I need to have some paint work on a 68 Camaro. Has anyone any advice or recommendations? It's a basic respray of the original marina blue with very minor ding smoothing at most.

I would try Bel Aire auto on 25A in Kings park. I have seen some of the work and they seem to know vintage autobody work. Lots of shops these days just dont want to tough the vintage cars and if they do they charge a crazy ammount of money.

Smithtown auto body is a local LI shop that has done well on my late model repair jobs. They said they can work on older cars and welcome work of partial stuff if you wanted to do some pre prep work. Talk to eddie when you go in.
