I quite agree with CMA on this subject and I want to point out another undying pokemon thing. The cards, I mean come on how many people actually buy them any more. Most likely the people who think the show is cool which means little kids |

WOW! I just finished my gym battle in Cinnabar Island and Bill took me on a speed boat to the Sevii Islands, islands One - Three were open to me. I had this whole adventure and it was awesome. The Sevii islands totally make this game worth buying |

Well, no matter how hard you train, Mewtwo will ALWAYS be the strongest if raised. That's his whole purpose. *flashes old Red version* I traded for 6 Mewtwos and raised them myself (without rare candy) and when they were at their max, I taught them all Hyper Beam and Metronome (yes, I DID use missingno. on them, so sue me) and I maxed them out on vitamins. Long story short; Hyper Beam, you're dead, switch to another. No one has EVER survived Mewtwo's hyper beam, and I used to battle my friend's battalion of level 100'ers all the time. Not even once. Cheap...yes. Effective...HELL'S YEAH! But I also have many more level 100'ers besides Mewtwo that I raised with care. My Charizard, Dragonite, Sandslash (I named him Assassin, because most of his attacks are once hit kills when he uses them), and Flareon (I wub fire Pokemon). Others are in the nineties, including my Mr. Mime, Pigeot, Gengar, and Alakazam. I don't have too many on my Pokedex, because I only caught ones I'd use. That's the fun of it, though. The old games are good. I'm guessing the remake is good too. However, it HAS indeed died. Now, the anime was okay at first, BUT...they strayed away from the goodness. The movies...the first and second were great, but GOD DAMNIT! THEY KILLED THE REST! They make far too many. To top it off, Ash's new voice actor sounds like a little bitch, and yes I know it's Luffy. |

I always follow a certain format when creating my Pokemon team whenever possible. 1 Fire 1 Water 1 Grass 1 Electric 1 Psychic 1 Dark And if possible, I try to mix in as many other types that include HM abilities as possible. In my Yellow version, I had in the end: Pikachu Charizard Blastoise Venusaur Mewtwo Dragonite In my Crystal version, I had in the end: Typhlosion Shining Gyarados Jumpluff Raikou Lugia Umbreon In my Ruby version, I had in the end: Blaziken Swampert (A friend of mine gave me a Mudkip egg. He actually got a female Mudkip) Breloom Gardevoir Manectric Rayquaza (substitutable out for Mightyena) |

True....In Super Smash Bros, my best fighter is Mewtwo. He is easy to maneuver. But If I had to limit my team and take out every legendary... I have these: Blue: Venusaur Jolteon Gyarados Flareon Kadabra (I prefer him to stay like his form) Dugtrio |

Normally I do have legendaries but I want this game to be different. Besides, the best part about Fire Red and Leaf Green is that you can have your pokemon dream team since you have EVERY POKEMON available to you. That is why I am making my dream team as heavy hitters. My teams usually are balanced but I try to keep them with high power and versatility in mind. That is why my dream team is Charizard, Dragonite, Aggron, Salamence, Tyranitar, and Gyarados. This team has a high level of power and the dragons have high versatility in HM and TM learning ability. Besides, Dragon pokemon tend to be the most powerful, as do dragon attacks. |

As you can tell from my teams, I like to keep a wide array of different attributes so I can cover as many elemental weaknesses as possible. |

I just remembered that I am planning on making a true Pokemon RPG site soon. I have some system ideas in mind, including a home town system where certain towns have varying starters. |

Partially on topic, has anyone ever noticed how all the Pokemon movies have been about Psychic Pokemon? Movie 1: Mewtwo & Mew Movie 2: Lugia Movie 3: Unown Movie 4: Celebi Movie 5: Latios & Latias Movie 6: Jirachi Movie 7: Deoxys |

not until now but yes I see it. I suppose it is because psychics are considered one of the more powerful types The strongest types of attacks ARE Dragon, Ghost, and Psychic after all |

Or maybe it's because ALL of the "extra" Pokemon (Mew, Deoxys, Jirachi) have all been Psychic types. Also, you notice that the movie Pokemon NEVER appear in the show (except for Mewtwo and Lugia), but I'm sure everyone already knows that. |

I thought so, too. It was the only one that actually got a PG rating in the US. |

Oh no.
![]()
|
That's probaly because Psychic pokemon are the most....unique of the pokemon series. All of the other types are variations of what has been done previously, other than dragon, but Psychic is the only true "Original" type of the pokemon series, which gives them alot of room to expand on. Speaking of which, wasn't Movie 3 more of like, Entei based? |
