Roxie/Evil Girls; New on new thoughts?

Evil Girls ver. 2.0

Okay, so I know there’s already a show feedback forum (which is still fresh off the grill and therefore far more important) but I couldn’t wait to get peoples thoughts. It’s usually the first thing that runs through the ol’ noggin when either creating a new character or readjusting some.

But anyway, if you’re none too busy…what are the thoughts?

Party on,
Joe.

Not bad. As I've said I got attached to Betsy, but I'm curious to see where these two go.

Alright, so I'm not really asking for Roxie this time (I'm just using this topic to keep everything square) but what are the thoughts on Evil Girls season Uno? Remember, that's also including the first round with Betsy, Lana, and Hibiki. So simply put...everything Evil Girls thus far.
Party on,
Joe.

I would post but I made my thoughts known. Though to be fair last week they had a lot of cohesion and I thought things went very well.

I think that's the most I've ever focused on a match in my entire e-fed career. Even more so than Sadovsky...and that's that guys gimmick!
Party on,
Joe.

I really liked Betsy and Hibiki, both seemed like well developed characters, though as others have pointed out, Hibiki was a bit stereotypical. I liked it though, made the whole respectful Japanese lady thing seem like more of an act.

Never really did get into Lana, she always seemed a little overwrought to me (kinda like Kursur on a bad week).

Elaine started REALLY interesting, but she went a direction I sort of drifted off from. I like her on the whole, but she has some habits that annoy me.

Miko was actually really neat once I got into her, but her dialogue colors give me migraines.

That's about it.

I understand where you're coming from with the colours...they're really just there to help differentiate along with some of the familiarities thrown around. Really that's the only reason they're used so frequently. It's just either that or I constantly make it a point to write down which one is talking and that, well, can be more annoying than seeing the differences in colour, I'm guessing (I don't want to attempt to find out).

Maybe it's strange from me here, but I did too prefer the first set of Evil Girls to the second. Primarily because of the chemistry. Even though they were a team they were all out for their own ends and Betsy seemed to me the most in depth person of the three of them. Yeah, Hibiki was stereotypical and I think her saving grace (to me, at least) were her varied missions and her crazed suicidal nature. Those were among the first things I pondered up when coming up with an old mission of hers. Though I think they all pailed in comparison to her first speaking role when she paused the screen and bowed to the image of Gene Foster while introducing herself.

This is actually Lana Star's...second run...yes, her second. She did have that brief, unexplained cameo in a Roxie rp over in FIW. What can I say other than she's come an awfully long way from just being a valet to a male pornstar gone wrestler. She was originally, to me again, the poster child of the Evil Girls because, again to me, she symbolized the most out of everyone what Horrorcore is. She's a psychotic, self aspiring artist with a real attitude problem toward authority. And the fact that nobody ever brought up how her scarecrow has yet to decay...that's just amazing.

I love the Betsy character, I've loved the idea of the character since I first created her in a game. She's the ultimate middle ground I find in the original Evil Girls. Psychotic like Lana but calm and collected like Hibiki. One minute she's talking sweetly to you from behind her mask and the next she's gripping hold of your throat pulling back. The only real difference between her here and in the game is that in the game she has a "face". By face...well, just refer to "House of a 1000 Corpses" or "Devil's Rejects" and you'll get the picture.

I think I've said everything there is to really say about the current members. But I still have to come back to Taylor. A last minute addition (as the original Taylor was supposed to be female) I still can't help but laugh at his predicament. There's no need to feel sorry for him because he's doing what he loves, but it's just the kind of characters he's constantly around...

I do have some big plans set up for the second season and I'll be sure to start that up soon with some actual words on these past results. Hopefully people will enjoy as I'll try to keep things interesting.

Party on,
Joe.
