TURN 1

EAST

Shingen Takeda has his army take various formations and has them all march towards the City. It will take him another turn to reach the city eastern wall.

Ina also has her Army march towards the City. She too will reach it in 2 turns.

WEST

Katsuie takes up a formation as well and marches south.

Kojiro has his unit split and take 2 different routes towards the City. His foot troops take a more perilous route but due to carefulness and luck, lose no one on the trip. His mounted troops take a safer route and end up 1 square east of his Foot troops.

Miyamoto splits his troops as well. He sends a portion of his Infantry, all of his Cavalry, and 100 Samurai towards the City. They will reach it in 2 more turns. The rest of his troops pursue something else. It will take some time for them to reach said target.

Actually you've had at least 2 opportunities to keep Miyamoto and you failed to do so on both counts:

Once here: http://s7.zetaboards.com/KOEI_Warriors_Online/topic/717828/7/

and again here: http://s7.zetaboards.com/KOEI_Warriors_Online/topic/8210814/1/

When I first took over running this game from TD, I posted a message in the Sign up thread stating that I was doing a roll call to see who is ACTIVE and who was not. During the course of 3 days, you apparently were so active in this game (activity in other parts of the forum does not make you active in this game) you failed to notice. You didn't reclaim, so you lost him. Then during the final Roll call you had another opportunity to get Miyamoto back. You didn't post until days after he was taken by another player. I posted each time you tried to claim him stating that you had lost him. Whether you couldn't read it or understand it is not my concern but you lost your character and that is all there is to say. If you want to keep your character, try being active in the game somewhere so that others know that you're still playing. You were not the only person to lose your character during this time but had you been active enough to notice things that were occurring in this game, perhaps you would still be Miyamoto.

From the 5th to the 9th I was away on a vacation.

Plus, I never look at the sign up thread because it doesn't really matter to me who is playing who.

Maybe next time when you're gonna boot people from their characters, you'll wanna make a thread stating it instead of adding it to a thread that doesn't have anything to do with it.

TURN 3

MAP

EAST

Shingen Has 500 Infantry move to perform a secret task as the rest of his unit moves north to circle around the castle. Before doing so however, he sends small scout parties in front and behind his unit. Shortly later his forward scouts report back saying they see an army approaching from the north. He continues anyways and engages them. It is Katsuie's unit. Shingen whose Archers were in the rear of his formation fire on Katsuie's front, killing quite a few. His Cavalry then meets Katsuie's head on. Shingen's Archers in turn are hit by Katsuie's Archers from both the main formation and the group on the City walls. Once both sides have fired their arrows, Shingen's and Katsuie's Infantry move in and a general melee begins.

Ina continues on towards the south gate while sending a small group of troops to slow down Miyamoto's pursuing unit. However they unit was much too small and after a brief melee, are defeated. Also sends a small group of Horsemen to try and prevent anyone from reaching the south gate, however that group is defeat as quickly by the combination of Miyamoto's and Kojiro's units. Her main force arrives and engages the enemy troops by the south gate.

WEST

Katsuie has his Army do something interesting. He has the bulk of his Army change from heading to the North gate, to moving towards The east gate. His unit prepared to engage any enemies that they encounter. He then has 200 Archers move straight to the North gate. The encounter the same issue the others have but unlike anyone else so far, they simply push the gate and it opens. The gates were closed but not locked. His men immediately enter the gate and close it move up to the walls. They then prepare to aid their comrades on the ground. As he sees the Takeda unit, he shouts out to his men " FOR OUR LORD NOBUNAGA ODA!!!!. His men, with an increase of spirit (morale increase) they attack.

Kojiro leaves 100 Infantry at the west gate to try and figure out how to open the gate as the rest of his unit moves towards the south gate. He also activates his skill "Nodachi Master". he attempts to have 100 men enter the south gate but Ina's arrival puts a halt to it. Together with his ally, they both attack her unit. Both sides receive losses. Meanwhile at the West gate. As the other Infantry were searching the gate for a way in, a lazy soldier leans his back against the gate itself. He suddenly falls back as the gate easily opens. Apparently the gate wasn't locked. After being laughed at by his comrades, they all enter the west gate and wait for further orders.

Miyamoto has his one unit continue to the South gate while his other group moves to attack Ina, who has been his target for a while now. Unfortunately for him, she had been expecting it and sent a small Cavalry unit to delay them. The pursuit unit easily dispatches the small group and heads for the main unit but it was already engaged with Ina's main unit who was headed for south gate as well.

TURN 4

WEST

Katsuie continues his battle with Shingen Takeda. From the his position, he continues giving orders. He has his Cavalry and Warhorses mainting their current positions while his Infantry continue to push into Takeda's lines. Meanwhile his Archers not within the Castle fire on the middle to rear of Takeda's lines, inflicting more damage. The Archers on the walls however, set their arrows alight and have them fire into the rear of Takeda's lines. He fails to hit his main target, however they do hit something else. Takeda's personal guard of Cavalry suffer casualties. Katsuie himself from while fighting continues to encourage his men by informing them that they have the Castle. The good news helps keep his men going as they continue fighting.

Kojiro has his main force continue attacking viciously. He himself enters the fray cutting down men left and right. The sight of their leader boosts the men's spirits while reducing the morale of Ina's group. Meanwhile, his men inside the castle move as quickly as possible to the East and south gate. They lock the south gate while opening the south gate slightly. Kojiro has his Archers along with some Cavalry move to the south gate. They reach the gate just as she does, his men fire on her escort and wipes them out. Without orders to kill her personally, they keep their sights on her. With 20 Infantry infront of her (inside the castle) and a large group of troops next to her, things do not look very good for the Princess.

Miyamoto together with Kojiro's unit keep fighting and thanks to his skill "Nitenichi style". They manage to finish off her army. He then has his Archers move up to the South wall but on their way there, they find Ina herself alone. With orders to kill Ina, they fire as many arrows into her as they can. INA HAS BEEN KILLED. The death of Ina increases the morale of all Western units while lowering the morale of all eastern units.

EAST

Shingen begins this turn by ordering his 500 Infantry back to the south gate to do as they were ordered but that was suicide by this point (they never started the tactic as there were people fighting at the location bro). The 500 Infantry encounter a group of Cavalry from Kojiro and after a tough fight, manage to kill them but when they reach the south gate, they are wiped out by the rest of the Western army. Meanwhile his Infantry continue pushing forward. They try to change formation but since they were already in battle with Katsuie's Infantry, it only confused them and disorganized them. Shingen's Archers split targets and some fire on Katsuie's front line while others fire on the enemy Archers. Shingen's Cavalry pull back and reform ranks at Takeda's location. This unfortunately doesn't help as their location comes under fire from Katsuie's Archers. As a last ditch move, Shingen has his Warhorse and Riflemen circle around and perform a sneak attack on Katsuie's Archers. It does wok to some degree as they manage to inflict some casualties to the Archers but their limited numbers don't do enough to kill all of them.

Ina tries desperately to encourage her men through speech, but due to them being heavily outnumbered at this point and on the verge of collapse it doesn't work. She then tries to take a few of her men and pull into the south gate as the rest of her unit fights on behind them. She tries to reach the gate but runs into a group of troops from Kojiro. She watches in horror as he unit is wiped out by Kojiro's troops at the wall. She now stands alone before the south gate. What will become of her? Well that question is answered soon enough as she suddenly feels the impact of dozens or arrows into her back. Caught completely off guard, she is dead before she hits the ground.

TURN 5

EAST

Shingen Takeda along with some of his Cavalry decide to enter the fray as well in order to try and finish Katsuie Shibata. Much of his forces are defeated bit by bit (Warhorses and Riflemen by Katsuie's Archers). As he pushes on, his men fall one by one. Just as he finally spots his enemy and moves to strike at him, Shingen Takeda (along with many troops around him) is hit by arrows fired by both Kojiro and Miyamoto. Shingen himself takes an arrow to his face. The force of the blow knocks him off of his horse and onto the ground. Before any of his troops can get to the wounded General, Katsuie's men get to him and finish what the arrow started. The few men left of the Takeda army witness the event and are completely disheartened. They try to flee but are all either cut down or shot by arrows. The Takeda army at Fushimi castle are wiped out.

WEST

Katsuie Continues the assault on Shingen Takeda. He also activates his skill Oni Shibata. He attempts to have his unit perform various actions and on the most part they are successful. He orders his Archers to fire on the Riflemen and Warhorses that attacked them previously and wipe them out. Meanwhile the rest of his troops fight in the melee. After several turns of looking for him, Katsuie finally spots Shingen himself and he is headed directly for the Oda General. Just as they prepare to cross weapons, both sides are suddenly hit with Arrows. It seemed that one of Katsuie's allies (Miyamoto) failed to take into account that his ally and Shingen's army were engaged and fired without taking precautions to avoid hitting his ally. Though Katsuie is hit by an arrow, his opponent suffers more as Shingen takes an arrow to the face. Shingen falls off his horse and before any Takeda troops are able to reach him, Katsuie's own troops finish the job. SHINGEN TAKEDA HAS BEEN KILLED

Kojiro orders his men to move into the castle with the remains of Ina with them. While the non ranged troops of his army remain in the center of the City, his Archers move up the north wall where Katsuie's small group is and they also attack Shingen's unit.

Miyamoto orders his forces to hunt down and kill Shingen Takeda, the last of the Eastern Generals. His entire army marches north through the City and exit out of the north gate. His melee troops are too far away to directly engage Takeda but his Ranged units don't have that issue. They all hone in on Takeda's Army and fire. They do heavy damage to the unit.

Sure next time we will be victories.
Ina
"Castle Defender" If Ina can use this skill to insure that no enemy troops can overrun any structures that she is defending for 3 turns.

Damage done to the evil shaped one, too massive to compare.
Balmung of the Azure Sky, Orca of the Azure Sea, together they gallop at full speed.
In the depth of my bosom, your names shall remain.
You are none other than the descendants of Fianna.
