Okay, folks! Good show. A lot of good RPs leading up to this show and some very tough matches to call. I'm gonna run down the show altogether for credits and whatnot.

Holland vs. Knight: Nir
This was an easy call. Holland was supposed to go over Knight but Will certainly worked for it. Some great stuff from Will even if this feud was a little silly for a character the likes of Holland. I mean no disrespect to Nir but I think everybody knew how this would end. Still, Nir did some great stuff with the feud and Will played it like a champ for this match.

Zombie Promo: Wight

Flycore Title Match: Short Results
I did shorties for this because there was nobody to take the match and I really just didn't have the time to even think about what to write for it. Sorry to the three involved for not getting a full match but the RPs were pretty dang good. Sakura's RP got tons of positive feedback and everybody seems pretty excited about where this character could go from here. I really liked the Claire/Spicy team-up RP. I think that could really go places and be lots of fun. Morgan was strained by Nir's lack of time, sadly.

hide Promos: Dai
Thank goodness this PPV has got some hide on it. I love hide and have missed him terribly!

Midway Title Match: Nir
I was kind of rooting for Tara in this just because she's been such an underdog champion but I do think it would've altered his character terribly to turn into a vicious animal against her boyfriend so... Wight did some great work with Zombie for this match and that's why he is the new champ. Congrats!

Empty Arena Match: Jay
I apologize for not being clearer on the Empty Arena rules but Jay did a great job taking this match toward the end and not having the match rules from the get-go. The Bloodbath RPs for this were very eerie cool and it's great to have the character back. Kaz's exit was Wight's decision and I think Wight made a good choice having Bloodbath be the one to take the character down.

Joe Stanton vs. Kursur: Nir
It was obvious that time affected the RP thread leading into this match, but sometimes it can't be helped I guess. Still, the Joe/Kursur storyline has been very entertaining but I think it's finally time to move on so I'm glad this match had the blow-off feel to it.

Red Crown of Rage Title Match: Nir
This was the hardest match to judge. Everybody seemed to enjoy EVERYBODY'S work and I can't disagree with them. The RPs were all great for this match and I'm really liking the feel of these sign-up matches. In the end, the person deciding the match said his gut said to go with PiG and I actually concurred.

Kim and Markon Promo: Lita and Wight

Lucas Promo: Lita

NGIW Title Match: Lita
I didn't decide the match but I am somewhat surprised by the result. I tried my hardest with Lucas but Jay is SO GOOD with the Prince. I had so much fun running this angle and especially this last run of RPs against Jay for the match. Some things happened that I didn't expect, but that's what made it all the better. It was tons of fun and I fully expected the outcome to be Lucas in the Danse. Now I'm not sure what's happening with Lucas and the Prince (but obviously I would've been confused by that regardless of the outcome given the Prince's mental state).

I just want to thank Jay for taking the Empty Arena match for me and thank Nir for all the matches he wrote, including taking the crazy RCR match because he knew that I did not want to write it.

Thanks to Wight for letting me run NGIW for this PPV cycle. It was tons of fun!

Didn't get to read it 100% yet, but aside from the one match that unfortunately had to get QR'ed it looked great. I too am glad Bloodbath is back for good, and Kim leaving is a huge surprise.

On a personal note, I have no fucking idea what I'm doing with The Prince now. I need help deciding, lol

Fucking brilliant PPV. Lita, you done good! I really enjoyed the Bloodbath/Kazimir match. Sorry to see Kazimir go, but Wight's a tease like that. Just when you start to get into his characters, he pulls them out and leaves you wanting more. From what I can see, and I'm happy to see it, people enjoyed the Bloodbath prison promos. I honestly didn't know what to do until the idea of running those promos came to me... and they didn't all come at once. But once I really got to thinking them through they came together nicely I think. Thanks for the feedback on them!

I knew ahead of time that Kim was leaving NGIW, which is too bad. She's a stand-alone character that brought something different to the fed. Hope to see her back sooner than later. What to do with Bloodbath now that he's roaming the SIN Arena alone now...

Didn't plan on winning either the Flycore or RCR titles, so I wasn't surprised/upset at all by the results. I have plans for Claire and Spicey and potentially others that will unfold in the immediate future. Speaking of, I'm still debating the Hype's future. Do I want to take on another character? I need time to think that one through, so don't expect to see him on TV anytime soon, folks.

Excellent show. Interested to see what Markon Charles' NGIW looks like. Congrats to Lucas/Lita on the NGIW title win. That character has really come to play this time around! Looking forward to this next PPV cycle!

Also: "That's a goddamn fuckin' shit-house lie." That line actually made me laugh out loud!

The Boy
The Boy
First off, thanks, this show was the topper to an already pretty good weekend. The Boy Announcer character wasn't lying, Hellraise is always my favorite Pay Per View of the year and this year is no exception.

The Holland Vs. Knight match was funny, and I actually liked the whole angle a lot. Proper end to the 'feud' I think.

Sad the Flycore Match had to get short results, but that happens, still good short results.

For the Midway, I'm gonna be honest here... I'm not a huge fan of the Zombie/Tara relationship thing. I don't why, I like both the characters individually, but together, meh. That said I thought the match was well written and I though it did a good job of displaying the dynamics that kind of thing should have.

Empty Arena Match: FUCK YES! This match was wicked, brutal, and a blast to read. Bloodbath doing what Bloodbath does best and the Siberian Shitstorm breaking face, solid work. Sucks that Kaz is leaving again but what can you do?

The Joe vs. Kursur match was great, seriously great. Nir really knows how to write the character well in a match, right down to the things Kusur will fuck up.

Red Crown of Rage Match: Fist off, I cracked my shit up at the Nightmare thing. Secondly, this match was badass, it had a really back and forth feel and it did a good job of given everybody a good amount of time in the spotlight.
EDIT: PiG's new entrance is sweet.

The ME was awesome, unlike Commentator The Boy I'm a huge fan of both The Prince and Lucas, the match was a great one for both of them, so I'm happy. Onslaught, I will work on ideas to toss out to you about where Prince could go from here, because he sure as shit isn't leaving, though I bet this Razors fellow would also be good, hmm... stuff to think about.

Alll in all, GREAT SHOW!

EDIT: Also: WOOT LUCAS IS FINALLY CHAMP!!!

NOTE: I added entrances to all but the Empty Arena and Flycore matches (and the ME, it had entrances already). There's a couple of small jokes here and there and I debuted a new entrance for PiG this PPV so if you wanna scope those out go for it.

Now to feedback... I should've done running commentary. I so rarely get to read any results as blindly as I got to read these and there were a lot of laughs and a lot of "oh wow!"s and a lot of "AWESOME"s. Suffice it to say if you think something you wrote should've been funny/cool to me, just assume that it was. Because it probably was. Lita did a fantastic job with the commentary throughout the show, despite how worried she was about writing Boy and I well. Plenty of laughs, and very good likenesses for both.

The opener was a fun read, but more in an "it is what it is" sense than anything else. I knew this result from waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back. But it's nice to see this storyline finally come to a close. The Flycore was also quick and dirty, but as Lita mentioned I really liked what Sakura had this week. I'd say I was surprised by it, but I know what Dai is capable of.

Glad to see hide on the show. Unexpected. I REALLY like the angle Dai seems to be running here. I'd make a couple shout-outs to what it feels like to me, but I don't wanna spoil anything for anybody so I'll just let it stew in its own juices.

I think Zombie was a *little* too aggressive in the Midway match, but honestly just picturing him shaking his head with some grim determination helped me through it. Interesting stuff to be happening with the Undead Warrior following this PPV. I was originally kind of miffed at the win... mostly because I was running the risk of carrying two titles (at least for a short time) while being a fed-head... and also because I love Tara Fox's PPV RPs. It was kinda sad not to see one. But now that I've been thinking about some fun things to do with it, I'm more than happy to play with the title for a bit.

The empty arena match was amazing. Kaz and Bloodbath both were written so well, and despite using quite a lot of features the SinArena just plain doesn't have (I'll totally forgive it 'cuz I don't have current maps up yet) it had so many fantastic spots and excellent exchanges that I can't begin to hate on it. In fact, this is my first early candidate for Match of the Year. Really incredible stuff. Great job, Jay.

I'll go ahead and lump together Stanton vs. Kursur and Lucas vs. Prince because I don't have TOO much to say about either of them. They were both well-written and told exactly the story they needed to, and I mean that in the best of ways. The writing conveyed the emotions and psychology of both matches properly. Something I especially liked about the NGIW Championship match was its build. I was kind of underwhelmed at the beginning and was really sad around when I thought the end was because I expected... MORE from the match. But then it just kept going... and going... and going! While not the strongest match on the card, it was definitely a tour de force and I ended up really pleased with the bigger picture. The build felt very Japanese and as a fan of Japanese wrestling pacing I was very pleased.

The RCR... now. Hm. Huh. Hrm.

So, before I get into my thoughts on the match, here's the thing.

I think Holland should've won.

Now, this isn't me selling myself short. I was pretty pleased with what I did... but Night's stuff had so much fire and intensity and power and whatnot that I really thought he should take it. In fact, I told Lita as much. But there's me, and my opinion isn't really welcome in my own matches for exactly that reason. Goto was a good runner-up in terms of quality. One more RP from him and we might've had a new RCR on our hands in my opinion. Kennedy was REALLY strong too.

Anyway, the match. I LOVED the Nightmare spot at the beginning. In fact, it inspired a small promo that I'll try to put out sooner than later. But I digress. The flow of the match was awesome, and I was glad to see Hype get so much action. I know I call him a choke artist in character, but I think the Hype character has a lot of potential and it's always good to see what kind of backhanded shit he has up his sleeves. Kennedy is, of course, rather amazing. There were parts of that match that felt like reading FIW classics all over again. PiG was written perfectly. I love how when he calmly watches matches it doesn't come off so much as lazy just... sort of amused and patient. I was kind of expecting him to dive right into the action, but he didn't and I'm so OK with that, too. "No, you all do your thing. I'll be here." Great spots in the match, great action throughout, great portrayal of the characters. Good work.

I especially liked the post-match 'celebration'. What PiG does can be seen as gross or perverted so easily, but the writer (not sure if it was Lita or Nir) just made it so... CREEPY. That's exactly how it should be. Not an ounce of sex in it. HUNGER. But not sex. Perfect.

All in all a fantastic show. Kudos to all involved, special thanks to Lita for giving me a little vacation. It's good to be back in the saddle.

Card'll be up over the next few hours.

First up, I'm glad people liked seeing hide again.

Secondly: RCR match. My shortlist came down to PiG, Kennedy and Erik. I quite dig Aizawa, but I found that what he was saying about rage didn't feel quite right next to PiG especially. Of the remaining three, had great difficulty separating them, and I'm not sure I can put my finger on exactly why I thought PiG was the correct answer, but on another hour in another day, I could easily have gone for one of the others. That said, I think PiG was the right decision.

Loved the show. Thought the RCR, even down to the Nightmare spot was a fun read. Admittedly I forgot how much time I had to even get an RP up with the big guy. Glad to see some folks had a hard time deciding whether I won or not, that tells me I did a good job. I think this loss will actually help Erik, so I'm glad everything worked out.
