Feedback's a bit short for the time being, expect a little more detail later. But the more you establish your characters and I get used to them, the more you're going to hear "par for the course" unless something exceptionally good or bad has occurred.

I think everyone who roleplayed did spectacularly, and the matches that didn't involve an Anon or a no-show were very hard to decide indeed (even the Anon ones were a little tough, so I dragged out some storyline crap to make my decision easier. :3) In the end, I felt Ghost would benefit more from the victory than the team of Vanilla Gorilla, and Oni's RP STRONGLY tipped the scales on what was an very even playing field. I'm honestly wholly impressed with everyone who put forth effort, and am looking forward to the weeks that follow.

Adam, I think you might fare a bit better in singles competition for a while, and if you don't come out on top in the eventual tag titles match (show after next, PPV), I was curious if you'd be interested in persuing that for a time instead of VG as a tag team. Get back to me with some thoughts either in this thread or via PM.

EDIT: The new bios will go up sometime tomorrow. Night if I can go to work, day if the roads are too awful.

Thots?

Ryder won. Yay. I still need to find a way to make him aloof without being boring.

Solo wrestling? Sounds fine to me... I'm just here to RP. But for the most part, I had always considered Vanilla Gorilla a part time tag team with Adam being the focal point and Brodie being the back up. I'm cool with going it solo so long as I don't have to break ties with Brodie being his corner man.

Beyond that, Ghost and Nicolette had chisled out a clean win this week. I suppose my last RP was something of a personal and desperate one... I do have mixed feelings about RPing against popular characters as it's always hard to get over as a relatively new character when you're facing off against someone who's a sturdy and celebrated veteran. How can you argue against success? But for the most part, Ghost and Nicolette did just a little bit more to earn this weeks win... this weeks! *shakes fist*

Interesting ending to mine. I enjoyed Nighty giving Anon a good punching, but what was with the 'now we're even' stuff?

Quick question about the Tag Title match, is that the belts that Rose had made for him and Billy, or new NGIW Tag Belts?

After Jose being the "odd man out" two weeks in a row in three-ways, it is nice to see him pick up a victory (and against two highly regarded competitors in NGIW). Wish I could say it was fun RP'ing against Dai & Poi but between my own busy schedule & their RPs focusing more so on Chester, it wasn't much to talk about really (though can't blame them entirely. If I had the choice between worrying about a big guy or a scrawny lil' guy, I'd probably worry about the former. And hopefully, there's a next time where we can do more with the three characters). Guess it's weird (and sad in regards to Jose & I) that Jose's own partner generated more inspiration inside the corner of my mind where Jose dwells. Match was a nice read for being what it was.

Few other quick thoughts is I'm surprised by VG's loss honestly, I thought it was pretty even and VG had a pretty good chance of walking away the winners. As well as Drake took the words right out of my mouth on the Ryder character (mostly because he actually did, seeing as that's what I told him when he asked for feedback). Though I may have used a word or two more to describe it. And, it's nice to see both e-feds within the "FIW-verse" for the first time in a while with strong tag team divisions (then again, I'm a mark for tag team wrestling in general).

And, the wheels on the bus go round & round, round & round.

"FIW-verse"

How'd you know it's not the NGIW-verse, and FIW merely exists within it? OoOoOoh.

Pleasently surprised with our win. Seemed pretty close RP wise to the point where it seemed like a tough call, and I don't think I would have been surprised (or even disappointed) if VG picked up the win. I did plan to get another RP up in reply to Adam's second but it didn't happen. Little Big Planet is surprisingly addictive.

Guess I better get working on those belts. I got a cool idea for the tag straps if I can make it work.

I had fun with the small back and forth that Dai and I managed to produce between Billy and Chester. I felt a little bad that both Rose and Jose weren't such a focus of that little exchange but with the type of character Chester is, if you aren't linked to the one thing he cares about, he doesn't care about you. Though, Oni and I DID discuss the awkward pairing that Chester and Jose actually were and an idea or two about how they'd regard one another in a meeting. Though, neither of us really seemed to have the time to catch up again to put anything together. Still, Oni did a good job with the position Jose was put in and I'm definitely thankful his RP was so good to help give us the victory. I really didn't think Chester had a chance this week against the Gang.

I'm pretty excited for next week's match. Can't wait for Chester and Adam to face off. I've already got a few ideas rolling around for this one.

*Shrugs* Everyone I have spoken to seems to have similar things to say about it really. Even I am lukewarm on his character.

Now the Anons are even. Even though they're not and red is still on top in terms of personal slights, but y'know how it is between Anon.

I really like how the H-City Gang and Jose mesh. The second I figure out a way for the three of them to work off one another, I'd love for them to feud. I think the potential there is limitless, and I think you're all on a pretty even playing field. If any of you have ideas on how that could happen, please get back to me. I'd love to see it.

Good observations. Adam has been falling only JUST short, and sometimes I even have to take into consideration who it will help/hurt more to decide the winner. I've had a hard time booking him to be honest; that's why I suggested the singles competition. It might keep the deck from being stacked against him from the get-go.

Actual tag-team titles. Our division is large enough for it. You're welcome to keep your custom straps as well, if you like.

FIW came first. NGIW just came harder.

http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0001.html I'm not sure how much this is up your alley, but pay strict attention to the character of Vaarsuvius and you should get the idea of how to be aloof and interesting. Also try the character of Balthier from Final Fantasy XII, Jack Sparrow (his ACTIONS not his MANNERISMS) from Pirates of the Carribean, Nathan Petrelli in Heroes, Proto Man from the Mega Man series, or even Angel in Buffy : The Vampire Slayer (NOT in the Angel series). There should be ample examples there, and Balthier from Final Fantasy XII in particular would be good, as the characters have similar senses of humor and dry wit.

Now that I'm logged in and can see...Oni, stop whoring your fed! lol.

Okay, onto the serious stuff. The get down dirty run of feedback. Unfortunately, I can't say I'm surprised that I got the V this week. I mean, if I lost, I would be more surprised than if I woke up with my head sewn to the carpet. That's a theory though I think we can keep at a hypothesis level. Though it was short, I mean comparatively to the Chester Wynn approach, it was still pretty good. I actually had to double check to see what Sensational was again. lol Shows how much I know about my own characters. Oh well, not the first time and certainly not the last.

As for next weeks card, looks good. though I foresee a possible run in by !!!. Then that's just me.

Party on,
Joe.
