All righty. Hope you all enjoyed the full-ish results treatment. I'd like to do this for all PPVs in the forseeable future, unless I get my hands on a sexy camera so Two Nerds can resume. Me and all my friends won all the titles because clearly I find self-fulfillment through strongarming people on an internet message board. If you don't like it, go fuck yourselves. Thots? |

... if it wasn't obvious the above was a joke I have a rich cousin who's a Nigerian prince that would like to speak with you about your bank account. This PPV was odd for two reasons. First in that there were a lot of matches that were hard to judge, and a lot that were really easy. In fact, I think it was kinda split down the middle. I asked for outside input as more of a fact-checking tool than anything, and I appreciate those who gave it. However, do not mistake what I asked for as a "vote" a la FIW. That was never the case. The second thing that was odd is that a lot of the results were driven by storylines and the storylines that could be built around them. It played a factor in my decisions in basically every match, and that's sort of rare for me, but I'm not entirely unhappy with it. The opener seemed close between Lucas and Roxie, but speaking to Lita throughout the week we both felt that Lucas had fewer options with the contendership right now and I figured Joe had done a lot to deserve it and he has more buildup to it. Wiggum and Finn was a match I feel was pretty easy to decide. Not that Finn's RPs sucked or anything, but more that there's an obvious difference between 85% and 90% and that's what I was looking at here. The Midway Championship was interesting in that EVERYONE who I asked told me Markon should win, whereas I legitimately felt Joe Stanton should pick up the victory (based entirely upon the awesomocity of his unlce). I spoke at length with Lita and the Boy on the matter and it was decided that it would better serve the storyline if this were the mid-point of an angle that continues until MADNESS. I also know how Joe Stanton has kinda been deprived of a real feud since he got in here, with his opponents dropping off the map for one reason or another, and I'd like to be able to give him something decent to work with. The RCR match was very similar, except in the opposite direction. I felt Club had the edge over Bloodbath (albeit a teensy one) and everyone else informed me of the opposite. Most of what really brought me to my decision is, again, the potential for the continuation of this storyline. Adam and the Boy have both given me a few great ideas that I thought worked best with a Club victory here, and I can't wait to see them carried out. Either way I'm sure nobody in this fed would say that Markon and Intensity don't deserve a run at their respective titles, even if it ends up to be only for one PPV cycle before dropping the strap back to the former holder. Not saying that's GOING to happen; just that it's a possibility. The tag match didn't feel hard for me, but at the same time I kind of doubt my actions. The split was about 50/50 as to who should take the match, so I visited my old friend Mr. Storyline to see what was possible. I think my biggest complaint with the Kanahide RPs were that they felt kind of stale, and I really feel that especially the last RP Dai put forth brought the gimmick to a close. I know he's got some ideas for Kana-chan and I have a few for hide that would be great places to finally see them go. Without the tag straps around their waists, perhaps we can actually visit these ideas with a bit more attention. The attention they deserve. On the other hand, Sex and Violence would suffer a major blow to have all this hullabullo about returning only to fall flat on their faces, so I figured they'd make decent victors. I do also have to apologize because I kind of bent the rules of a BFU match. I know suplexes/drops/tosses/etc. don't count as knockdowns per the rules, but forgot about this until about page 4. At that point I really didn't want to re-write the whole thing, so I just went with it. Blame the title loss on this bit of tomdickery in-character if you want. Say Bill's an idiot or Ofdensen changed the rules. Say that it's a previously unmentioned Black Feather Ultimate variant or something. Or pretend it never happened. Whatever you have to do. If I had remembered from the start, I wouldn't have angled the match so hard toward it. I wish the main event was harder to judge. Fact is I kind of agree with the Boy's commetnary, although to a much less harsh extent; Owen is like Finn McConnaigh, but with less strength of character. This is probably why they work so well as a TAG-TEAM, but for the purposes of this angle obviously one of them had to fly solo. If you were to pick it again, I would suggest Finn. I honestly read through the Owen RPs and thought to myself "man, these would be so much more awesome if Finn were saying them". I dunno, the guy just has a speech pattern and a mentality that I can really get behind. It doesn't help that Lita was fucking on-point with her hilarity this week. So, congrats to the winners, congrats to the NGIW Award winners, congrats to everyone who RPed because they did so damn well, and thank you for the promos, those that sent them in. I would like to see some actual, more in-depth feedback since I went to so much trouble for the show. I'm sure taking half an hour of your time to give me some input on somewhere around twelve hours of work isn't too much to ask. I'd also like to mention that from this point on, Nir will be in charge of the NGIW awards and doing them once per PPV cycle. The exact method behind everything hasn't been hammered out yet, but this power is granted unto him as of now. We'll likely still have a yearly awards show since a lot of the awards (music, outfit, etc.) are kind of stupid to have month-to-month. Card later tonight. Maybe tomorrow. Thots? |

Where the hell to start? Oh, the beginning. That makes sense. Thoroughly enjoyed the Riot Match. I loved that Lucas and Zero had to fight each other and I thought their match was so cute. Especially liked that Zero hugged Lucas So cute! Okay, I'll stop being a girl for a sec and say that the actual action was a nice read between the competitors. The finish was pretty cool too, even if Lucas is so much awesomer than Roxie and really any Jo character so the actual winner didn't make sense. Am I joking? Only Jo knows. ;) Wiggum and Finn was pretty much what I expected. I really love the dynamic of these two as competitors. It'd be nice if they had a reason to hate each other because a Best of Series would be bomb between these two dudes. But then without any hate, the RPs are really limited which is what I think was the problem this go round. Wiggs had trouble getting his head into it and I imagine that's why Will didn't put up the kind of fight we usually see from him. I'm happy that Wiggum won purely for my own storyline purposes. Kim's journey towards an NGIW Championship client continues. Interesting is a good way to describe the Midway Championship bout. I asked Wight to inform me of the winner once the decision was made because I felt too close to this situation to weigh in on it. Wight is my bestie and Tom has become one of my best friends. On top of that, Joe is Kim's boyfriend and Markon is her client. So I didn't want to be involved, however I did actively get involved in how the match should go once Wight told me the plan. As much as "shady finishes" can be cliche, I felt it was needed in this contest. There's just too much fire between Joe and Markon to have the mid-point end any way other than shady, in my opinion. I hope Tom isn't upset with this loss cause I feel there is SO MUCH to RP out of this match and I'm so excited to see where everything goes. Not really sure how I feel about the RCR match. On the one hand, it was true NGIW gore and that's always good. On the other hand, it was fucking nasty! Loved that Kim looked grossed out. It made me smile so much. Saddened that Bloodbath lost the belt as Adam has been doing amazing with him, but damn if I don't love Club to bits! This could be a really awesome feud continuing into the next PPV. The Tag Match was the only one that caught me by surprise. I was almost certain that KhAiNdAeE was retaining. I love Kitazawa (most of the time) and I thought for sure that pure Kitazawa power was going to muscle through this challenge. A little disappointed that KhAiNdAeE didn't retain and Lucas didn't win the contendership. I was actually looking forward to seeing Lucas and hide interact again with Lucas challenging his best friend for the belts. Oh well. The match was an incredibly awesome read. I could really tell that Wight was enjoying this match. I don't think anybody came out of it looking bad in the end, which is good since we love KhAiNdAeE. The main-event was so much fun! I told Wight on MSN that my favorite part of the whole show was this little bit here:
I laughed so hard. That's So Chester! Really happy to see Chester retain, which should not be a surprise... both me being happy about it and the fact that Chester retained. I mean, you all should just expect it now. Chester is awesome and he'll tell you if you didn't already hear. A great effort from Will, though. I really had fun with this angle. After the awesomeness that was Chester/Nightmare, I was pretty darn excited when Will asked about doing something with Chester and Owen. At least I know when I'm working with Will that he'll bring it every time. Also he's so gosh darn nice and just loves telling a good rivalry that I never have to worry about him taking something the wrong way and getting offended. The awards were nice to see. All three of my characters won something, so I can't be upset at all. Chester even took home five awards, so go with your awesome self! A little bummed that Chester didn't make the Legend Induction, but after everything I've said about Will up there, the Nightmare induction is certainly deserved. New sigs, folks! I told Wight on MSN that he and Boy should be really proud of their victories this PPV. I feel the last batch of champions we had (Stanton, McGrath, and KhAiNdAeE) truly felt like the top of the pack in their divisions. So toppling these folks is truly an accomplishment. It's crazy that we have so many new champions when a few days before the deadline I was wondering if we'd have ANY title changes. Crazy stuff! ![]()

I'm going to start off by saying I hated the card. Like really hated it. Well maybe just my match, the others I could live with. I don't mind being thrown into a random multi-person match, but the thing I hated was having three of my characters in said match. That's why I didn't bother wracking my brain on anything Craig or really Sara related. Just would've been wastes of time. Maybe it's just my view there, I don't know. And maybe it's because I've again yet to win an award, but I'm stealing all the glory of something here; "I swear, at times it's like the paint you drink is smarter than you are" All me. I don't care, it got mention so I'm making it my big deal. The one, shinning ray of light I got from the event. But again, just my view. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Truth time; it was only long, LONG after I booked the match that I realized Craig, Roxie, and Sara were all handled by the same person. Does that make me stupid? ... yes. But it could also speak for your ability as an RPer to so effectively portray three different people so... differently. I did love that line. |

Bummed I didn't take the NGIW title but you really have been a bigger Finn fan than Owen, and i think this feud was partially for me to develop a sense of character for Owen and I really really think I pulled that off well. I think I will make another run at the title with Finn; if Lita would like to meet me on MSN later we can go over the details. Owen looked great though so no complaints here. Tables match with Wiggs fucking ruled. I honestly havent had a lot of time to RP as either brother because of school and the insane weather recently, so I apologize to Wiggs for not putting up more of a fight. A Best Of series would kick ass. Wiggum's probably one of my top 5 favorite opponents ever, and I've been doing this a long time. Of course, I'm incredibly happy to see Nightmare made it into the Hall of Fame. I value him as my greatest creation and I think that inauguration means more to me than any title I've won with him. Thanks for picking him, guys. |

There was a time when I was totally burnt out reading full match results so I've been more then happy with the short results we normally get, but reading Wiggum v Finn I realised that actually I missed properly written out matches. It was great. The action, the flow, the commentary was fantastic. And Wiggum won! I really didn't know which way it was going to go. I still struggle writing him and as Lita said above it's harder when there's no real animosity between him and his opponent, though I will say it's a nice change to have a friendly rivalry instead of the usual face v heel slagging match. I've had a great time RPing against Will in the guise of Finn. I'm a big Finn fan like a lot of people here are and I love the dynamic between him and Wiggum, trading punches in the ring and pints in the bar. Also, Spin Cycle through the table. Classic. Only other match I read was the main event, which was also really well written. I was kinda torn throughout, part of me wanted to see the underdog snatch the victory, but then if Kim is grooming Wiggum for the NGIW Championship then I would really love to see Chester v Wiggum. I think those two could have an awesome feud. Congrats to Nightmare being Hall of Famed too. |

I did spot the rules were borked, but hey; this is wrestling. You should never let the rules get in the way of a good story. Did kinda know the result was coming when the Hayato Stomp didn't kill Spade; seeing as I originally suggested it for a spot to win on. Would have liked the win, to be the most successful tag champions since Hell's Belles. All told, can't really complain with how things went down. |

Riot Break pumps my nads. A well written show with matches that honestly could have gone either way. Congrats to The Boy for stripping Bloodbath of his coveted RCR championship. As I expressed to Wight in a PM prior to Riot Break, I'm hoping for Club and Bloodbath to tear it up again at Burn. Bloodbath needs a feud to mix in with all of his mental irregularity in order to properly push the character into this supposed Year of the Beard. Speaking of which, thanks to all those who voted for my characters for year end awards. I think Bloodbath walked away with a nice arm full of... Wighty's? I really, truly did enjoy the written format. I thought Wight really captured the event and put forth a piece of work that honestly blows most everything else out of the water, save the Colt Regan books which are absolutely still available for sale!... but, and I may stand alone, I honestly like the recorded two nerds webisodes better. They're charming. If it means pitching in for a new web camera, I'm game! The RCR match itself featured everything that I had asked for. Thanks for that, Wight. Hopefully, this sort of brutality serves to draw anticipation for their next match from you fine people! I'm looking forward to working with Club/Boy. He rocks! And you rock too. Yes you! |

I also enjoyed the video format. I could multi-task then. But I would maybe be a bit more partial with the written results if we could have one photo of The Boy up so we can further document his ever slow transition into A Wight. I guess it's true what they say, eventually people just start looking like their pets or vice versa. lol Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

The opener was fun and fast, I liked the pacing it gave and that you took the time to try to work everybody in as evenly as was warranted. Finn Vs. Wiggum was a blast to read through and it really did a good bit to display the whole friendly rivalry thing they have going on, Favorite moments include Finn booting through the table and the Torque Bow. I am for the whole best of five series idea. The midway match was an interesting read, I like that it was so so close and I like how the finish went, seems like a good second step in the feud. Markon and Joe have good back and forth energy and the Guy in Shades' quest to get his title back seems promising. favorite moments include the water bottle and the flash kick. The RCR match was... Brutal. It was mega awesome. It was gorrorcore and it made me super excited for a continuing feud with Bloodbath, as Adam is one of my favorite people to RP against and this match has set the stage for this to end amazingly. Also I want to thank Adam for giving me such golden material to work with, Bloodbath rules. Wight mentioned that the others he asked had Bloodbath down to win this one, for the record he didn't ask me but if he had I would have said the same, I thought he had me. Favorite moments include... the match, all of it. "The Man" promo was interesting, I am monitoring this now. I really liked the Tag Match but the BFU rules tend to get a bit screwy on me at times even though they aren't really that complex (which is why I don't envy Wight the task of writing the match, that would have been a pain to convey recording. I was actually sort of surprised at the result of this one, not as much as the RCR but still. Favorite moments include the HAYATO STOMP~! and "I GOT THIRTY FUCKIN’ POINTS, I’M GONNA FUCKIN’ SPEND ‘EM!!." The NGIW awards were cool It's good to see [R] cleaning up even though they weren't around for a good bit of the year and Kursur thanks you all (from an undisclosed location) for appreciating his sense of fashion The ME was fairly awesome, and about what I had expected, my own thoughts on Owen are similar the the Commentary version of me (but not nearly as harsh, I don't hate the character by any means) it just seems to me he's less mega cool Finn. Regardless it was a great match and Owen came away looking pretty good, which is nice. Favorite moments include Chester's "who put that there?" and the Death On the Wind off the ladder, Oh and Beppo McConnaigh, I damn near spit soda at the screen laughing at that shit. |
