Go on, do it. Props to Lits, Dai, and Joe for writing crap.

I'm not in the mood to go on a spiel, but this was hard week to pick winners. Take that as you will.

Thots?

I'm honestly surprised by Chester's victory. I really didn't expect Spade to drop the championship so soon but it was obvious that Boy seemed off in this week. The stuff he put out really didn't seem like Boy was really into it. Anxious of the rematch Wight has assured me should be around the corner. It's amazing that just a month or so ago I was plotting how to get rid of Chester and now I can't wait to see where I can take him.

The tag match I wrote was... what it was. I don't think it's even close to the caliber I've written before and hope it at least further the 4DD storyline for Wight and helped with any interest in the Grant/Jaime/Chester angle. Can't believe Grant and Jaime are moving towards Tag Team Contention with Jaime already holding the Flycore. That's awesome. Feel bad the Divas are out for the time being, I quite like the angle with Lilah and Rebekah. Definitely adds some interest to the Divas, whereas they were kind of lacking purpose outside of just filling the roster out before.

Also bummed to see Graver and Nicolette knocked out of tag contention, though happy for Wiggs at the same time. That's a double-edged sword. If this week is any indication, though, it looks like Nicolette and Graver are both gearing up to put themselves back in business.

Good to see Swytch pick up a victory. I was thoroughly impressed with Nightmare's stuff this week. Things were good except for Nightmare once again putting over how much the fans want to see him succeed and become champion. I think Wight mentioned this before so I won't go into great detail and just say that it really disrupts the flow of the RPs, for me personally. That was honestly what derailed the Nightmare RPs this week and guaranteed Swytch's victory.

Thanks for the constructive criticism, Lits. I'm really trying to get off of doing that and hopefully it shows in my roleplays, it clearly didn't this week but I'm going to try to ensure that it does in the weeks upcoming. Nice to see my efforts are getting noticed though, it makes me want to try harder. :)

I definitely noticed your efforts this week. If I'm remembering correctly, you only put over Nightmare's popularity in the first RP that you did. Though it was quite a glaring hiccup and seriously derailed that RP (which was going really good up until that point). Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see two well thought-out RPs as opposed to numerous repeats. I don't have much control over the booking (outside of my personal angles that Wight allows me to run) and pretty much just lend Wight an ear while offering input when it's asked for, but your efforts to improve your work haven't gone unnoticed, nor are they fruitless. I can tell you that much.

I was expecting Ghost to poke her nose into the match and I'm kind of disappointed she didn't. Tit for tat and all that sort of thing. Anyways, I had planned on doing another RP for the show since Swytch seemed to be so popular this past week for some reason, but I lost track of time. I suppose things could be addressed this week, but you'll just have to wait and see.

Not to jump on any kind of bandwagon or anything, but just to offer another person's perspective, my thoughts echo those of Lita's regarding your RPs, Night. Get rid of all that "the fans love me" stuff, the meat of your first RP was good, markedly better than the stuff I remember you putting out in the past.

One of these days I'll have to write one of Swytch's matches. Maybe it'll offer a little more insight into his current state of mind. Somebody sort of mentioned they missed me writing and to be honest I kind of miss it too. Do NOT take that as me saying I'm gonna start writing 20 page epic battles again. Just saying, I should do it once, maybe shed a brighter light on how Swytch is. Or maybe sate my need for bloody violence or something. I dunno.

Night did mention something to me about involving Ghost, asked if I was cool with her interfering (which I was) but he never got round to writing it so...yeah. Guess that's a deleted scene that ended up on the cutting room floor. Nevermind though, she'll be very close by for Swytch's match next week ;)

Very, very happy to see Chester take home the RCR, it just strikes me as a title he was born to hold. I actually thought for a moment there that he'd actually killed Spade, which wouldn't be unprecidented in this place. Cool and brutal way to finish the match.

Ghost and Lesbiana won which is always good. Ghost having to be saved by her lower card girlfriend I'm not so sure about. I don't have a problem with it, just makes me wonder if I'm still pushing Lesbiana over Ghost in these RPs. I think Ghost still has to assert herself more as the alpha lesbian, which is difficult when placed next to a personality such as Lesbiana.

It was honestly just the way the match was written. Don't read anything into it. Good job this week on pushing Ghost, actually.

Yeah, Wiggs, if my computer hadnt gone tits up on me and I actually *was* able to finish the match, Ghost would have gotten involved no matter what the result. I wanted to do that just to see if I could give 'Mo and maybe myself some stuff to work with.

I enjoyed both matches fairly evenly, the first one due to the fact that it's both true and funny as well. How often can you say that someone didn't RP so the opponent RPed for them?

Ladder match was a good read, Roger was portrayed as...well, Roger. Though it sucks that he lost, but can't win 'em all I guess. Lot of side bits though, some things I didn't know so I'm claiming it as new knowledge for the rest of the week.

Roxie promo was a bit last minute, didn't turn out the way I intended it to but in fact better. Can't rush these things I suppose.

Party on,
Joe.

As soon as I read that Spade's heart wasn't beating, I thought for sure "Boy is offing the character and Chester killed him!" I was immediately torn. One the one hand, Chester is trying his hardest to prove himself equal to Grant Rice, who is crediting with killing off Tier in FIW (hence the Kansas City Killer moniker). But at the same time, I wouldn't even know where to take Chester after actually killing someone. Ironically enough, that's so far from the type of person he really is, despite probably seeming like the exact type of person to do something like that.

*nods* I'm bringing in Jean Grey next week. Then killing her off. Then bringing her back at the next PPV.

Then killing her off.

Then bringing in Emma Frost.

Whoo! I can't wait until you bring Jean Grey back again for the WrestleMania match-up of Jean Grey vs. Emma Frost in a Cyclops on a Pole Match.

Ladder match was a good read, Roger was portrayed as...well, Roger.

Glad you liked it. I was going for a quick 1 page thing, and it turned out a little longer than that, but by the time I realised that, I couldn't be bothered to go back and stick some commentary in and expand it to a full match. Glad that I got Roger down though.

EDIT: Oh yeah, it's Download this weekend, so unless some inspiration slaps me in the face either tonight or tomorrow, might not see anything till Monday.

I was glad to see Jaime & Grant pick up the victory, since the fact the 4DD's are a legit Tag Team and Wight put out a decent RP for them had me concerned they might actually go over. I really enjoyed the match, but that's no surprise because Lits always seems to deliver a quality match. It really played up elements from both sides of the ring, be it the continuing Chester/Jaime/Grant business, or the 4DD's troubles. Top notch on working those elements in I say. Wasn't too thrilled about Jaime's challenge to Chester though. "What the fuck?" indeed.

Ghost & Lesbiana winner... boy... that could get interesting.

Chester's win is bitter sweet. On one hand, congrats to Lits, but on the other hand... *grumbles* it's Chester. Though, holy heck... he almost killed Spade! Not sure the little Grant bit at the end had the same "punch" I thought it would when I initially thought of doing it not long after the card went up, but nothing can be done about that now.
