Quick and dirty. Spectationill's stuff seemed lazy and juvenille, and I don't mean they as characters (I'm aware that's sort of their gimmick), I mean the intent of their roleplays. Not as impressed with them during this run so far. They seem kind of... I dunno, directionless. Sentiment was echoed by others. Didn't bother to look into it any further. Bloodbath was after the deadline otherwise he wouldn't have taken the fall. Hard to say who would've. Maybe Lana, but I can't be certain on that. Her stuff wasn't bad, it was just sort of all over the place and most of it was "unaired". I'm not sure how to judge that, honestly. It's one thing to post an RP that your opponent doesn't know how to respond to, it's another thing to post one that says they can't in the sub-title. Not that it mattered. Nothing very compelling, no real sign of the gimmick that won her the Midway title in the first place, and overall just not as enjoyable as either Morgan or Kursur. I went with Kursur because in the end Kursur has more to gain and more to lose from taking the fall, whereas Morgan is a part-time character and thus not destined for any palpable success anytime soon. Had they both been full-time characters (or both part-time) that might've affected my decision making; the RPs were pretty even. I liked what Kim and Rin both brought. First Kim/Joe relationship thread I've seen in a while that didn't bore me to tears and that's a good thing. I love Dai's interpretation of the Rin character and am glad I didn't get up something sooner because I would've gone in the other direction with it. Kim had more, so Kim wins. Kind of a shitty thing to hinge a victory on, but that happened to be the difference maker. Not the most positive feedback, not the most positive show. I'd really like to see at least three more handlers joining soon, otherwise I'm not sure how effeciently NGIW is going to be running. It's gonna end up being a lot of the same faces revolving around one another. Tell your friends, tell your other e-feds, etc. etc. Nir had the initiative to put up some advert for us and hopefully that will pay off sooner than later. Because of this I have officially named him NGIW's ambassador. He acts with my authority on matters of foreign relations until such a point where I say he does not. S'all for this week. Card up sometime tonight. Thots? |

Show went pretty much how I saw it going. Fun read but not much to say other than yup, that went how I saw it going, yup that too, oh and that as well. :P I did find it interesting that The Man confronted Bloodbath. Curious to see if that'll go anywhere. If so, Kim might end up with only one client left. And if that's the case, so much for her stable. :P |

Yeah, I noticed that and considered not doing the promo after all, but The Man would do it and I'm sure Bloodbath will turn him down anyhow. Hopefully I'm not wrong. Not to say that I wouldn't be thrilled to work with Adam. Just. Y'know. Not trying to be a dick to Lita is fun. |

I can dig that. Would have liked to do more with Rin, but hey ho. Real life and a UIC match got in the way. Also, Bloodbath needs to man the fuck up anyway. |

Just wanted to say that I really like Robert Morgan, he's fun to watch. Also, I'm of the opinion that if the Bloodbath RP had been in time I would have been beaten handedly, even when he's mopey I love all things Bastard Butcher related. That is all. |

Only two lines of Lana's went unaired and they had nothing to do with the match. Just a short explanation as to why Alanya would appear in Lana's room. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Well, if you weren't worried about it then I'm not worried about it. It seems like you have a good grasp of what you do and don't expect to be counted so that's one less thing I'll have to fret over. Thanks. |

My own philosophy in life has been to help others before helping myself. I've tried to live up to that in my time e-fedding, sell others before selling myself. I understand that there have been/are times when I stray from that either purposefully or accidentally, but for the most part I've always at least made the attempt. Perhaps more so before than now. I can get into why on that but that's in a way a different story. Respect is what I've been trying to get across to everyone, scheduled opponents or just random individuals. I can safely say that the times I've had the most fun writing is when I was selling a character at the expense of my own. Mostly, I'll admit, because my ego was curious to see how they would react. If they would react. No reaction didn't always mean frustration, I know at times I would first react and then ponder things later. Most times because it would just be excitement built up on how they would respond to just see nothing... For those instances I do apologize. But we're still on the topic of respect, and to me respect here is an acknowledgement of your opposition. Not a full blown "this is what I think of such and such" but at the very least a minor mention that doesn't get instantly ignored. I understand that not always something of the opposition doesn't come to mind, and I understand the rules reflect as much, but for disrespect to be rewarded and then salt thrown into the wounds? My apologies if this is both a little on the harsh side and a little sudden given the distance of time, but I'm trying to follow some advice and take things on a mature level. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |
