I am in possibly the most irritated mood I have been in in some number of days. Let me explain... not because I feel sad or "poor me" or anything of the sort. Certainly I've felt that way in the past, but that's not the case here. Today. Now. What follows is important to understand as a preface to my feedback. I have too much on my plate right now. Primarily I'm working on the Colt Regan RPG because it's one of the two things I'm publishing this year. It's been a lot of work but I'm almost finished with the actual writing stage of it. Soon I can move on to the art and then publish the fucker. I'm also working on the third book in the series and a couple other projects that might get published this year. I am running too many damn individual characters in NGIW. [R] altogether really only counts as one most of the time because they have one goal and my workhorse among them is Giggles. So that's not so bad. Horus isn't even so bad because I moved him to a managerial (and thus non-competitive) role. However that leaves Pixie Korpse, SLAG, and Havok in addition. I just don't have time for six characters right now. I DON'T. NGIW is also a place with a lot of egos, and because this is the internet and people's real intentions are harder to read through text, sadly those egos are often imagined. Which is just FOOD for my fucking paranoia. Let's not even get into the fact that miscommunications between handlers has led me to some adversity lately. I'm also quite irate at the fact that Kyle has returned to FIW, thus barring me from competing there. Of course, I have too many characters in NGIW as it is, but a lot of those were going to get whittled down anyway and when I had the few required here in NGIW I was going to set up shop over there. Not now, obviously, as that vicious little pus-bag of a troll has set up shop with his interpretation of Homeless Frank. It burns my brain as to why ANYONE would want that virulent, incendiary asshole as a member of their fed. He does nothing but cause problems and run mediocre characters. He never has done anything BUT cause problems and run mediocre characters. But this isn't FIW and you guys don't give a fuck about their bullshit politics, so moving on... I have been rushing to record and edit shows, from the mass amount of work I did last week to get the last episode of Two Nerds Season 1 edited to the work I've done this week to get Burn and the first episode of Two Nerds Season 2 done, it's been a lot of stress. I don't mind editing these videos, it just takes time, is a lot of stressful, precise work, and I've been trying to meet deadlines. This wouldn't be so bad except that YouTube doesn't understand what a fucking CLIP or a REVIEW is. Nevermind that The Nostalgia Critic, Obscurus Lupa, Todd in the Shadows, and countless other internet reviewers got their start on YouTube and used the SAME AMOUNT OF FOOTAGE AND MUSIC I'M USING. Nevermind that the only reason I HAVE that footage and music is from DOWNLOADING IT OFF THEIR FUCKING WEBSITE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I can't upload my reviews because of it. And of course because I tried they took away my ability to upload videos longer than 15 minutes... WITHOUT TELLING ME. So the hours I've spent waiting for various videos to upload was WASTED as YouTube deemed them too long ONLY AFTER THEY HAD BEEN FULLY UPLOADED. This wouldn't be a problem if the other large-scale upload streaming video service provider, Blip, EVER FUCKING WORKED FOR ME. I've had problems with depression lately. St. John's Wort has managed to keep my chemicals in balance, but I've been working so hard on stuff to the point that DAYS go by where I don't do anything fun. The most enjoyment I get is listening to internet review sites or TV Brandie is watching while I work on other things. I wake up, I work, I go to bed. This was the schedule for WEEKS. I'm not a worker bee. I look up to those that are, because I simply can't do it. The fact that I haven't been having any fun lately slid me into a depression that I couldn't alter with herbal remedies. I had to alter it by actually having fun. Taking breaks from work isn't hard, of course, but here's the kicker. On the 8th Dragon Age 2 comes out and we're getting it. Which means that over the past week I've been scrambling to beat the first one so I didn't get major spoilers to the plot. I finished that, no problem, got to relax and play a game I REALLY wanted to play until I found out that your save data from Awakenings, Golems of Amgarrak and Witch Hunt carries over. So now I have to super-trudge through three fucking chapters of DLC before I start playing the new game. So the time I spend doing something fun, I'm not even doing something I want to do. My fun is quantified by a task I have set before myself so that I may potentially have fun at a later date. I'd much rather be playing Fallout New Vegas or Marvel vs. Capcom 3... or even SDvR 2011. Or World of Warcraft! Oh, speaking of... have I mentioned how the idiots on WoW don't seem to understand how one makes money on the Auction House? It's a minor irritation but fucking pants-on-head retards have been fucking up my ability to turn a profit on fucking ANYTHING because they don't understand simple math. On top of all of this SHIT... this piddly shit that makes me more frustrated purely because I am aware that it is piddly shit and yet it still manages to frustrate me... for no good goddamn reason my back has thrown out again. Which means descending the fucking stairs to do the fucking laundry is so painful it LITERALLY TAKES MY BREATH AWAY. I'm a fat dude. I get winded when I run up and down the stairs like an idiot; I'm not going to lie. But slowly and carefully descending the stairs with a heavy load has NEVER rendered me into a wheezing, aching mess until these back problems surfaced. The only way I'm capable of doing everyday tasks like making myself a cooked meal, laundry, and washing dishes is to subject myself to excruciating pain for half an hour. But all this would be fine! I'd be FIIIINE if I could indulge myself now and then. I like to go out to the gas station, get some cupcakes. Comfort food, y'know? Makes me feel better. Or maybe a sub from Subway. Nothing crazy. I even ask the Boy to pick it up while he's out doing other things. But no. Every fucking time I've tried to get something small to put the teensiest of fucking smiles on my face, the car battery is cracked and leaking and it won't work. The gas station is out of cupcakes. Or we don't have paper money and my house-companions are asleep. I'm taking measures to correct most of these. Sadly, they take time. But whatever. I'll live. I'll deal. I just need to upload the show, get it posted, and a lot of my problems go down the drain. Thats. When. YouTube. Fucking. Crashes. Internet. Explorer. Mid-Upload. Mid-Post. I. Lose. Everything. Feedback. Show. 99%. Uploaded. Videos. Must. Kill. Anger. Too. Great. MUST... KILL! *sighs* Obviously it's fixed now. Obviously NOW everything is hunky-dory, but my mood is through the fucking basement, the earth's crust, and the first eight layers of hell tickling Lucifer's balls. So you don't get the eloquent, open-minded, kind feedback I had written previously. You get a preface. A warning. Then you get me raw. Blight vs. Spider was a dickup. Spider forgot to post his roleplay (which he wrote, mind you... just forgot to post it) and Blight was unaware he had a match... so instead he sent me a promo. Miko and Lucas were even in the RP quality/quantity ratio. Miko said she'd lay down for Lucas, so since both sides wanted Lucas to win, he did. Roxie and Kim were even keel in RPs. Roxie did more RPs of the same quality. Roxie wins. I am so PISSED at myself for forgetting to RP Havok. PISSED. The result is obvious. xXx beat [R] fair and fucking square. For the record, the REFEREE disqualified SPADE for TRYING TO KILL KIM. Kim had nothing to do with the final decision. Bloodbath didn't put forth enough effort to unseat Yasu instantly. Nightmare's RPs were three times better than usual. Dante was finally on his game. I had to judge this match for booking reasons. Adam failed to deliver on the NGIW Championship match. hide and Chester were about even. I had to judge this match on booking reasons as well, but to anyone who thinks that means Chester didn't earn it I'll simply have to point out that you're wrong. The Rangers match and Pixie/Vicky were judged by Lita/Dai, and Joe respectively. I had nothing to do with their outcomes. Anything else I did, whether it be how a match went down or how the finish ended was just me trying to make this fed more interesting since as much as people like to whine about not being in a storyline, rare is the occasion that someone wants to actually put forth the effor to create one. If you don't like it then you probably should've told me different beforehand. RPs this week were almost entirely far above the bar in quality. I have hopes for almost everything that should come to pass in the following weeks, except for this Hibiki gimmick. I'm sending that one to Herod. I leave you with this; if any of you... ANY of you have a problem with what I'm doing, with how I'm booking, with results I've judged, or ANYTHING. You come talk to me. You can do it in person over MSN. There are times when I am appearing offline because I am working and only feel like being distubred by select people, but if I'm on I'm willing to indulge you. You can PM me if you like. Joe, Dan, Dai, Blight, and others can attest that I do indeed read and respond to PMs as speedily as I can. Joe and I have actually planned out the entirety of this Pixie/Roxie angle so far via PMs. You can even address me publicly on the board. I might not be happy about it, but I have no problem answering your questions where all eyes can see them. I have no porblem trying to come to an amicable solution to your issues... BUT I CAN'T FIX SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW IS BROKEN. There. Done. EDIT: No, wait, not done. Nightmare I need to know when you want your match before I can book the card. Let me know ASAP. EDIT II: Blight did the Blight promo, which I'll post in full elsewhere. Joe did the Joe-related promos. Thots? |

What exactly does "booking reasons" mean? Also, if it makes you feel better, I threw my back out leaning forward in the car to turn down the radio. Never felt so old in my life. |

Well like we both said in the prediction thread, Nightmare would actually use the contendership. That's apparently what Wight meant :) |

Apologies to MinisterWighty for not realizing I was booked. A terrible waste of a proper debut that I feel I squandered. I seemingly dropped the ball on this opportunity. I do plan on making up for this in the future. I found the format of results to be quite interesting, not at all what I expected. I have never been presented results in a talking format before and found it a bit strange at first to be honest. I do however think I will enjoy it. Makes getting the results a bit longer as I can't really skim but I always enjoy things that are presented out of the box. I will have to take some time to learn all these characters but I found some of the storylines to be very interesting. Look forward to my time here. |

What Nightmare said, sir. It's the fact that Dante would've have used the contendership. Now that I'm calmer I can explain that I made it so that Dante didn't lose face by having SLAG interfere to cause the win, plus it furthers the SLAG/Nightmare thing. |

Yeah, I liked that. Keeps Dante and Nightmare both from losing clean, and it furthers things with SLAG. |

I'm not sure I get that, to be honest. Dante lost because he said that he wouldn't use the contender spot. But Hype was pushed to a title feud with hide after saying he was going to destroy the title belt. It's not exactly apples and apples, but it's not apples and oranges either. It's more like apples and apple sauce. As far as losing face goes, I don't really think I agree with that. In fact I think I'd prefer if Dante just not be booked for a while since I really don't know where he can go from here. [size0]edit: [size0] Honestly it's starting to feel like it doesn't matter what I do with him, it's just a waste of time for myself, whoever he's facing, and for you to book him. |

Gonna try to go over this match-for-match. If I forget to mention something, it's likely because it has slipped my mind. Show was long as hell and some of it not what I expected. Loved the opening match that closed the Rangers/Sakura arc. It was something that I was happy to finally finish just because it feels good to have finality to the arc, but I really loved the Rangers vs. Sakura stuff. It was so much fun. Glad that Lucas managed to beat Miko. I would've been devastated if he had lost, to be honest. I just couldn't seem to find that motivation and put it in actual RP format for some reason. I think I did much better at the Valentine's Party when Lucas was drunk, so maybe I should've got him drunk for this. Lol. Knew that Kim was gonna lose to Roxie. I would really love to have a strap on Kim so that I could come up with clever ways for her to avoid title defenses or win by the skin of her teeth, but it was another match where I was unable to find motivation for RPs. Roxie has her own thing going on and while Kim was involved at first, she really doesn't care about Roxie's love drama and I can't make her care. So yeah. Yay for Billy. Sad for Havok. Not much more that can be said. I absolutely adored the Queen's Rules match for the Tag Titles. Kim was written perfectly! I busted out laughing when Kim told Spade that glaring at her was against the rules. I pretty much knew that Kim would have so many dumb rules that R would snap on her. That, or she'd do so many rules that xXx would get confused and start breaking some by accident. The awards had a lot of awesome moments. Can't believe that Lucas won so much. I'm flattered that people voted him best athlete, couple and story arc. I think he won story arc last year too... maybe. Chester getting the Year of award was really awesome and was only topped by him getting the NGIW title last on. I cracked up at him taking titles from R. He would totally do that. Lol. Also, lay off Jaime's music, okay? Maybe if you guys would've voted for her and/or Grant somewhere else, she wouldn't have needed to win entrance music to get a spot on TV. The girl is having a baby in a few weeks. Cut her some slack! Forgot to tell Wight that I wanted Kim at ringside for Yasutora's match just to support him. That was my bad, but I suppose we can get technical and say she was there and it doesn't change anything. After all, she wouldn't have interfered anyway since it doesn't look like she would've needed to. Happy that Yasu retained as he's one of Kim's clients and she likes having championships under her management. Dante vs. Nightmare was cool for what it was. I'm sure HooLu is happy that Nightmare has his contendership since Nightmare is one of Horus' clients. Not sure what to say about the NGIW title match. I'm ecstatic that Chester won. Truly surprised by it, as I thought for sure Dai's last RP that went over my head may have been the skull crushing finale. It's been almost six years since any of my characters have been the top champion somewhere. I don't really know how I'm supposed to react. Especially considering Chester took it from one of my favorite characters (and a lot of other people's favorites judging by the awards) and one of my favorite RPers. I'm kind of bummed because of that, since Dai had told me how much he loves being NGIW champion. Though, viewing the BLACK card, looks like he might get back to liking it sooner than I would've liked. LOL In closing, Boy's hair actually looks pretty good grown out. Shocking. |

Excuse my rushed thoughts. I didn't put it properly because I wasn't aware this was something that was so dire. But you've asked some intelligent questions so I'll give you some intelligent answers.
Not using the contendership spot renders the match pointless. Unless Dante wanted to feud with Nightmare, I suppose, but I really don't see that being balanced or serving anyone. Adam, on the other hand, managed to find himself in the title scene by "accident" in-kayfabe. He reached his lofty position because others thrust him there. Additionally, destroying and disgracing a title like that is an excellent heel thing to do. It sets up storylines. Adam's contenders can be NGIW die-hards like... well, hide, Nightmare, and Dante who embody what NGIW is about and are disgusted at his treatment of the company. Again, other than starting a feud with Nightmare (which I don't understand why you would do) I can't fathom what would come of Dante winning the Contendership then pissing it away. Where do I go from there? Another contendership? From who? Adam vs. Nightmare this time? Adam's clearly tired of his own schtick (as evidenced by his post saying that Hype is going to step down for a while) and Nightmare... well, could've won this match. For the record, it was the support you and Nightmare both gave that Nightmare should win the match because Dante wasn't going to cash in the title that lead me to that conclusion. So perhaps you should ask yourself the same question.
You would think that being defeated fair and square by Nightmare would've made Dante Coles look good? With all due respect to Nightmare's recent accomplishments, he's had a history of being almost a joke. It's only been semi-recently that people stopped using his name as a punchline, calling him Noncemare and Ham-Fisted Hammy Ham. How could it possibly be better for Dante to lay down for him than to have him lose due to some asshole's interference?
I have no idea what you're talking about. I have no problem honoring your wishes to not book him, but I seriously don't know what you're getting at. Dante has done little else aside from float around the NGIW title scene since he got here. There is literally only one reward above that one and it's not my fault you haven't managed to claim it yet. Even your win-loss records look pretty good. One solid win on your debut, another win in a three on three where you (let's face it) carried your team to victory. A loss, but you weren't involved in the decision and only a hair too late in making the save. You won the NEXT match by first blood, the next match by pinfall (over Nightmare even), and the match after that by pinfall as well. You battled to a draw in the Match of the Year; a match that didn't include fire or glass or gimmicks. You lost to the NGIW Champion by pinfall, sure. But due to interference. You lost to Chester (NOW the NGIW Champion) the following week and beat down Hype the week after. Then you lost via DQ to Nightmare. So in case that was too much text to keep up with, thats 5 solid, legitamate wins, 2 legitimate losses each to the most recent NGIW Champions, 2 losses by DQ due to interference you didn't ask for, and 1 draw. I don't know why you're upset. I honestly don't. I will go one step further and ask the question "what would you have done?" If two people who have interest in the NGIW Championship were in a match, one legend truly deserving of the title and one guy who has come a long way from very humble beginnings... and the legend says "I'm not going to use my title shot and therefore invalidate this match even though I'm not a heel" and the humble guy says "I'll use my shot 'cuz I wanna win the title so I can finally retire". Then you look to the handlers' opinions and both of them say "let the humble guy win" what would you do? |

Doesn't the poll determining the ME for Burn do the same thing to the four matches that were to happen before hand? I'm curious as to who voted for Hype, because it was clear his interest in the character's shtick was waning quite a while ago. And this is not a shot at Adam, because I was honestly disappointed when he didn't seem to be as into it as he did at the start.
Not so much. But after calling it in the RP for the match against hide that Chester would come down, and the conversation with Ofdensen, I'd think Dante would be aware enough of what was going on around the ring with a contender spot on the line. And even the interference is sketchy. Why does SLAG help Nightmare? That makes no sense, unless his whole point is that Nightmare wouldn't be #1 contender if it wasn't for SLAG. Even still, Nightmare can't be that much of a joke, he's in a contender match on a PPV for the NGIW Championship.
What else is there for him to do? Continue to lose contender matches? Honestly I don't know what else I can do. I'm pretty honest with my work and when it's shit, I'll call it shit, but I just don't see it. I never did understand why Chester and Dante weren't awarded a contender spot when their match ended in a draw. To me, the obvious match for Burn would have been Dante vs. Chester vs. hide. He's lost to everybody that's a contender and there's no reason for him to suddenly feud with Chester now. Hype is gone, there's no point to feud with Nightmare, there's no reason to feud with hide. That doesn't really leave anything for him to do. I guess I could have him feud with Swytch but that seems counter productive.
Yet another reason to not bother booking him for a while. It's clear that you don't find my work with Dante worth winning a contender match, lord knows you've booked him in enough of them. And I'm not saying it's your fault, I never said it was your fault, and I never said I was mad. I'm frustrated and confused. Because honestly I'm reading peoples' RPs and I just don't see how they're getting into title matches. As I said above, I'll call it shit if it's shit, especially when it's mine. For the most part I'm reading stuff and it's the same thing they said last time they RP'd against Dante. And the next person repeats the same thing that person said, and the shit they're saying isn't even accurate (and I'm not even talking months between RPs, I'm talking week to week). Case in point was one of Nightmare's RP's for Burn. Either he started the RP, got well into it, then finished it after I'd posted 2 or 3 other RP's which pretty much debunked everything he'd already said, which he repeated from his first RP. Anyway, tag match was funny. Chester taking the awards was hilarious. Boy has a jewfro. That is all. |

*sighs* I meant to explain this last week, but the explanation got lost in the shuffle of everything I was doing. So yes, a deserved explanation. The four-way contendership thing was meant to be judged by... someone. I have no idea who. I had no idea what the quantifications for judgement were. I wanted to give it to Billy to judge in-character, but he'd just pick Hype so the champ would have an easy contender. We already did that storyline in a fashion, I didn't want to do it again. I thought about picking myself, but I tend to make unpopular decisions around here, so I decided to leave it up to the NGIW staff. The poll was meant to reflect how the four men performed in their matches.
Through process of elimination Joe, Adam, and a mystery person I'm not sure of. Could be Dai. Could be one of the other accounts floating around here.
The first point is "shrouded in mystery", to be glib. Without the glibness, only Bloodbath made sense to interfere in the match, but he would've done so on Dante's behalf and I really didn't want to re-tread that feud again as it just ended either way. SLAG is the only person tangentally related to Nightmare who would do that. As to his motives, well, it'll all play out in the following weeks... eventually. And no, like I said Nightmare hasn't been a joke as of the last few years, but old habits die hard, especially with those who are touch-and-go with e-fedding as a whole, like yourself. I mentioned above that dealing with egos has made me paranoid. I tend to function in a manner that tries to prevent upsetting as many people as possible. Obviously that effort is utter failure, but that's another story for another day I guess.
You're right. Your work isn't shit. It's equal. That's been my biggest problem booking and judging NGIW stuff since the re-launch. Everybody's pretty much on par with a group of people. Lower on the card is too easy, higher up is too hard... if higher up even exists for them. Personal problems, off weeks and miscalculated effort are the bane of many folks existence here. I don't know what else to say about that. Keep trying? I don't know.
They were awarded spots in the four-man competition, along with the last competitor and quite honestly "uh... um... I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually". Havok traipsed his way into the scene, but I really never meant for him to be in the final match so it was just a competition between Chester, Dante, and Adam really. To me, the obvious match for Burn would have been Dante vs. Chester vs. hide. I thought that too, but someone or something warded me off of that idea. It's been ages ago now and I honestly can't remember what or who. It might've been a bad feeling I had, it might've been the advice of another. I don't know at this point. It might've just been the fact that you as a handler seemed to want to cut off the Dante/Chester feud I'd been building and turn it into a Swytch/Chester feud. That seems likely. I had laid a wealth of groundwork for that and you suddenly bait and switched me. So, if that's what you preferred to do that's what you preferred to do. Only I suppose it isn't. Or wasn't. Sorry about that.
Havok is a clown. Chester thinks he's a monster. Giggles and Spade try to scare people. The Evil Girls and Bad Girls suck because they're reality TV and reality TV sucks. Tier is hardcore. Graver is a drunk loser. Dante is clinging to his lost legacy. This and people not being at the bloody door when it's knocked on are how RPs are done these days, I guess. I don't like it myself, leastways when I noticed myself doing it. But I don't know what else to tell you there. |

Great, now I really do feel like Lenny when he said "What's going on? I just got here." Granted reality TV does suck and the Bad Girls and Evil Girls have their down points, but...wait, what was the third thing? Results were...mostly as I had hoped. I'm going by the entire show here, not just my own matches. Those were results I had hoped upon. Miko lost, Roxie won, and...oh my god! A draw between Pixie and Vicky? Wwwwhat? Wight, how could you! I mean I'm a fan of drawing stuff out too, but this is just ridiculous! I'm placing the blame on you so I can save face. For shame, Wight, for shame. I'm sorry. They should beat that back of yours with wooden baseball bats. Really sorry. I've noticed your plight, and am almost inclined to help (with the multitude of characters in a single forum) by reopening my fed...but that never helps. It never does. But after all that ranting, don't you feel better, big guy? Hm? Good...because I do have a question for you. Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe? C'mon, it had to be asked! --edit-- Just noticed the RCR returning. Go Royal Canadian Regiment! Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Like a charm. It's cute. EDIT: Also, I train against the Boy. I am a professional when it comes to shutting down good jokes before they get out the gate. |

The Snacky-Smores Guy

That's my problem, I no longer have anyone to train with. There's work, but I'm hardly ever there because I'm at school, where I hate everyone for no reason. Oh well, the sig works, it's cute (which I suppose is big if Wight's using the word), so that makes me happy. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Who Let That Idiot Near a Computer?

Wasn't me; I didn't vote. Looking at an impossible match to win whoever it was. Billy probably would have picked Hype, but then hide would most likely have demanded it be one of either Chester or Dante. Not that I'm sad about it; held the belt for a year, pretty much. Time for a change. Not to take anything away from Chester/Lita. Had a blast as the NGIW Champion, had a blast writing hide as the champ. As much as I'd like to hold the belt for 10,000 years, it just can't happen. Congrats to Lita. Marked out for the hide impressions in the show, though. Rangers/Sakura was a hella fun storyline. Not exactly SRS BSNS, but all the better because it wasn't. A shame to end it, but hey, had to be done. |

Well... I guess I should just try harder next time. To confirm my "internet news piece", Hype is gone from NGIW. |

I wouldn't get discouraged Mo. Honestly I really enjoy RPing against you regardless of who your character is, because you make me improve an aspect of my roleplaying every time we go at it. People in basketball call that chemistry and I think I have great chemistry with just about everyone here outside of people I haven't faced yet. I have a lot of respect for you as a roleplayer and as a person, and honestly even though you have been kind of harsh about it in the past, you have taught me a lot of stuff that helped me improve my character. As Wight will attest and as I will attest, in the past, I fucking sucked. But I don't anymore. And I think that when I work really hard as I have since NGIW re-launched, and since I've proved myself against people I used to never be able to come into the same zip code with, I think once in a while I deserve to beat a guy of your caliber. Sometimes I will have an off week but thankfully that is rare these days especially against you, because you NEVER seem to have an off day (By that I mean when you struggle with Dante, you excel with Swytch. And vice versa.) Anyway, don't mean to act like a mother hen here. I just want you to know youre a hell of an opponent and I can't wait to face you again. :) |
