Bored of life. Or life got bored of me. Meh.

Right, I'll get straight to the point. I've been using The Core Media Player for a while now because it can play virtually anything and that includes my anime episodes. Suddenly though, it stopped working for my anime and a window pops up saying this.

> The Core Media Player 4.x root loaded...OK
> Loading Audio Input CDL: APE Decoder 0.7 (MAC v3.99)
> Loading Audio Input CDL: FLAC Decoder 0.6
> Loading Audio Input CDL: ModPlug MOD Decoder 0.1

I feel for you and your grave loss...however, it will be impossible for me to help.

Please get where I'm going with this, for the love of Bob.

They're taking the hobbits to Florida!

sounds like you lost a plug-in or something. Have you tried unistalling and re-installing it?

BAKA DESU!!!!

Let's see...

Looks like PLayer itself is busted a bit... the 'broken Part lies somewhere within this:

Code:

> Core: Init COM Interface...
> Core: Creating DirectShow graph...
> Core: Querying Interfaces...
> Core: Adding MPEG Layer-3 Decoder
> Core: RenderFile()...
> Core: RenderFile() rendering time: 16ms
> The source filter for this file could not be loaded.
> TCMP's Core can not render the file : C:\Documents and Settings\Christopher Liu\Desktop\Full Metal Panic\Second Raid\Full_Metal_Panic_TSR_01.mp4

I gon't qutie know what for a Problem the Core-Program got, but as easy as that, ever tried to de- and reinstall the Player? Maybe cleaning the Registry before reinstalling?

Maybe i can take acloser look on it after work...
If the reinstalling won't help, Your computers Properties could be useful.^^

//EDIT: Argh! Solar! XD

I have no clue what the problem is... but heck yes! Core Media Player owns. I never could get certain Mp4 or specific MKV encodes of some Anime Fansubs to play until I downloaded it :lol:

Wheelchair-roller-death, go! *rollrollroll*

I suggest trying VLCMediaPlayer. Just google VideoLan, it's the first link.

VLC works for EVERYTHING. I used it to watch Kiddy Grade in dual audio :D

Actually... Core Media Player even tops VLC. VLC was what I normally used for MKV files, but I've come across some stuff that Core will play that I can't get VLC to even after downloaded the right plugins.

Media Player Classic can also play the stuff. Although Core still rules it. HOWEVER, IT STOPPED WORKING FOR FULL METAL PANIC ONLY!!!! Q_Q

Oh no.

It's most probaly something to do with the video. Try downloading another one, maybe that'll work.
