Thanks to Boy, Onslaught, Nir, Dai, and myself because I'm awesome.

Results mostly are pretty straightforward. I decided to actually give Nightmare the win because he RPed. Yes, it was late, but I'm aware of some stuff that came up around that time that prevented him from doing so. This isn't the kind of thing I won't do often, but I was literally speaking to him when things went down so I figured I'd throw him a bone rather than throw out the match entirely.

PiG won because of two people I asked saying so. I was kind of surprised by the result myself, but I promised someone I wouldn't second-guess myself and force myself to lose anymore, as far as it pertains to PiG.

Uhhhh... I dunno. Everything else seems pretty obvious. I can answer any questions thrown my way.

Added in the results missing from Black and White. BLACK card is up.

Thots?

Not that I don't mind the loss, I just don't think the week was Onslaught's best weeks. I'm not saying my stuff was any better, just saying that taking his stuff against Sara and comparing it to his stuff against Roxie and, to me, there was a decline of material. Again, just my own thoughts there.
Party on,
Joe.

I had some coaching on Ofdensen, so don't be too impressed.

Jo-jo, all things considered I agree with you. But if you weren't trying to justify winning the match I'm honestly not sure why you felt the need to bring it up.

On a more general note, I liked the fact that there were slightly more segments than usual (or at least it felt like there were), and they all felt productive as opposed to slapping something up for the sake of giving a character some face time. Each one helped develop a character or further an angle. It was nice.

Despite the fact that he's a fedhead character, I really like PiG and I'm glad he's getting pushed. Normally I'm not crazy about fedheads having a character, but if the match decisions are made impartially and the character continues to be an interesting main event contender it has my stamp of approval (whatever that's worth).

I spoke with Wight a bit more in depth about this event, forthcoming events, and some characters. I don't really want to offend anybody, but I'll refrain from posting it all here. You know, especially since I'm not actually in charge of the fed or anything. But I will say that the show was pretty enjoyable to read and nobody really did anything bad this week. Everything I read was entertaining in some form or another.

On the subject of Onslaught writing Ofdensen, it was so well that I actually had to ask Wight how that came about because it was so good that it felt like something Boy or I would've done WITH Wight. So good job on that. I'm really enjoying Onslaught even if Chester Wynn wants to rip out his innards with his bare hands.

I will say that I was one of the ones who voted for PiG in the contest. I love Dai and I absolutely love hide. That's not to say I love hide more than Dai, just that hide is... heeeeee-DAY! However, I felt that hide sort of lost a little ground by having Sakura get on PiG's case more so than hide did. I understand why it happened that way because Dai mentioned it to me, but it just didn't feel like it packed enough punch to combat what Wight did directly with PiG. As I told Wight, if it had been a hide promo that good against a PiG promo that good, then I don't know who I would've chosen because they would've been even playing field. I still love hide, though.

I absolutely love that Jessica Knight has THE POOOOOOOOOWERRRRRRRRRR! :)

Kursur and Joe looks like it could be interesting. It's rare to see Kursur get invested in someone that way, so it's always good to have a character that gets him talking and even better when they get him wanting to fight. I look forward to where this is going.

Stunned that Kotoha beat Zombie Black. I wonder if that wasn't predetermined or if it wasn't Wight second guessing himself. Kotoha had a lot of content with Waiyu that I really enjoyed but wasn't related to Zombie Black. I am bummed that promo didn't get to finish off, but what can you do? The one promo I did was Kotoha was loads of fun to write but I wasn't sure it was any good. Really enjoyed the Zombie Black work this week.

I have to say that the Prince is an intriguing character and I enjoy reading his work. Some colored text would be appreciated, but at least there's SOMETHING to differentiate between speaking parts and narrative parts. Roxie... I love Roxie again, I just have to say it. As I've mentioned before, Roxie doesn't work serious for me. She is not a serious character and when she tries to be then it just feels forced or like I'm being fed a brand new character in Roxie's place. I absolutely love Roxie's dedication with trying to become one of Kim's clients. Even if it never comes to fruition, it's hilariously enjoyable in the meantime.

I really enjoyed the hide/Joe promo that took place in the show. hide was hide and that's awesomesauce. Joe didn't do anything in this promo to provoke the headbutt, but that's where continuity comes into play from everything Joe has said about him recently and I love shit like that. Usually you read a promo or RP and it's setting up for a single match and then it's done. I love when something happens and the time I spent reading promos beforehand comes in handy. Great stuff, guys. Though, Joe could stand to be a little more of a dick and I wouldn't mind. After all, you're standing up to the biggest dick in NGIW... and that is not a reference to hide's manhood because we all know what's going on down there.

The main-event was good stuff and I just have to say what I told Wight about Boy/Club. I think Boy is at his best right now and I'm really enjoying Club more than I had in the past. Boy will admit that he's not the best writer when it comes to being thrown against people like Dai or Wight, but I've always found that he can turn it on when Club really has something to say and lately it's all been goodness. I've been a fan of Club since he became an active competitor (duh, he's Chester's bro for a reason) but right now Club is just climbing up the ranks by leaps and bounds. Honestly, if Dai weren't so dangerous when he's on, I would love to see Club make a claim for the NGIW title.

Bloodbath lately has puzzled me. Adam is pretty darn dangerous in his own right with Bloodbath, but I think he's suffering from Siryn syndrome right now. No, he's not an NGIW Diva, but I had a problem with Siryn where she would come across very bland or lost when she didn't really have a lot of motivation behind her or a reason to want to fight someone. Bloodbath seems to be suffering from this lately and I don't know what to do about it. When he's thrown against Joe Stanton, it's all fire being spit from both guys and they just don't stop. But there doesn't seem to be enough heat there for him against hide and his hunger for the NGIW title doesn't seem to be enough to nudge him over that edge and I think that's why he hasn't claimed the belt yet. That sort of happened this week with Club. Bloodbath struggled at first to find a reason for the match and after going with the RCR request he settled on wanting another shot at the NGIW title... that led through Joe. I think that's what helped Bloodbath the most this week and I just don't know how to transfer that fire he has for Joe against anyone else. So yeah... I don't know what else to say there.

I talked way too much for someone that doesn't run this place. Sorry if I offended anyone or failed to make any sense.

Joe didn't do anything in this promo to provoke the headbutt,

He touched the belt. That, along with the stuff he's been saying...

Re: the Sakura/hide thing; yeah. In the end, I felt that most of the Sakura was saying wouldn't have sounded quite right coming from hide, and I didn't really have a lot of hide stuff going on to start off with.

It will, and you know it will. Stop trying to delay the inevitable. :P

It was, as I said, comparative feedback. I just preferred the stuff with Prince against Sara than the recent stuff.

Party on,
Joe.
