I have little to say. I have even less to say that's constructive.

Dark matches are obvious or storyline or both.

Onslaught's stuff was really cool. Sara wasn't bad just... I dunno. Contradictory. A little "lame", if that's good enough. Her character seems to be in transit or something, I'm not sure. Or it was during the PPV? Maybe I'm just missing something. Regardless, she would've had to work much harder to catch up to The Prince and that wasn't the case.

Tara and Lana were close. I actually really liked what Lana did in her first couple RPs. It petered off toward the end, though, and I felt Tara stayed strong. Very close match. Good job to both.

I don't even wanna think about what Ogre didn't do with that match. Man, after the other week with the Evil Girls this is all we got... I just... *sighs*

Main Event was hard. Both RPs were solid, about even I'd say. I would've loved to see more from both, but I guess that wasn't in the cards. I would've made it a draw, but since both guys made it very clear they're kinda running out of juice on this feud I had to pick a winner. I ended up having to pick a winner for booking reasons, and as much as I would love to see Bloodbath take the strap for storyline reasons, hide's a more solid investment as champ. I don't like it, but that's what I was given to work with. *shrugs*

So, yeah. There it is. I'll post the card tomorrow. I have a few kinks I need to work out first.

Thots?

I don't mind the losses, Sara's still in transition so still working her out. Would liked to have gotten the idea of the aftermatch so I could have helped in a reactionary from Sara. Only other gripe is wishing Nir had gotten in with something more from Tara sooner than the last few hours.
Party on,
Joe.

It was sort of a last-minute affair. Not the idea itself, but the promo. Just got it earlier today, actually.

Yeah, sorry. I wrote the segment and turned it in literally the "morning of". I made sure not to take any liberties (and certainly wasn't going to have her actually get burned). I tried to leave it open to an ongoing thing if you wanted it to be.

As for the rest of the show, I need to give the results a better read through. And like I said, I'll try to be on hand for the next PPV to help with full results.

That's alright, would enjoy keeping things going. No definite idea comes to mind though, just wing it and see what happens.

This isn't really feedback for the show, but I did like the idea of Ofdensen just randomly coming out offering something, and not just because it wound up being a title shot for Roxie. Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to see this idea implemented a little more. Only not always as a reward to the first one out, it should make people a little leery on whether they should go out or not. Like this week it's the title shot, next week it could just be Ofdensen being bored and wanting to see a real struggle so he books the "lucky winner" in a handicap match. It can also work in giving you an early start on making cards with matches, stipulations, gimmicks, etc. As well as build excitement, empty out thoughts (as you just randomly throw up an Ofdensen invite when something comes to mind) and...yeah. Shake things up from the norm. It doesn't need to be Ofdensen on some powertrip, just him throwing out opportunities. Some good, some bad, some hopefully downright unbearable. Just a thought.

Party on,
Joe.

And I wish you wouldn't RP Lana doing that "They're not talking" shtick you've done against Joe & Tara.

Guess we can't have everything, huh? :P

Truth is, I had intended to RP sooner but my characters got busy doing other things and I typically try to keep my characters active in only one thread at a time.

Wee, I wrote everything. Wee, all my characters on the card won. Wee.

I wasn't sure who was taking the Flycore, felt it was pretty close personally. But kudos to Onslaught for picking up the W. Also good job Boy & Dai on retaining.

Despite the shortened results, the show was still a good read. Stanton's promo was kind of cool, but I'm not sure if it was just venting or going to lead to some kind of "movement". I liked seeing the championship retentions. Feds where most or all the titles change hands nearly every PPV tend to annoy me. Its always nice to see a show that has a lot of retention, it makes the titles mean more.

I also hoped Ogre hasn't vanished on us. He was really seeming to get some traction.

hide rates below Daisuke and Billy, two well-known Sneaky Bastards in the Nagoya Possum Playing Stakes. He's a solid third, and getting tossed around by people like Bloodbath McGrath has helped him learn the hard way.

Nevertheless, this lone [lame] point of fact aside, hide was written spot on: hammering away with no regard for the crowd, his opponent or himself and doing some botchy looking high-flying along the way. The finish ties into his RP in a way which makes me weep with joy.

Speaking of which: blergh. Had the germ of an idea on Wednesday night, refined it a little in the day Thursday, but I went to see Pearl Jam in Manchester on Thursday night and got back pretty late. Incidentally, it turns out, Pearl Jam are awesome. Reading it back now, I guess it sort of came okay in the end. I sure as hell wouldn't have liked to pick between the two of us.

EDIT: Also, before I forget, those graphics were sweet. Not sure I dig the Red Hot Chilli Peppers for an NGIW PPV theme, but hey ho. I guess I just prefer their older stuff. Bit of Blood Sugar Sex Majik, maybe?

I would have RPed a second time but I was in Scotland from the 21st until today. Just got home actually! Nice place. Anyways, congrats to hide. I hope there's another NGIW title run for Bloodbath somewhere down the line.
