One thing I didn't get to slip into the show because Lita PMed me after we recorded was Kim's involvement in the xXx match. She was there at ringside, cheering xXx on and probably slapped Elaine at some point.

I'm thinking an NGIW awards and maybe an NGIW FBOTY soon? The latter's up to Lita, the former's up to your interests.

EDIT: In light of Joe's recent roleplay I apologise for Roxie's portrayal at the PPV since it wasn't at all accurate, I guess.

Thots?

I really dug the show. The video recap was fun and hilarious, even though I lost which is a shame. Oh well. Triad and I have traded so many victories over the years that it's all starting to blur together at this point :P At least Night had a good match.

Good to see the Nerds back on force. I would be all like "Hey, maybe we just keep it a PPV thing, make it easier" but that in itself would require a scheduled needed to be followed, so other than saying it would be a nice thought I won't go any further than that.

Evil Girls lost...kinda sucks. Spaced out though, maybe when I was grabbing my croissant, but I kinda missed what happened to Elaine up at the top. Oh well, I'll see if I can't just go back and watch that part again. Other than that though...yeah, sucks that Evil Girls didn't win. lol.

When I heard impromptu, I kinda figured Roxie...but was still surprised to hear her name. Guess it answered the mystery, but it's okay that it doesn't go...that[/i[ well with my last RP. Luckily nobody follows that closely to my stuff because there's a few inconsistencies in my own characters backgrounds. *Shifty eyes, shifty eyes, shifty eyes* Also, as Wight advertised his books I'll advertise that last RP. C'mon, read it. If not for the character development (which is all it is) then for the valid point it makes.

Feedback on the feedback...*deep breath* ( I actually did take one, involuntarily too) Roxie is Roxie. I remember saying when she first returned that I had nothing going for her, no idea of a running storyline, nothing. As I said, even I don't know what's going on with Roxie and I'm the guy who's supposed to write her. I'm not saying that I'm an idea guy, but I just think "hey, that might be fun" and then write it. So you're not alone, Wight, she's going over my head too. I mean she is fun to write, and there's so much to write for her. I think that's really the only reason I keep her coming back. Not "I want that last run at a title!" or "I think she has one more good match left in her".

I kinda like the idea of people saying "Joe must have thought up the Evil Girls stuff in advance"...*shakes head* nope. lol. This is where an ego could come into play or something close to, but I'm trying to be as humble as I can here when I say Evil Girls just go with the flow. I mean if it were for Kanae, Kagero wouldn't really have that hatred for ninjas. If [R] hadn't made that point, there'd be no sudden confusion over Miko's reason for being there. If it weren't for Crackerjill then Elaine would've said "Betsy" at the end of the season finale instead of "Nell". Not that I'm saying Betsy is Crackerjill, but I'd like to keep her as a top suspect. If Roxie hadn't teamed with the Evil Girls, then I would've postponed Betsy's escape until much, much later. And again I'm not trying to be all like "Well I'm just a really fast thinker. Place me in any situation and I'll come out with something that can lead into something else." And I think that's why I like the Evil Girls so much because I write them like a fan. I have them react and based on that reaction become interested in where it goes.

For every show I do I always like to make a central figure. One where if they weren't around, the show would be lousy. or lousier. It can be argued (if there was ever the love) that Catherine is the central character in Bad Girls, what with her having been in all seasons, but I find that spot befalls best upon Blink. Good Girls, I'll get to them and eventually finish their application for elsewhere. Just thought I'd throw their name out there in advance. For the Evil Girls at first I wanted to say it was Betsy, then Miko, but in actuality it's gots to be Taylor. As Wight said he's bland, he's...just there doing his thing, trying to just make an honest living. I think that's why he fits in so well with the theme of the "show". I like writing him because his characteristics are so easy to write for. He's like the sidekick to the over zealous, explosion making, firing till the clip's empty, fighting in the rain yet still covered in dirt action hero. It's a role that's been done so many times but it just makes the hero look all the more bad ass. I'm not saying that him being there makes the Evil Girls look more bad ass, just him being there makes the Evil Girls more, well, evil.

Alright, it's the new year, I've been holding this off long enough. A few months ago (actually around six, I think) I think I came to Wight with the idea of having the all around popularity contest in NGIW as I was doing the one in FIW. He said I should give it some time first. Well, luckily I completely forgot about it until a few weeks ago because that certainly gave it more time. Basically I'm thinking of holding these things annually, FIW in the summer and NGIW in the winter. As this would be NGIW's first, it would be one based on the entire roster, past and present. I would go on to explain the details later, mind you. Right now this is feedback...and I don't really feel like starting a new post any time soon.

Also, yeah, awards could be fun. I like the shinnies.

Party on,
Joe.

a bitter sweet show to say the least. I'll admitt, where I wasn't one hundred percent confident, I thought perhaps the Adam Wilson story would have been intriguing enough to have the belt put on him... just to see what he wouldn have done with it. But I suppose watching hide deal with not one, but two contenders is going to be a good time also.

Bloodbath. Hmm... what to say about a character I never thought I'd keep. Stoked that he won. I echo 'Mares sentiment in saying that he and I have traded so many victories that I'm just happy for us! I always enjoy/hate working with Nightmare because he's so good at making my RP's look shabby after the fact. I get all puffed up and proud and then he comes along and kicks my legs out from underneath me. But that being said, it keeps things competative, and seeing as we hadn't planned anything out which is unusual for us, I'd say we managed to create something pretty awesome. Hope you guys enjoyed it!

The audio feedback was very encouraging. Sometimes I wonder if people enjoy my work or if I'm drawing sighs and gags. I've had maybe one or two people MSN me to say that they enjoyed a roleplay or a story, but I think Wight's nod for Most Improved Roleplayer is by far the most flattering comment. So thanks, boss! I suppose I'll strive, as I do every year, to reach a place where I can call Lita, Dai, and Wight peers.

Also, Gene Foster should call his fans Foster Kids. That is all.

I'll echo Adam's thoughts about the show being a little bittersweet. I'm very happy that Lucas won, though at the same time I'm not really sure what that means for him. I feel like I might be slowly losing my grasp on Lucas now that he's taking a more violent approach with no actual end game in sight. I worry about him being put on repeat and while that might've worked with his "weenie" gimmick, I think it might be kind of tired with an aggressive gimmick.

Surprised and maybe even a tiny bit disappointed about the impromptu Flycore title match. I didn't really expect that to take place impromptu, but I see why it did. Kim is making enemies and that is always good, because she is supposed to have a pile of people that hate her. Very happy that her boys are the tag team champions, though. And Julien is the bad ass of the world. Kind of want to see him throw down with hide now. Hm....

Speaking of hide Kitazawa... love him! As I told Wight and Dai on MSN, hide is a character that I love to read and love to roleplay with, but he's probably the one character that RPing against fills me with a paralyzing fear. The hide/Wilson match was one where I would've taken any winner and been happy, but sad at the same time. I was one of the people who contacted Adam on MSN to let him know how much I've been enjoying his recent work with the Hype. I could've definitely seen him walking out of the PPV with that strap, but that damn Kitazawa is just that damn good. Maybe that's why Kotoha has a massive crush on the blue haired devil.

I'm closing with Chester and Dante because that was the match I was most looking forward to. I can't really remember the last time that Mo and I actually had a feud against each other. Was it Swytch and Kennedy? But that doesn't even really count because from the beginning it was designated to transition Kennedy onto his evil arm. So it was fun to throw down with Mo in an RP war. Our back and forth is what I really wanted for Chester and Swytch once upon a time, but Chester was too small time and Swytch was too ego-centric to give Chester the time of day. Funny, I would've expected the ego from Dante, but I guess his ego is the "I see you, and I'm gonna make fun of you before I kick your ass and laugh in your face" so it works. Didn't see a draw coming. I sort of thought Dante was going to take the victory either by just being that much quicker, or I thought [R] was going to get involved and give Dante the DQ victory. Though, I guess the Flycore match took that finish. Curious where things are gonna go now with all these characters and who is going to challenge hide next.

As far as Wight's feedback is concerned, I'll take the backhanded compliment graciously. I always like surprising people, which means the chances I take are actually paying off. Chester and the Rangers are my most daunting characters to RP. Though, I find it easier to RP the Rangers as they essentially aren't "important" to anything. Whereas Chester is actually a serious character that is going to look like a fool if I don't succeed with him, so he requires more effort. It makes it all the more tough when the character most out of my comfort-zone is throwing down with the big boys like hide and Dante. Let's see if I can make 2011 Chester's year. *fingers crossed*

Woot for the return of Two Nerds. Although it seems that Boy was replaced by some hairy creature.

Chester vs. Dante was good. Not what I expected at all, thought for sure Chester was going to win. Though now I have no idea what's going on. Are they both number one contender? Is Chester in [R]? Is he CM Punk to [R]'s Nexus?

Cube was awesome. That spot you were describing with Julien and Spade, the way it was setting up I thought for sure Julien was going to hit the double foot stomp on Spade, in which case he might have died, although it would have been for a good cause! But the senton was just as good. Glad to see xXx pick up the straps. Certainly not to say they deserved it, but maybe I can quit being so hard on myself about the quality of work. Just a few things that I was slightly disappointed in, and this is nothing personal against the people involved. A few shows back, when [R] defended against xXx and retained via DQ, I figured there might have been the start of a decent feud. Which, as cliche as it may have been, the contrasting styles of [R] and xXx could have lead to interesting match choices, but it never came. Oh well, not a big deal. I never said anything to Wight about a feud, so my bad. Then came the PPV card and I was just confused. Although after talking to Lita, I understood why Evil Girls were in the match. It's the Cube, it's like mandatory that you squeeze as many people in it for maximum carnage. Although I did tell Lita that if xXx won, it would come at the expense of the Evil Girls. On a side note, I didn't think xXx would have even won, for some reason I didn't think the holiday thread counted. I'm a tardface. Anyway, it could go either way as to whether xXx would feud with [R]. If anything, it's almost set up perfect for it now, what with the outcome of the Chester/Dante match and [R]'s involvement and xXx taking the straps off [R].

As for the NGIW Championship, I think I'm with everybody else in thinking that Hype was going to take it. Certainly nothing against Dai or hide either, as I'm a fan of Dai's work and the hide character. And I certainly can't complain about hide's title run, hell my own character Triple H'd the shit out of the DC for nearly a year in FIW. Dai's definitely earned his run. But the thought of Hype with the title and what could have been are interesting. And honestly I was really hoping for the chance at a Dante/Hype feud, especially considering all that happened earlier in the year. Although, can't lie, I'd dig a Dante/hide feud too. Triple H of NGIW's past vs. Triple H of NGIW new. And Dante did say that hide was NGIW at some point.

As far as the feedback is concerned, I was a little bummed. Honestly I've felt like I was on a good roll with Dante since coming back. Everything I've done with him has felt smooth and easy. xXx I felt was coming along right around the interaction with Kim, but I wouldn't have said Dante had taken a backseat to them. Anyway, things are set up to take on a much different direction now. xXx has the tag titles, they've got their spotlight, so I wouldn't expect Dante to continue taking a backseat to them, especially considering the events of the Dante/Chester match. I really think that has potential to be big, not just Chester and Dante, but [R] and xXx as a whole. Hopefully.

Adam's promo rocked. Took me a full week, give or take some dicking about in the party thread, to think of something to respond with. If you're going to rip someone off pay tribute to someone, you may as well do it as well as that.

Two Nerds being back is always good. I'm like the 10th person to say that, but it's true.

Mo, I'll give you Triple H, I hate that big-nosed nonce. [Shakes Fist.] hide's more like Randy Savage: held the belt for ages while being brightly coloured and insane.

Had fun in the party thread. Dig the Rangers of the Sword, but then I did from the beginning. Love the concept. Love how they're starting to grow out of their archetypes.
