules for every silly instance where anything else that is deemed stupid, immature, etc. that certain members choose to do and cry "you can't do anything to me, it's not in the rules!

Lastly, the staff is given the following rights in regards to the rules:

A.) They can issue pretty much any punishment for the breaking of any rule. If somebody is spamming up the board or is severely flaming at other members from the get-go, a moderator can ban that person if the moderator desires to. The moderators furthermore reserve the right to interpret each individual case differently.

B.) The Staff reserves the right to add new rules, amend rules, etc. at any time. A thread will be opened up in the Staff Board and possibly the support board on the subject of whether the staff should alter the rules.

Please follow and observe these rules. Failure to do so will result in the following counter-measures of each rule.
