Well he was blindsided so perhaps he thinks he can manipulate the vote once more. I'm sure he had a good reason for it.

The vote was apparantely Orc, but he played the ring, so he was immune. Then it was supposed to be Witch King, but lo and behold, Smeagol was voted out! :( :( :(

Smeagol's logic in returning to Mordor was we really had no idea what the dynamics were on either of your tribes, and we didn't want to risk being outnumbered with no chance to save ourselves, outside of whichever one of you was with us (which in our minds may reveal our secret fellowship). The vote wasn't unanimous for Smeagol to go, so we felt we may have a chance to get ourselves back in an okay position in Mordor. Had we seen this thread, maybe we would have done something differently.

Smeagol's next plan is to use our ring, because unfortunately Smeagol may very well need it, having already been voted into the Arena! If we survive long term in this game Smeagol says Mordor can die and we do what we can to vanquish them. Except throwing the precious in a volcano, we can't do that, no.
If Gollum does not win, this game will no longer mean anything.

If it would be necessary for your ensured survival, Smeagol, I feel Elrond and I would both understand. I do hope that you end up being successful in being able to, now that the Gaga has played the ring this past round, it can be voted for successfully now.

What typo? The Gaga played a ring in Mordor and couldn't be voted for, and the Orc is the game's host.

Yes, perhaps Orc will go now that he is no longer immune.

Frodo, did you see the updated Council rules about pre-playing the Ring? Saruman may need to pre-play his, ensuring Aragorn doesn't get a chance to use it. If Aragorn is going to be the target, that is.

I have indeed seen that. And as Saruman made mentions of leaving pre-votes, I feel he has indeed pre-played the ring. If he has not and he is not here, then he will surely be the vote. However, if he pre-played the ring, things may be much trickier.

Elrond, was no one sent to the caves from Rivendell this round?

No, I was sent there again. And again, I uncovered a rock that had a dud item. With my 0 for 2 luck I wonder if Pippin received anything.

No one has been on to talk to me since I came out of the Caves... I hope that the plan from before is still in motion and I have not been targeted.

Do keep us updated, Lord Elrond. Tonight might be highly interesting for all of us depending on rings played and circumstances that arise. The Shire has no less than 5 different potential targets depending on what might happen, and I'm afraid to say that this is by no means an exaggeration.

Wow, sounds crazy. Everyone tells Smeagol that Orc is the target tonight, but Smeagol is still quite nervous about our standing in the Mordor tribe (we have good reason to after last night!). Hopefully thingses work out okay for Smeagol, and all of us here, tonight, yes. :gollum

Another in the Shire was told by their secret partner that Gaga was indeed being looked at as the correct target, and also expressed frustration at Gaga's playing of the ring last night, thus disrupting the easy vote. So it seems you should hopefully be well provided Gaga does not win immunity outright!
