I swear, between my off-again, off-again health and NGIW's images going down left and right I'm about ready to choke a bitch. Top it off with taxes and other bullshit (and copious amounts of playing Fallout 3, I won't lie) and here I am at 5:30 on an internet which is intermittently moving at the speed of cheese. Anyhow, extra special thanks to Lita who sent me all kinds of variations on her matches. Dai, I asked for two results as the stip to the extended deadline. IF you did up the rest of the match already go ahead and send them my way. IF not, no worries. Um, anyway... yeah. Kind of a wonky week, but the show is indeed on time. Just not as pretty as it should be. Then again, neither has NGIW been lately. Ah well. I'm working with photobucket now on the actual site images (most of them anyway) so that problem should disappear sooner than later. I imagine tomorrow. Card tomorrow. Thots tonight? Thots? |

Too used to getting the results first, then writing the matches. Ain't that just the way, I get tired of writing matches that are tightly scripted to hell, then when I near complete free reign to do anything. Would have liked at least one win this week, but that's what I get for waiting until the day of the deadline to post anything. Should have done something at the weekend, but I was doing matches for FIW. Bleh. |

So yeah, I wrote out full results for hide vs. Grant too. Funny, didn't send a single version to Wight. Ain't that messed up? So yeah, I put in the one that's supposed to exist, hope Wight doesn't mind me editing the show post to do that. So if Dai were wanting to read an actual match (well, kinda since it also kinda sucks, worst of the four matches I wrote, honestly) it's there now. Sorry bout that. |

Am I shocked that I lost? Given the elephant in the room here, to say anything but no would be a straight up lie! I would have liked to have won, but when you combine my shit-head efforts this week with the fact that I already have a number one contenders status to my name... you do the math. I will say though that Lita wrote, par normal, a grand match. The line Lesbiana jerks Adam off aroused more than a smile from me... ain't I classy? And I think it's a wonderful match for me to bow out on. Duty called this morning with travel orders, so as of the 20th of April I'm off and away to serve the military that Fox: Red-Eye loves so much. It'll be about a month before I'm able to come back to NGIW, but given what's happened this week, and perhaps given that I've stomped all over my own reputation in the eyes of many, it could be what the doctor's ordered. A public apology is due to Lita as I took indirect and unintended liberties with her character, but they were liberties none the less. It's an asshole thing to do, so I'll wear that. But what makes it all the more unfortunate is it happened in plain sight of folks I respect and admire, and my fear is that I've marred my reputation with the lot of you. It's not something that keeps me up at night, but I do get a shitty feeling when I think about it, so an apology is due to both Lita and all of you who have a right to expect more from me. That being said, some time with out me may serve as a respite from my obnoxious RP's and perhaps in time you'll welcome my return. That's it, that's all. Adam... out... |

Sorry the match isn't done yet, Wight. It will be soonish, I'm basically from the same school of though as Dai is on this where I am way too damn used to getting the results first. But, it'll be done soon and sent to you. |

No worries Adam. You're still all right in my book. The loss was mostly based on the less-than-NGIW-legal RP (counts as a powerplay or otherwise "ruining someone's fun") but you DID do some spectacular work this week. Work I was a little sore about having to make you lose over due to the infraction. But ah well. It's a wash in the end. Have fun on your trip and drink a few duty-free beers for me. |

I really enjoyed the read of the Ladder match. It wasn't overly spotty, which was nice to see, because even in NGIW each match doesn't need to be some big spotfest. I'm obviously happy to see that Jaime got the victory, wish Rose would have RPd for the match though, because it's never fun to see a no-show. Overall, good match. You make Grant/hide out to be worse than it is, I think. I'm just grateful you wrote it, and you know that. Interesting to see Chester out there. Hm. The Chester/Swytch aftermath really works for the heat between the two, though I must say I'm surprised at how dominant Grant was. I was expected Grant to get a couple barbed wire filled shots sent his way during the ordeal. Anyway, everything I read was good, so were the one liners :P |

The match wasn't bad. There was a lot less focus on the barbed wire glove thing than I expected, but it was full of violence elsewhere. I was a little surprised to see Swytch lose, but I guess the aftermath works better with Chester winning. |

I had a lot of fun writing most of the matches that I did. Admittedly, the lack of focus on the barbed wire gloves was my own lack of imagination. I didn't really know what to do with them other than to keep writing barbed wire punches and that would've felt boring to write. Plus, the whole Swytch asking Chester to come out and play made me feel like Chester had to bring more toys to the yard. And I just got this cute image of mini Swytch and mini Chester playing with trucks in a sandbox. Awww. I was also surprised to see Chester win the match, though I'm glad he did cause the post match (along with Grant's) was so fun to write. Grant vs. hide was easily the worst match I wrote. But it's always been a submission match. Yep, it has. I don't feel hide got a good showing in the loss version, same goes for Grant in his loss version. Apologies. All I can say is that I was mentally drained when I sat down to write it. Glad Grant won simply cause the post match fit so well with the post match of the main-event. Ken vs. Kenn wasn't much better, honestly. Don't really know what else to say about that one. Oh, Ken's intro is friggin' awesome. Now for the ladder match. I'll start by saying I had the most fun writing it. I just love writing Jaime Lee matches, I won't lie. Apologies if Jaime ever comes off getting too much action in the matches but she's definitely my favorite character to write in matches. It's part of the reason I keep her around. I tried to keep Rose from getting completely squashed but I didn't want to hurt the people that did RP at his expense, if that make sense. Not that Dan doesn't deserve to still have his character look good or anything. I particularly loved the Lesbiana/Wilson part at the close of the Jaime victory version. Something for Wiggum to play around with if he chooses so. Onto Adam and Adam alone. I'll start by saying Adam didn't ruin my fun and I don't have any problems with him at all. I like Adam, he's always been someone I could talk to about e-fed stuff. We had a small... I guess fight (though that's an overstatement of what really happened) where we didn't see eye to eye and that's that. Do I hate Adam now? Of course not. Was I annoyed? Yes, at the time and the time only. Would I be happy to see Adam return once his army duties come to a close? Absolutely. This is fully the reason I gave Adam such a good showing in the match (or at least I hope it portrayed the way I felt I wrote it). I thought me and Adam put the most effort into our RPs this week (regardless of anything else that came about in them) and I thought whether one of us won or not, Adam and Jaime should've looked the best. Though, I tried not to neglect Lesbiana at all since Wiggs did RP and it was a damn good one at that. Any chance on some RP feedback this week? Or at least why who won what matches? All I know is why Grant won against hide. |

*holds envelope to forehead* I preditct I shall do this on Wednesday or Thursday. I have kind of an effed-up work schedule at the beginning of this week, so despite the fact that I feel almost 100% better, I'm not gonna have a lot of time on ye olde interbutts. |
