Did anyone here use a Pertronics ignition? I was considering changing out my points distributor for better performance but not sure if I should go msd complete dist or try the Pertronics. They also make a whole distributor so maybe I should do that instead. Lots of opinion on the web, but looking for local car guy advice.

A friend of mine has a set of the original pertronix setup in a 69 firebird 350. So far, he's happy with the conversion.

I wanted to try pertronix in my small block but I got a good deal on MSD billet distributor. It works great and I've had no problems at all. Curved the advance for me and tuned the distributor to the engine cam and it pulls hard to the redline.

I went with the multi spark, the ignitor 3. Been on the market a few years now with no bad feedback and I have had no problems to report so far.
