Megaman EXE RPG NEWS AND EVENTS

The final round of the RockSteady Tournament has concluded by default! The winner is by a TKO! The match will continue behind the scenes to its conclusion, but in the meantime, we will be holding the closing ceremonies and doling out prizes assuming the match's predetermined end. With the tournament finally concluded, we will be performing a site update at some point next week, after which we may finally get a little storyplot going to keep all of you busy!

As you all may know, Summer is fast approaching! Summer has traditionally been a time for members old and new to flood into the site, free from the iron chains of school. As such, we're hoping for an increase in overall site activity, which will hopefully make it easier for the rest of you to join in and have fun. For those of you who are new, or returning from a long hiatus, be sure to read the Rules thoroughly before creating your profile.

We are STILL accepting suggestions regarding new purchasables for the site. This can range from new BattleChips, to additional battle support, to anything else you can think of that people could sink their hard-earned Zenny into. We failed to end this issue last year, so hopefully we can at least get it done this year. We need your input!

Last but not least, we are also accepting applications for new Staff Members on the site! The place needs a bit of cleaning up, not to mention some extra hands to keep up with the many odd jobs on the site, such as GM duty and Profile Approvals. All those interested in a position may send a Personal Message to myself, Infiniti, or any other member listed on the Staff List. On that note, please give a warm welcome to TDG, the newest addition to our humble little band of misfits.

Thanks for keeping the board kicking for another half-year! Let's keep at it!

Regular Forum RockSteady Tournament Building
An exquisite structure situated in the center of a moderately-sized island off of the coast of Netopia, this is the site of the first tournament hosted by RockSteady Technology International! A test of mettle and wit for Operator and Navi rages on inside, the entire world's eyes on them whether from the safety of their own homes or in the large building itself.

Remember folks, Operator interaction is encouraged just as much as Navi interaction. This isn't just a 'beat everyone else up' competition, have fun and make some friends... or enemies. Your choice.

SciLab is a huge complex that employs many of the top level scientists in Electopia and is equipped with the latest in cutting edge technology. Many technological advancements the world knows were spawned there, like the NetNavis and PETs. There are, however, some projects which ended up becoming dangerous, such as Alpha and Bass. It is also home to the mother computer for Electopia. The complex has been attacked many times in attempts to sabotage the Net and steal technology. Since the Alpha Incident, it has been working independently of the government as its own privatized company.

Having been more or less abandoned for years, Oran Island was perhaps one of the least-touched parts of the world by the Alpha Incident, only having one real connection to the Net that could be affected. Heavily mined for years prior, Oran Island is visited by the rare person on occasion as vacation, ordinarily. Half of the island is comprised of the old mining ways above and underground that were built on it in the past, and the rest of it is beach. They say the fishing's pretty good here...

Regular Forum End City
More or less the cultural hub of Electopia, End City is built upon the foundation of the country's ancient history, a tribute to its mystical culture of long ago. Much of the city looks ancient but is in reality rather new, various methods being employed to 'age' the location's architecture so as to look authentic. The one thing that has always been in End City ever since the beginning, however, is the towering Gargoyle Castle, named as such for the many gargoyle statues looking out on the city on the castle's roof. Inside is a collection of ancient Electopian history, replete with ancient armor and weapons, cultural decorations, and the like. Additionally, Gargoyle Castle has been upgraded over the years, acting as the computer security of End City's internet.

A popular tourist spot in Electopia, Yoka isn't a particularly large town but it is quite popular for its zoo and the famous Yoka Inn, which houses their legendary hot springs. At one time, the Undernet's servers were housed somewhere here in Yoka... but of course, they say that isn't the case anymore.

Capital city of Electopia, Elec City is, in comparison to much of the rest of the country, quite modern, and filled with things to make its namesake: electronics. From common household appliances to computers, the newest PETs, Battle Chips; you name it, it's here. An old purple tower looks over the rest of the city, run down but still standing strong. With a large speaker built into it, the tower is occasionally used for city-wide announcements. Off to the side is Beach Street... which perhaps isn't so much of a street as it is almost a small town in itself, famous for its Seaside Hospital and being the home of the DNN production studios, one of the most popular TV networks in Electopia.

Regular Forum Cyber City
Not even a city, Cyber City is the most oddly-named place in Electopia. Instead, it actually is made of four different cities to the north, south, east and west. Each of them are famous for various reasons and have their own fields of study that they focus on. Though it holds itself to a high standard of progress, after the Alpha Incident, Cyber City collapsed into a state of complete chaos, perhaps taking it worse than most of the world. While its education is sound, as a place to live Cyber City has become a lot less desirable to be.

Often joked as a rather dreary place to be, Kingland is often anything but that... except in the winter and fall seasons, but hey.
