OK, so I used a wallpaper at the largest screen resolution size and made it so it shouldn't look retarded upon repeating. |

That's the trouble when you use background images that have things that are supposed to line each side or otherwise look all nice. It'll look great on the resolution you designed it for, but will either leave people seeing only half the awesomeness (if they use a smaller resolution), or present people with nasty repeating which kills the original idea. It would be interesting to see a Skin Selector implemented. Not exactly so we could have five completely different skins, but supplying an alternative for some of the more popular resolution sizes so that the majority of people can see your nice symmetric design. :P (as now, I can see the splatter on the left, but it's nowhere in sight on the right.) Though it's not a must by any means. Whoever up there mentioned that the background worked as expected in IE was right. Loading this page in Internet Explorer results in the background image staying static, while it scrolls with the page in FireFox (don't ask me about Chrome, or another of those other browsers). Do you have the "background-attachment: fixed" property set in the BODY element of the CSS? If not, that should fix it for everyone... I think. I like the darker shade of red in the background too. You planning to alter the red in the logo and the Category bars, etc? Now if you would only bring the "Get New Post" feature back. You always remove it and I hate you for it. *wads up a piece of paper at throws it in Wight's direction.* Then again, I'm not exactly the audience you have to cater to, so... yeah... *goes back into hiding* |

Seems to work fine in Chrome as far as I can tell. Also my monitor's 19" widescreen and it all fits with no unsightly cutting. Nice work. |

Looks good! Also, if you stare at the skull and then shoot your eyes to the blacky-blackness, you'll see a red skull! Oooooh! Is Wight dropping subtle hints about a Captain America movie?! |

It's kinda supposed to be like that. The leftmost splatter is optional, I guess.
I do indeed. I'm not sure why it's not working.
Nope.
I don't even know what that is. |

Awesome, always good to hear you're going the right direction with someone. Of course, the past few weeks being the appetizer, now you get the main course. lol. No, but I do enjoy roleplaying as them. To be honest, I was a little iffy about bringing them in wondering if they would work in but I'm glad I brought Spectationill in. Really looking forward to producing even zanier Dexter schemes and who knows? Perhaps some alone time between Jamie and Susan? Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |
