Well, another Vice started off with an apology. Only in posting the show did I realize that when fixing the card I accidentally deleted the requested match of Jessica Knight vs. Bloodbath McGrath. It was completely by accident, I assure you, and I was actually kind of surprised Nir hadn't mentioned it sooner via PM or something, but then I saw Adam's "retirement" post for Bloodbath and became even more confused. Did... you somehow not get that I was shaping you up for the NGIW title? In point of fact, the only reason Bloodbath wasn't booked at all was because I had meant to book the requested match; if I hadn't I would've booked Bloodbath vs. Wiggum to see who got first crack at the title at Requiem. In fact, I was going to book that THIS week. Other than that I don't think there's too much confusion in the results this week. Obviously the ME, Zero's match and Lucas' match were basically a work (though I wasn't 100% aware of that until midway through the week) but I still thought all participants did well. Well, except for me as Zero and Joe as Dexter. Man won the match on three words and about five seconds of screentime. Hilarious. Keep breakin' those records, Joe. I liked what Tara had to contribute this week but her points were sort of all over the place and amateurish. I'm positive given her character that was the intent, but compared to the more refined and processed RP we got from Jamie it just didn't make the cut. Card up later today (Thursday). I'd like to hear from Adam about what's up with Bloodbath before I go ahead, but I DEFINITELY need to hear from Lita about something else involving the card so I can't post it qutie yet. Expect little tweaks around the site to occur off and on, I'm just trying to get a slight change of scenery. As lovely as it is, I've been staring at the same website too much for too long. Thots? |

Yeah, my RP efforts sucked the big one this week simply because I wasn't in the mood to RP. Mostly because of the beautiful weather we've got going on outside. Believe me, you live through a Canadian winter and the first warm day of spring will have you out and about too! But also because of some life stuff. Anyways, yeah. I sucked and that's that. As far as Bloodbath goes, I know that Wight wants to bump him into the NGIW title picture, but Bloodbath doesn't know that. He's not retireing from NGIW, despite what the RP suggested. He's just damn embarassed to have lost clean to Club in a match that he came up with. I was more or less hoping to get a Kim/Bloodbath thread going, but it didn't happen because I didn't indicate as much in the subtitle. Anyways, fear not, friends. The Bearded Bastard Butcher isn't going anywhere. |

As to the Main Event: first thing's first, Sakura is not in a position where she can/will/ought to win the NGIW Championship. Best that could happen is that she somehow gets put over in a loss; and honestly, I wanted something a little more than a line about how she put in a good performance and looked better for it. There had to be some moment where she moves forward as a character, building on her slapping Chester in the tag match a few weeks ago. Kicking hide where he's missing a rib qualifies, I reckon. So yeah, it is what it is. |

Didn't Wiggum already win contendership by beating Finn in the Best of Seven Series? |

Um. No. That was what the characters, their managers, and some of the announcers said but it was never made official that I recall. The idea that such a victory would be the last catapault to the NGIW title scene for either Finn or Wiggum. That being said, both men will be getting a shot in the near future. This match will just determine who gets it first. Card up in, like, an hour. |

Is it correct that Bloodbath and Wiggum are booked twice? |

I am dumb. *sighs* EDIT: Card has been updated, changes made due to requests from the RPers and nice people pointing out the very obvious. |
