Sorry it's not video results, but I gave my answers before. This was a tough PPV to judge. I'm sure I fucked something up, but I always fuck something up. Promos courtesy of Joe, Adam, and Nir. Loon vs. Santa Claus was a fix, of course, but it's kind of a traditional match. I'm glad Lita suggested it. Eve vs. Lilith was decided by Joe. Kim vs. Claire was a good RP contest. I wasn't sure who I wanted to go with because both had a lot of interesting stuff and interesting character development. I felt Kim was a little bland this week, a little contradictory. I'm also not sure what the jabs about Claire's multiple personalities were since between her FBOTY app and her recent actions it seems pretty clear what was going on. There were some nice moments between her and Joe, and the catty bitchness was right on track with Kim Coulter, but the bulk of the RPs weren't exactly thrilling. On the other hand, Claire's work was sort of all over the place and kind of hard to follow, but I liked what was there. She seems like a really three-dimensional person and as fantastical as some of her stories are I really like where the character has come; the relationship with hide (both in origin and sexy-type), her past traumas, her hatred for Kim. Reminds me of a much less complicated Roxie mixed with Pixie Korpse with a lot of Adam's own special flair. I think I'd have to say this is the character he did best with this RP cycle. As a second point, I'd guess by the OOC comments made through a few RPs that I missed some minor shitstorm somewhere. I'm hoping it got wrapped up. If not, and I need to do something, keep me posted. Sara vs. Swytch was pretty straightforward. Swytch tasted a lot more like Dante than Swytch and I can't say the change is welcome. Plus, Sara really just Grant Rice'd him. To be honest, Swytch left the door open for it, so... yeah. There's that. As per 'Mo's requests I believe Swytch and Dante are to be released now? If that's no longer the case get back to me, please. Otherwise I'll just move their profiles when I book the card. I liked Joe's half of the Joe/Kim RPs more than Kim's. Perhaps because I'm still sort of learning about the character. Perhaps I just like his earnest intentions more than Kim's selfish ones. His non-date RPs were also really interesting and I thought some good character development occured. It's nice to see where he stands and all that. I think with another RP or two Brian might've taken Joe. I REALLY loved what he threw down, and I dig the character. That being said I had an easier time judging the match since Adam asked me to remove him from the roster via injury. I hope the route I chose wasn't TOO embarassing. I mean, HHH walks around and breaks his legs off all the time, so it shouldn't be too much for Brian. Good effort to the both of you. The tag match was REALLY close, but what pushed it over the edge were hide's interactions with Claire and a few things said in the last roleplay. For as much as I was impressed by Owen's work this week (and I was; expect that match against Chester once I put this week's card up) hide had a point about them being less-than focused on the tag-titles. Even with the comments about Chester it would've been nice to see the McConnaighs observe the rules with more care. It just says to me they don't care as much about the matches, and when it's close like that these little things are what make all the difference. Roxie's effort this week was interesting. REALLY interesting. But I felt Bloodbath has had nothing but pure development since early this year. I've been nothing but impressed with him whereas Roxie was a little light. Joe mentioned he hasn't been enjoying RPing Roxie as much, and maybe what I saw was that coming to the forefront. Either way, congrats on the retain, Adam. Chester vs. Giggles... eugh. Feh. Ugh. I asked for help from The People and two of them told me Giggles, two of them told me Chester, and one told me he couldn't decide. Awesome. I ended up going with Chester because I feel he had me beat in terms of actual promos and most of the reason people seemed to think Giggles should win is because they're ready for a new champion after all this time. I can't argue more. Now if we could only find someone to unseat him... I liked the stuff from people who didn't have a match this week as it was good character development. Very interesting stuff all around, and I thank you. For the record (and to prevent as much drama as possible) everyone did a great job this week. Nobody sucked. Nobody didn't put forth enough effort or anything like that. It's just as usual; somebody gotta win, somebody gotta lose. The card will be up some time after I attend to some stuff in FIW. Might change depending on certain reactions here. I dunno. I'd like to see some actual feedback for once since I put a lot of effort into the matches, though. Thots? |

I have to say I was a little too jazzed perhaps because Lita and I have come up with a nice little idea for a feud, and now it seems like it will be executed because Chester's still the champ (However, still would have really liked to see Giggles win). Dai's hard as fuck to beat as it is so I think he deserves to hang onto the tag titles for at least a LITTLE longer. :3 Match was awesome though. As far as the rules thing, Owen and Finn really aren't guys that care too much for complicated match structure and as far as I knew with those rules, they were the same as UWFi which means each team has a set amount of points, and the first team to get the other team's points down to zero wins. Not saying it's not a neat idea--it is, just Finn and Owen can't be bothered to keep the rules straight past beating people up. |

Also: I REALLY like the more-detailed text results. Consider doing that instead of the video stuff. As much as I like the videos, being an old-school NGIWer this is more my speed, what I'm used to. Plus it seems like it's easier on you. |

Did somebody say actual feedback? That's my special combo! Loon/Santa was a fun read, albeit I was confused as all heck when I first saw the match on the card, Lita filled me in as to the why. Glad that the face of NGIW old got to win over his rival. Take THAT, Santa! Eve/Lilith was what it was, brutal as the kids say. I figured Eve was going to win to give her some momentum. Disappointed Kim lost but eh, it was a relatively even affair RP wise, so I figured it might happen. Good match nevertheless, albeit was a little uneasy about the rusty blade thing. Cool to see Pytor in a match for the Steele Media event. :) ...Though who the hell is Crackerjack? Shame to see Samoan go & Swytch drop the belt but that's the way the cookie crumbles...or something. Congrats to Jo-Jo, the Evil Girls got some silver in their camp. Also if this is Swytch's swan song, it was a pretty good match to go out on. Midway match was good, nothing to really complain about, solid action all around and everyone got what they deserved I felt. Stoked to see Joe retain his strap, and bummed that Mauler is being kicked off the roster. I had hopes for that feud. :( Tag match was good, rules are still a little odd but whatevs. This was one of the matches where I wasn't sure who was taking it though I was leaning more towards BFO after that last hide RP. Crazy, multiverse hide is pretty solid. Interesting that Bloodbath left the contracts laying there...wonder if somebody picked them up? :O RCR went the way I thought it was going to go. Bloodbath's awesome when Triad's on and he was on this RP cycle with him, and I like Roxie but it wasn't Jo's best. Still a good match that I feel put both over really well, and made Roxie look like a potential contender. Wonder where she goes from here, heck, I wonder where Bloodbath goes from here... My sole exposure to Havok was the DLI earlier this year, so it took me a second to figure out who Graver was talking about. I was like "...the X-man? But his name's Summer.." Lol. Curiouser and cusiouser, if I had a beard, I'd stroke it. Main was amazing, and read like something out of a novel even more so than any of the other matches. I really found myself rooting for Giggles, albeit being creeped out by him too. It reminded me of something out of Sin City, the whole laughing bit. Sucks to be Giggles but hooray on Chester retaining, let's hope Giggles isn't dead. |

That was explained in her last RP when she talked about Claire's tendency to bite off Barbie head as a threat to Kim the last time they met, then showed up at Joe's place to have a "civil" conversation with her, then flipped out over a single jab at hide. Kind of surprised your confusion over that follows a comment about Claire's stuff being "all over the place and kind of hard to follow". You must mean that in a different way. Really happy to see Chester retain his title. Annoyed by the comments that people wanted him to lose just because they wanted a new champion. I think that's a pretty shitty basis to judge a match and I'm surprised there are people here that would answer such a call with that kind of feedback. I understand getting bored with having the same champion, I'm sure I've been guilty of that myself, but I don't agree with anyone having that be a deciding factor in a match. Maybe I'm wrong and these people felt the RPs were so close, but it doesn't sound that way from Wight's comments (which could also just be Wight's wording more than anything). Enough of that. Wight, you wrote an amazing match for Chester and Giggles. I'm excited to see where things go with Giggles from here. |

I bet you threw in a vote that was based on that. lol. Though that's why I didn't judge the match, 'cause I would've said "Giggles because Chester is champ." He could've won the belt on the last Vice and I'd still say Giggles, though. Anyway, quick stuff for now; Yay! Sara won! The one Evil Girl that I never thought would win a title. Well, her and Gabriel. :smiles: :smiles: :smiles: What's Grant Rice'd? lol. Sorry, does it mean I was totally into a complete and utter slut eventually marrying her because she's the only girl who would give it up to me because it's what she does with every man and she's like "Joe, you're so awesome and cool and definitely the best looking boy in school" and I'm like "You're welcome, now the president needs me to fight some Comi-Nazis to save Mars from the Martians". Roxie's been hit and miss with me. I had more in depth plans with the inside Roxie's mind RP. Example, in case you were wondering who she thought was still kinda hot; Lucas, it was Lucas. Not too sad that she lost, it only means she'll go for another title. World title here she comes! Look out, Chester! Unfortunately that's it for now as I really do need to get ready for work. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

I did. I meant it literally. It was hard to follow the chronolgy of her RPs due to so much happening in the dinner date thread after her involvement and some other pieces of threads getting tied up... it was really a mess to sort through, but it can't really be helped.
Grant Rice is notorious (at least for me) for pointing out every flaw in somebody's argument to the point that the character has nothing more to say even if they wanted to. Their entire basis for being, for roleplaying, for acting, whatever has just been shattered. Like asking a super-villain what they plan on doing after they destroy the world and they go "Uh... I dunno. I never thought of that." And then they give up supervillaining because of it. |

That's interesting, because that's not what happened at all. What happened was, I thought Joe's "two" RPs weren't very good, certainly not good enough to win the Flycore. But I guess going "I'm so awesome, you're a poopy head" is what wins. |

That can't be the case, because if it were Dante Coles would be the NGIW Champion by now. |

Pretty sure it is the case, because that's Chester's whole thing. Just goes to show how little you know the character though. Dante never rolled in and went "I'm so awesome, you're all poopy heads" but GG on thinking that. |

Getting a little stuffy in here. But anyways, I was impressed with the show all around. Congrats to the winners. Better luck next time to the losers. Great effort all around from everyone. Saddly, it would seem our ranks have been thinned a little. That sucks. As far as dropping Brian Mauler goes, since being promoted at work I've been increasingly busy. I havn't the time to run three characters as furiously as I had to this past cycle. It just doesn't work well as I have to RP late at night for the most part or squeek something half-baked in when I can. I'd rather write one character well than three characters sub-par. Brian's the baby so he had to go. Union rules and all that. |

Yay. On the subject of the Tag Title match rules, I get that the McConns had their default "we don't care 'bout dem damn rules" stance, but after both Kanae and Billy had been seen to be doubting the advantage that they gave the champions, it would have helped for someone to say "Hang on, they're worried. Maybe we better look into this." I thought Giggles actually had the advantage with some snappy promos, compared to a somewhat reactionary & defensive Chester, but Chester had some better character stuff going on with April. The difference was slight either way. Sara is easily my favourite Evil Girl at the moment; and surely "I'm so awesome, you're all poopy heads" is the basis of all wrestling promos ever. More when I return. |

Somewhere in here. Near the beginning. I'm just going to be quick on this Sara winning situation, "I'm awesome and you're all poopy heads"...is basically her character, man. I'm sorry they can't all be in depth and serious. That's it. Also, thank you, Dai, for the compliment. It's always rare to see someone actually admit to liking an Evil Girl. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

If I didn't like her I wouldn't have put her in the match. That's honestly where she earned this shot from; I (and as such in-universe Graver) have been really pleased with the effor you've put into the character and I like how she rolls. She had a few good victories against big-name competitors and I feel the Flycore was a natural progression for her. |
