Once more asking for feedback. Anything will do if you have comments about the last season, or any season prior. Obviously Betsy is...well, you'll know when you read. And that person in the ruins is...again you'll find that out too. Anyway, big changes on the way over the next couple of weeks that should make the show a little more interesting. Thoughts? Comments? Put downs? Now's a good time, especially since people seemed pretty vocal about it in other avenues. Ak just saying is all... Yeah, I know I'm not funny making the same Simpsons reference over and over again. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

I think this was probably the best season. The whole deal with the mind-wipe was pretty dumb, but you really managed to salvage it with character interactions and really getting some good mileage out of Eve. I'm sure that's thanks in part to Nir, but I digress. Hibiki wasn't a huge figure in the actual matches, and I think that was by design? I have to say that Sara, Gabriel and Spice are probably my favorite Evil Girls trio, with Eve and Lilith of course being Spice's enforcers. I think in specific you and I have talked about the problems I have with the show both publicly and privately, but you've really moved to properly integrate aspects of reality by using clever camera cuts and so forth to mask the real crimes being committed by these characters. Good on ya. Keep up the good work. Please. |

I guess I can give something of a new outlook on the Evil Girls, seeing as unlike alot of the people around here...I haven't been here for years. :P Spice, I hate her but I hate her in the sense that I hate villains in stories. She's effective in her role and she's a curious read, she isn't cut and dry which is sometimes a good thing. Sometimes stories need, as Wighty and I discussed sort of last night actually, a clear cut villain but I don't think this story is one of them. Eve & Lilith, I admit I was surprised and a little disappointed when Brie first became Eve, because I liked Brie alot. However I got over that fairly quickly. Overall I'm neutral to both by this point, they're enforcers, they stand around & enforce. Betsy, for the longest time she was another one I was just neutral on. Probably because I think the only real appearance I saw of her was during the cycle leading into the tag titles match. Even there she played second fiddle to Spice, or that's how it felt to me reading the RPs. I really became to like her character, as horrible of a person as she is, during this last RP cycle with Joe & her meeting up and making the deal. Shame she's...well, been kicked off the show. Sara, funny thing, when I first joined NGIW I liked Sara. She was funny, in a jerkish sort of way, and she didn't seem to be that big of a player in the Evil Girls. As her push, both on the show and in your RPs, continued it seemed like you started exploring her more as a character. Then I found qualities to make me dislike her, in a good way. :P Gabriel & Hibiki, these two I'm throwing into a joint category. I have not seen much of them and I don't really have a well formed opinion on either of them. Gabriel's hints of betrayal a few weeks ago against Spice was interesting & I find it curious she's so gung-ho on always helping Sara with her coffee. Hibiki...I really only have the interaction with Joe to go on and there she was interesting. Ovverall? I find the Evil Girls interesting, albeit sometimes I've had a similar issue to Wighty's issue but to a much lesser extent. As was probably obvious by the debate that came up about it, I'm kind of in the middle ground of that debate between where Wighty stood & where you stood. Lol. Not really an issue lately though and I'm looking forward to what's in store for them in the next exciting season. |

I have put some thought to the problems of the show with the crimes going unnoticed, notice no quotations, and I think I came up with a half assed response that should hopefully have people go "...well...maybe that could work. Whatever." Other than that, thank you for the feedback. Yeah, Hibiki didn't get much time this season, which does suck, but it did allow for people like Sara and even Gabriel to catch a little light. Though hopefully what was seen of her was enough to keep her character intact. Who said Spice was a villain? Anyway, once more thank you both for the feedback. Party on. Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Sara rules. I said Spice is a Villain. Because she is. An awesome one, that I hate. |

Short, but still very sweet. Thank you kind-diddily-ly. Yeah. There was two people I based Sara on...but I can't remember for the life of me. When I remember, though I don't know if they're people anyone here would know. I don't know. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

My dislike of Spice is that she comes off very... unrealistic? It's like I'm reading a book written by Spice whenever she interacts with people. Nobody's responses ever catch her off guard, she's never put in her place by people, and it always ends up with Spice walking away on her high horse. I get the type of character she's supposed to be and I don't particularly care for characters like hers, but it just bugs me the way she always comes off looking like she knows every little thing about every character around her. Anyway, that's why I limit my interacts with Spice and anyone involved with her (as I prefer to not end up in a situation where I have to interact with Spice). I loved Brie and at first I liked the story of Eve, but now I'm not so sure if I do. It might just be the point of the story where the viewer is supposed to give up hope and wonder if this is just another sad story, but yeah that's where I feel like I'm at. Like we're going to be stuck with Eve and Lilith (for the record, I don't love or hate Lilith, she's just there for me) because Spice is always one step ahead of everyone else. We'll see where it goes, though. I like the way it's incorporating a lot of outside characters for a change. Though, I know the lack of outside parties in Evil Girls storylines is not always by Jo's choice as he's constantly reaching out to people for interactions. Sara is alright so far. She reminds me a bit of Catherine in character, but not so much that I feel like I'm re-reading another character of Jo's. Not sure if I can remember much about Gabriel. I know she's usually around Sara, but my contact with Gabriel hasn't been that great. Even less than Sara. I know she's not an Evil Girl, but I love Roxie. She rules so hard. |

Before stepping into the ring Spice worked as a psychiatrist so she tends to be very analytical of people. Mix that in with the crowd she hangs out with (mostly the unresponsive Lilith and Eve) and you have someone who has very poor people handling skills. She sticks herself in her room only to come out when she's either walking or when she feels it would be beneficial for her. I didn't want another person who picks fights, so I had her (in a way) ignore Chester's and Lucas' comments/insults. She knows what's going on so she avoids confrontation. She's like one of those high corporate type bosses like Blofeld, Dick Jones, or Hans Gruber. You want them to fall but you know it's gonna take something special first. Or that's just how I see her. :P I like working with people more on the outside then thinking up my own things. That way even I don't know how things are going to go down. I mean I can probably count on my hands how many times I did a solo show with complete intro and outro and all the good stuff because just about everything else has been working with someone else. I will say though that most of the "bigger" ideas weren't based on outside involvements but others things have been. Like the rise of Sara for example. Eve...I think I've said this before, but Brie was destined to become Eve. Build her up as quickly as I could, give her as much personality I could, give her little quirks to make her "normal" like knowing a bit of magic and having a dream, then take a sledgehammer to it.
Who doesn't? lol. I mean besides Jaime, because she's not in love with Roxie. She's infatuated by her. :P Thank you muchly for the feedback. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |
