Sorry for the shorter results. Not too into writing today. I'd say it was from Riot Break still, but honestly I did a lot of work on a few personal projects yesterday and it took a lot out of me. I gotta say, RVN did a LOT better than I was expecting. Walking into NGIW with a character concept who is smarter than the rest of the roster when one is so new to the environemnt is BALLSY, and it was done MUCH more fluidly than I expected. That being said, a few small errors Tammy made were very skillfully capitalized on by Dai, and Dai also delivered the single BEST Sakura Kikkawa promo I've ever seen. It exemplefied everything about her character, both KANAE, Sakura, and the woman behind them so well that The Boy even liked it. He also liked the Billy Walker promo, which speaks of its quality since he isn't a dyed-in-the-wool Walker mark like I am. I have some plans for Tammy to help her adjust to NGIW a little better, so hopefully after MADNESS we'll be seeing a refined RVN, a character who I think has a lot of potential. Being as the Zero/Lucas and Justice Taksforce RPs were about equal in length/effort/relevance/character development/story/timeliness/quality, neither group has an ongoing story which would benefit/suffer from a win or loss here, and I am on one side of the team and couldn't simply fall back on personal preference, I farmed the result of this match out to The Boy. He had this to say; "I found the meat and bones of the promo material more entertaining for the Justice Taskforce as I grow weary of hearing Lucas whine. I found the characters more entertaining in Zero/Lucas because Tara is so NEW and The Thinker is sort of... one-dimensional at this point. Kayfabe-wise Zero and Lucas are tactically the benefitting team in a handicap match; Tara has been forbidden from training and isn't really a wrestler whereas Lucas Torres is the most talented athelete in NGIW and Zero Rush is also very skilled. It seems to me that Lucas and Zero should win." (Paraphrased) The result of Evil Girls/Sex and Violence is my fault. I as GM took Joe to mean that Katie were to be facing Sex and Violence alone and thus advised Boy (and techincally myself) that the match was fixed and no real effort was required this week. As we know, it was discovered that is NOT what Joe meant, and with little time for the RPers in question to react, beyond what I did with Diamond in Boy's name (done in Boy's name 'cuz it's his character; posting the promo under either of our names didn't feel right, so I went with the one that felt less wrong) so I figured I'd just further storylines between the two factions to push the characters instead of granting either team a hard-line victory or loss. Sorry everyone. My bad here. I take full responsibility. The six-man was hard to judge. Going in I felt the Awesometeers had won it due to their really great group thread and Nir's very impressive first couple roleplays. I feel he sort of "fell" to Wiggum when it came time to a promo war, but I also feel that Wiggum was the highlight of Team Kim and had an excellent and hilarious week... then again, so did Chester. Bloodbath edged out Club, but only barely. Club had some good content but it was casual, whereas Bloodbath was really focused and that was good to see. Markon was the part of the exchange I thought was lacking. I wasn't sure how to react to the result and wasn't entirely happy with the way it ended up playing out, and I think that's pretty easy to see in Markon's actions. There was some quality character development, but I still feel that out of all six competitors his input was the least effective, so his team loses to the best of the other team. There's no reason to suggest that Wiggum and Adam did a poor jobl, however; GREAT stuff from both them, Lita, Nir, and Boy. The ME was... hrm. I don't wanna say it was fixed, but it was heavily influenced by storylines going on. hide was doing what hide does best, and he did it very well this week, but so was Finn. Billy Walker was also rather impressive in both his iterations, and that only served to add a bit more umph to Dai's loadout, but as to say who won in RPs? Well... I'd rather not. It would've been a tough decision and I've already had to make two of those this week. All I will say is that I thought both men did spectacularly and this certainly won't be the last we see of Finn in the NGIW Championship division. Thots? |

Figured Sakura was taking the opening match. Dai put out one of the best RPs I've ever seen him do period, hide, Walker, whoever, this week with her. Tammy was pretty solid herself though hard to compete with Dai when he's on. The tag match was what I expected. I wasn't fishing for a victory, sort to speak, due to the nature of the story. So the match itself was an enjoyable first showing for them. Happy to see Lucas get a victory. It's nice to see Spade doing something. I'm curious to see if the tag titles play a factor in this at some point. The six-man, hm, I wasn't expecting the victory, I figured with what Wiggum & Bloodbath did Team Kim was winning. So it was a surprise. Not alot to say about this one. Poor Finn, I feel bad for the big lug. He can't seem to buy a victory against hide. Albeit I agree that Billy Walker RP kind of tipped the scales more visibly into Dai's & hide's favor. Cool show overall. |

I was less surprised by the outcome, I kinda had a feeling the Awesometeers would pick up the win, I think they probably gel more as a team and they had that whole group thread going on. And they're called the Awesometeers, which is awesome. Despite the loss I had a lot of fun this week RPing with Lita and the back and forth with 'Nir. I think Wiggum is a far better, funnier character when he's being a bit of a dick, so I'll probably stick with that. |

The opener was cool, RVN seems like he could go places, but Sakura was on freakin' fire in the RP and it just wasn't something anybody was going to beat. Wight already posted my thoughts on the first tag match. It is nice to see Spade do something, poor spaceman has been on my back burner for a while, so it's good he's coming back into force with some actual character development. As always I love working with Spice and her minions when it comes to Spade, it's just so damn fun to see him out of his element and Bill Pumpernickel: Professional Cock-Block is only adding to that. The six man was pretty much a surprise to me, 'cause I know I thought Of Kings and Men was awesometastic and I got to hear first hand how much wight was cracking his shit up over Wiggum's stuff. Just goes to show what I know I guess ME was a good build up for both competitors I thought, and I am so glad Wight didn't need any of my $.02 because I mark out violently for both Finn and hide. |

Yay! Spice is fun to work with! The ratio is now 1:37! Slowly but surely all of your hearts will warm up to her. lol. I will admit, I do enjoy writing Spice most when someone is coming after her in a way. And as it's Spade I have no objection. Anyway, was a little worried there for a loss but figured so long as Eve got in a good stabbing then all would be well. But seeing as how that wasn't the case it's like Spade is now Trish Stratus and Spice and her minions are the Dudley's while Wight...you be Albert. Yes, a Backlash 2000 reference. I'm that old school. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Did someone say... Heeeeeeee-Daaaaaaaaaay?! Fun show. I dig Diamond the Psycho Mime. All he needs to do is incorporate the old Florida Brothers Mime Wall spot, and he'll be my favourite wrestler. We need more Bloodbath wrecking shit, too. And Wiggum; where did Wiggum come from? Actually, the cheesy fake advert for the PPV was pretty good, so a return to form isn't completely unexpected. As for me, well, I had some shit that sounded cool in my head, and managed to make it work. Wahey for me. |

hide's title shot will be before Roxie's. Roxie gets hers at the next PPV. hide will get his at one of the weekly shows prior to the PPV... at least, that's how I understood it. |

Yep Roxie's shot is at MADNESS...the Macho Man tribute show, I'm assuming. --edit-- Forgot these. Sorry...for those that give them a listen. Evil Girls Opening (The first 20secs are just slow setup) Evil Girls Closing (Yeah, I know...if only. *sigh*) Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |
