Good job, all who RPed. I honestly mean that despite my personal disinterest, which I am putting effort into getting out of. Some tough matches to decide, and I'm sure it shows in the results. Card tomorrow. Thots? |

My match ruled. Even though I didn't really win or lose, a street fight followed by drinks is probably the best match on the card every time you book it. |

Glorious. I'm going to echo 'Mares sentiments. PLUS, this gives me some hate-filled Irish-bashing material to spew for the next show... pressuming Finn and Bloodbath are going for round two. If that's the case, then I volunteer to write short results for the match. Of course, I have an idea to waft under your nose, Wight. Stay tuned for a PM loaded with potential groin-grabbingly-good goodness. |

I can honestly say I didn't see that coming. It feels like I should say "but it does explain a lot" after that first statement, but really, it only leaves me with more questions. I'm just...baffled. |

Nice to see feedback on a paragraph instead of an actual fully written match. Real nice. |

I don't generally leave feedback to begin with and when I do, it's because 1.) I didn't understand something, 2.) I didn't like something. I'd apologize, but honestly I don't care. You wrote the match for your own sake. And really, what does it matter what I think of the match you wrote? If you didn't enjoy it, you shouldn't have wrote it in the first place. You didn't write the match because my character was in it, you wrote it because yours was in it. If your self-esteem is that low that you're going to get all butt hurt about whether or not I said I liked it, then maybe there's a bigger issue. Next time if I care enough, I'll feed you some generic line about how good it was. |

How am I being a dick? How? By asking for feedback? By asking for a simple notion of solace that my work was either enjoyed or hated? By being curious as to how the other party perceived the match? What if Lita wrote a match and no one commented on it at all? Would you call her a bitch if she asked for feedback? What if no one feedbacked a show? Especially one where you put a lot of drive into it? Where you just couldn't wait to write the results because everyone seemed so focused on the matches and all your drive was back. Would it be right then to call you a dick then if you suddenly showed a sign of upsetting attitude? Was I excited to write the match? Yes. Because of my character? Yes. But also because it presented a new challenge in Swytch, someone I've never written for before. Was I excited for feedback? Yes. Almost everyday I checked for even the slightest notion that someone had at least skimmed the match. I wasn't looking for praise, a "that's one hell of a match, Joe" or even a "good job on that one". Just something. Am I in the wrong for requesting something so simple? Am I in the wrong for how I approached this situation? Perhaps. Last week you asked people for their views on the state of NGIW. How they were getting along with how things had been going thus far. If people had told you "I don't care. It's not the matches I'm here for, I'm here for the roleplaying. I don't care about the work you do, the cards you put up, the results you post...none of it matters." How exactly would that make you feel? To hear that these past few months of your effort, pleasing efforts on your part, meant so little to certain people? I'm not looking to continue this, I know it's petty to argue over a simple thing as acknowledgement. But if there are those willing to continue this discussion, though I highly doubt it as I'm sure most feel the same way, I'm just a simple PM away. Now, all this talk about feedback has given me the sudden desire to leave some. I did kinda expect the win in the Roxie match, sucks though that Tamarcus couldn't or didn't, unsure which, Rp. Actually, and this truly is the questionable Pearl Harbor situation, I'm sure if he had RPed he might've won as I was on the fence about a proper theme for my next Roxie RP and what with relatives and the holiday of Thanksgiving (don't care what you yanks say, it's real enough damnit) I couldn't really properly think. Which is why I came out with my SpeCtationill RP's early. And just never bothered to write anymore. Though yeah, sucks though (again) that Dai couldn't get that one RP up he was meaning to. Oh well, as I told him, he had all those other dates of various victories over the team. Oh yes, and the same reason applies to Roger's "RP". As for actual match feedback...well, unfortunately can't say much other than I hope Wight gets his groove back. Maybe he should hire Whoopi Goldberg to help him out. Worked for Stella. I never saw the movie, but I think by the end she was able to write horrorcore once more. Or was it erotic novels for children? And in the effort of not double posting, especially over the reason that for some reason my computer is reading this site a little slower than usual, Kain was right in the PPV page. About the first bit, I don't know if Lita had updated it or if Wight has some split personality that isn't revealing itself to the other. Party on. Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

What a strange land of grossly exagerated psychological annalysis we live in. I swear, you people must have degrees and diplomas coming out your asses to be drawing such Freudian conclusions. Either that or some people are just epicly dick-faced and pompus. But fuck, who cares as long as someone else feels bad so you can feel better about yourself. Fuck. |

That. That right there. The rest of your post is pointless as that's exactly why you're in the wrong. There's no need to be catty in this thread at 'Mo because he posted feedback for something he had found feedbackable. But I'm not the type of person to disregard complaints one might have so I will do my best to respond to your other comments. I'm not quoting most of the times you bring this up, but yes... it is upsetting when I work hard on things and they don't get feedback. It's usually about that point I go and ask the person I want feedback from. I'm sure they read the match or event or roleplay or whatever, but perhaps they didn't feel like/didn't get around to posting their feelings on the board. Boy hardly ever posts feedback, shall we crucify him for that? No. Because he tells me personally what he feels about the situation and I rest assured that if someone else wanted his input they'd ask him, or ask me to ask him.
Well, it's why Lita and I are here. And if it's the reason I'm here... and I'm the GM... then it wouldn't be right of me to hold it against other people for feeling that way. Hell, it's half the reason I'm OK with doing the whole show short results some weeks. I can't be fussed with putting forth the effort to write up full results for matches if I myself don't even really care about their outcome. Then again, perhaps it's because I limit my ability to compete in this fed due to being its onwer and thus cut myself off from having an honest investment in competition. Or not, as I typically skimmed my old FIW matches at best. I'm rambling. In short, you were completely justified in being upset you didn't get feedback... unless of course you didn't even try to talk to 'Mo (or anyone else) privately about it after not recieving any publicly. Then you're just silly and being catty for no reason. Which is a dick move in my book. The images will be fixed when I feel like fucking with them. I hate how Photobucket lays out their page so... ehh.... maybe later. |

I know I did send a PM out to Mo about midway last week, Wednesday I believe. If he got it I don't know, and judging by this apparently not. But in terms of images, why not just use Imagecave? I know people are all like *rabble-rabble* image cave *rabble-rabble* but I've been using them for about over a year now and have yet to come across any problem.
That would be Tired Joe. Seriously, and not to sound pompous or even arrogant, but I do tend to at least sound more...um, articulate when I come off work. Just one of the many mysteries. Unless it happens to most others, then it's just part of human nature. *Goes and sits down right next to Wiggs* Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Didn't know 'til you mentioned it. Okay, imagecave sucks then. But still not for me, for some reason. Maybe I'm like a millionth customer or maybe they know the pull I'll have with the Klingon Empire...when that game comes out. taHvIp jIH! Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |
