With the debut of the Marvel board and my initial steps into World of Warcraft, this wasn't a great week for me. You can probably tell by most of the results, although it seemed as though it weren't the best of weeks for a lot of the others either. Lots of no-shows.

Though I will say I really enjoyed the LLF/hide/Pure contest this week, as well as the efforts the rest of you put out. I hope you enjoyed the show. Thanks to Joe for writing the ME. Always nice to have a written result somewhere in there.

This week's feedback is a bit special, so if you wouldn't mind...

We're heading toward the one year mark for NGIW being open again. Just a few scant months between us and our latest anniversary. I haven't closed the place down or taken weeks worth of vacation. I've even managed to write most of the results myself, book most of the cards myself (with judicious assistance from Lita) and keep things on a fairly good deadline.

But these aren't the only parts that make a fed a fed. So beyond your typical feedback this week I'd like to know how you are all feeling about NGIW. Be brutal if you feel you must; I'm aware we have our shortcomings. But mostly I'm looking for constructive criticism or ways we could make the place better. Is there anything that's been bothering you with how things work?

Or is everything just fine? I suppose that's a viable option. Nobody's just up and quit after all, though my irresponsibility with Drake may have brought him close a few times. *winks at his Asian Love Machine*

*chuckles* So yes.

Card sometime tomorrow, as it is my birthday it may be late. Feel free to roleplay character development stuff in its absence.

Thots?

First off, happy cakeday Wight!

I think I focused more on the Marvel board this week cos it was shiny and new and I have no XBox at the moment (red ring, shut up Joe), so I figured my RPs suffered a little because of that. But then Lesbiana still won so yay on that.

I don't think I've said this before but I freakin' love Horus. He's my new favourite character. I love characters that speak differently to the norm, whether they have an accent or they use different vocbulary. It's why I enjoyed reading Samedi RPs so much and it's why I'll read anything with Horus in it. I'd love for him and Lesbiana to have some interaction at some point.

As for overall NGIW feedback, I can't really think of anything I don't like. I don't mind short results. If I've just got in from work and try to read a whole match I end up spacing out and have to re-read bits so having it summed up in a paragraph kinda suits me. Plus I'm just not that into the actual wrestling side of things.

I like the gap between shows. It's a decent amount of time that means I always have a couple of days off inbetween to put something down on virtual paper. I feel like I should have something negative to say, some critical feedback that might be useful but I have nothing. Um, keep up the good work? *thumbs up*

...! Ohh[/Zoidberg]. Though I will say that I got the dreaded ring, but I turned it off then on again and it was fine and dandy like sour candy. That...probably doesn't help. *hrm*

ANyway, I don't think I can really say anything about results for myself. Catherine match is up and I'm glad to see it went as I suggested, as did the Roger "tag" match. Nice choice of song, as I think Lemmy can take anyones attention. Ahh, Lemmy...wait, what? Oh, um...then the ME which I sorta wrote so...yeah. I had fun writing it, if that counts.

As for NGIW as a whole, I think gothic feds are a thing of the past so I'm taking it to strange new places. But yeah, I've got no beef here. For now...

Though now I've gotta play video games. On a system that isn't broken. Because it's awesome. What? I didn't...*re reads*...D'oh!

Party on,
Joe.

I'm pretty happy with the way NGIW is going right now. I really do not mind short results, as long as I get results at all I don't honestly care how long they are or what have you. I also like the gap between shows since it gives me time even with a tough schedule (college, girlfriend, life) to get an RP up.

So all in all, good show Wight. Keep up the good work.

It'll probably be late for me too since not only is it your birthday, it is my older brother's 21st. So i'm definitely happy about the late card.

Whoa... I didn't realize my roleplay was past the deadline. Let's just say it's been a bad week what with my girlfriend's car being stolen, a scramble to come up with tuition money for school, and family drama... oddly, none of these were my problems persay. But you know how it is when you love someone.

As far as NGIW goes, it feels good on the ho-... whole. Maybe you're being your own worst critic, Wight, because I honestly don't draw issue with NGIW's flow. I like the time between shows because it gives me ample time to BS my way through the "creative roleplay process". I like the short results because full-blown results for every match gets boring after a while. And I like that there isn't an abundant amount of assholes spamming non-stop.

We only have one.

So yea. If NGIW were an Asian prositute, I wouldn't strangle her to death. Wouldn't!

First, Happy Birthday Wight, hope you kill some little children and sacrifice some goats for fun!

Secondly, I’d like to apologize for my really bad lack of effort in Pure this week, I had, even had a rp ready to post on Monday but I got caught up in a job interview going really bad and pissing me off, so I was in no mood to rp, which I apologize for. As for Alex, I’d like to know why I lost or have been on a losing streak with Alex? I’m not angry, or upset I just would like to know how you feel I can improve him Wight, or if he’s that bad, I’ll take him off the roster.

As for feedback toward NGIW, as I’ve only been here for the last 5-6 weeks, I can’t really judge as well as others, but I’d like to say I have enjoyed myself greatly so far and have no time of giving up my time here anytime soon. I would like to say the way the shows are done are awesome too, which is helpful, so keep it up I see NGIW doin’ really well honestly.

In my short stint here I have no issues with NGIW. The schedule works perfectly for me because it takes me a moment to bash through the "creative roleplay process". The short results I wasn't a big fan of it at first. But it's grown on me as I know at times I didn't feel like reading a long match. Things are running smooth Wight....don't change anything.

oh yeah....you might wanna bookmark this seeing as I NEVER leave feedback. almost a historic moment of sorts.

No, I think we're fine. I just figured others might not and I like to give the people what they want. Or at least have the opportunity to tell them "no".

I think it's a combination of you settling into him and me forgetting how awesome Shaun can be. Though now that I think of it I actually didn't book that match. Hm. Keep pluggin' away at him, I think once you hit a real stride he'll be as effectively hateable as Carson Rayne.

But not Ducky. We love Ducky.

I am quite happy here. I finally found a character that I am having fun RPing. I enjoy the unusual mix of characters here and hope this place continues to flourish.

Sorry I don't have time to give hide as much time as he deserves. Don't worry though, that's not a resignation notice; I am going to have to work out a system where I end up writing him more though.

And Happy Birthday.

The point, Drake, is that we're on to you... you're not Asian at all, are you?!

Okay, I've given this a little more thought. And as I'm a little short for time I'll make it quick, I personally feel there's too much of a "clique feel" around here which causes some to pretty well monopolize the top spots. I'm not trying to be all "Look I'm saying just what beoit said, I'm so clever" I'm simply using said term because it pretty well sums that whole feeling up. I'm also not going to be naming names because that doesn't help either and will most likely upset some instead. So instead I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and hoipe for the best in that department.

Clearly this isn't me bitching, so those hoping for some further discussion on the topic from myself will be sadly mistaken. I'm just saying my final piece and moving on.

Party on,
Joe.
