Well there are two solutions: 1) Google think that you have no talent and they don't want people getting sick watching your AMVs or 2) They're just a bunch of *******. I choose the later. |

As my friend explained it's cause Japanese TV is payable, thus Youtube grants access to TV shows Japanese kids wouldn't normally have access too, so they bitch Youtube's administrators to remove and ban us cause THEIR population gains stuff in the process. Cheap eh? So the moment an AMV is deleted you'd better remove all other anime related stuff quick. |

Dear lord...AMZ, I feel really bad for you. I really liked your AMVs, too! Grr... I SAY WE GO STRAIGHT TO THE SOURCE!!! LET'S BURN DOWN GOOGLE! BOYCOTT YOU TUBE...crap...I'm watching Naruto too...ahem, AND MOST OF ALL, LET'S HAVE MULTIPLE PEOPLE EMAIL THE YOUTUBE HEADS!!! This truly isn't a violation of any laws. What on earth is going on?!? I mean, it's a f*cking AMV! What's next? They gonna remove all 200 or so episodes of Naruto and only allow the American version?!? |

Next thing you know anime conventions will be outlawed because they have AMV contests. |

yeah that is f***ed up. I mean if they start deleting Naruto stuff, then they will have crossed the line. Especially sice i love the Naruto abriged series. But on the other hand, they could take action if you keep sending them countless e-mails about this topic. All I have to say for AMZ is make a new account and try a diiferent type of AMV(maybe you have done different ones. but I've only seen you make megaman based ones). Or...you can carry out the course of action AZ suggested. |

Actually, there's nothing you can do about it. It's in the user agreement you accept when you join YouTube; your ability to post videos on their site is a privedge, not a right, a it's a priveledge that YouTube has the ability to revoke at anytime, whether there's a particular reason or not. Hell, if they wanted to, they could take down every video with the work "purple" in the title, just for the heck of it, and nobody could say boo about it. AMV's themselves are not illegal, but YouTube can choose to take them down. Doesn't make it right, just makes it legal. |

Then it's their choice, and not enforced. Therefore it's a right to protest. I say we all email the bastards! |

The point is, AMZ agreed to those terms when he made his account. Whether or not he AGREED is another story, but he legally accepted them, and thus, no real right to protest. |

If you want to waste time. Seriously AMZ, we know your stuff is good. Just load somewhere else, we won't think anything of it. |

However, because no one likes their choice, it's a 'privilege' to protest....or at least send them a shitload of hate mail. :D |

*Steps in with a mockery knowledge of IP laws.* Alright, here's my take. Youtube had 100% right to do what they did. Fucked up to hell and back, yes, but 100% legal. Right now, Youtube, and it's owner, Google, are under a shitload of fire due to the fact that heavy amounts of anime episodes are being viewed through youtube, costing companies money. So, they're suing Youtube and Google. Doesn't matter if the AMV isn't netting anyone any money, but the material used in it is all owned intellectually by the companies, so they end up losing money there indirectly. Protest all you want, but you'll find that the rulings behind the IP laws will completely support the company in this, as they have the final say on whether they will allow their stuff on sites such as Youtube. Protesting is worthless, spamming em with hatemail is worthless. |
