What a week!

Really surprised by a lot of the results. Just atypical of usual stuff.

Thanks to everyone who sent in promos and promo snippets for Boy and I to work off of. I hope you like the show.

Great RPs all around this week, some need some work, but I have no doubt those folks will find their stride.

Again, if you have a problem with anything said about your character in the video, just contact me and we'll refrain from being dicks as much as we can.

EDIT: The show says the first match of the PPV card is sort of "eehhhh". That was before I made strong edits to the show's card. The first match is now OK.

Thots?

Ostensibly, the BFO are in NGIW so Daisuke doesn't have to deal with people screaming "NEPOTISM" or whatever at him. The real reason is because I can't be arsed doing two characters in FIW.

The Boy reminds me of Jim Cornette. Needs a Tennis Racket. Be a great gimmick, but I can imagine Wight might get tired of getting battered after a while. It would be funny.

Yasu's face following the chair shot was spot-on. As was hide going nuts.

Ironically, Roxie was the one with a television show. I do have future plans for her, less characters (for the most part it'll just be the two of them). Evil Girls, while I can't promise they'll be as dark as their predecessors, I'm hoping they will be as entertaining as I've got some ideas mulling around for them. Crackerjack will be Crackerjack, as he's always been (save those two...or three...final runs in FIW. Which I sincerely apologize for.)

As for the show, another triumph I find. Nice sells and the like, which is always good as it tends to pump up the spirit. Obviously, I mean, it's worked for me and if it weren't for my own headache every single character of mine would have something on that board by nights end.

Anyways, following the ever so popular closing (at least I hope it is) I have the actual Roxie promo. As I told Wight I do much better writing it out in its entirety. Not something I'm endorsing, it just works for me. Anyway, here it is for those bored enough to read through (even after getting the cliff notes)

Party on,
Joe.

EDIT: I (that is to say Wight) posted it elsewhere, as I had been meaning to before you posted this.

EDIT: (This time by Joe) Probably the only sports drink hide would ever endorse, huh? lol. From the solo can I've had...good stuff.

EDIT: (by Wight again) That is awesome. *eats Joe's snacky smores*

A long Vice this week, but it was a good one. I enjoyed all three parts of the show, but especially the final part. The "Where Are They Now" sort of close to the show was a great way to close it. Like seeing former famous characters mentioned and tidbits of their "real lives" added to make them appear more real and also give NGIW more of a reality base (ironic). Good stuff.

I was surprised that Lucas won his match. I really didn't have a clue what to RP for him this week. Not sure how a Lucas/Gene tag team is going to go in that Tag Title Tourney thingamajig. Loved the anticipation for Horus Osbourne as his partner. I would've loved that, but Wight just doesn't have the time to bring Horus back into the mix right now. Maybe Lucas should go on a rampage and take out the Wight characters to make room for him. Heh.

Actually, in the Ryu/Ken dynamic he and [Grav/Ti]er have going going on, hide could only drink the ones with Ryu on.

Unfortunately, it seems that queermo Ken is like the poster child for the drink as I can't find a Ryu labeled one. There is one with Ryu on it, but it's their 20th anniversary energy drink. So unless hide plastered an image of Ryu on a can...*shrugs*.

T.C., c'mon man, they spent almost two minutes talking smack about Draven. ...go Hulk on their ass, not Bruce Banner. lol

Party on,
Joe.

All I know is that I think it's funny the way the Boy kept looking over at you. Kinda in those "I never thought I'd feel this way about another man" secret stares. Ooo, could an on-camera romance be in the works? This gossip hound says "Mmm...probably."
Party on,
Joe.

I don't think Cornette would or could say fuck nearly as much.

In other news, yea the "I hate this place" angle came as a complete and sudden change for the usually so happy-go-lucky Hype. You guys pretty much nailed it. It was time for a change. I spent an afternoon youtubing the old Mick Foley anti-hardcore promos and found all sorts of inspiration... and lines to blatantly rip off. I figure as long as I keep it in the wrestling biz it's an homage to a revelutionizing body of work. Yay me!

You ever hear Cornette's angry shoot rants? He swears a lot in those.
