Love the Galaxie Mike, nice car. I recently drove past the house, saw it in the driveway and thought it might be a new addition. Good for you, can't have enough toys.

I have a fond place for the mid 60's full size Fords. I grew up riding in nothing but Ranch Wagons and Country Squires as a kid. Even took my road test on a 1968 Ranch Wagon. I'll always remember that car. My dad for some reason ordered it with the 302 2 barrel. As I used it as my first car after getting my license, I always wished it had a 390 4 barrel. Ha ha.

Good luck with this one, hope to see you crusing around the neighborhood with the top down this summer.

Thanks Guys. Its a cool car & I've already been offered more then I paid for it. Don't know if I'll get attahed or make a good decision keeping it.

So far, Galaxie parts for the "7Litre" specific are much more difficult to find then Mustang stuff so resto is a different experience for me. Thats kind of cool though. More like archeology hunting down right parts. Problem is the good stuff is pricy.
