Fun-ass show. Thanks again to Nir for writing it, as well as the two promos he supplied. Thanks as well for the promos from Nightmare, Boy, Adam, Lita, and Joe. Kind of an odd week for roleplays, things didn't play out how I expected, but I'll say that I was PLEASANTLY surprised FAR more than I was disappointed. Great work everyone. Card'll be up later tonight when I figure out how to round it off. Thots? |

Huh. I was expecting a Crackerjack sighting, guess not. Huh x2, another character of Triad's. He's definitely Jo's brother. :P It was a fun show to write. And, I feel like it had some interesting developments. Fake Kursur, Priest's tweener/heel(?) turn, THEM vs. the Pirates and what not. Surprised by a few of the wins as some of the matches I felt were close, like Claire vs. Valiente and Roxie vs. hide, and wasn't sure where the shoe would drop. Not surprised by the tag title results, but then again, Lita and I had that planned for a bit. Was a fun match to write regardless. |

I was surprised by Tremendous winning his match. I just had trouble RPing him this week for some reason. I love RPing him but this week I couldn't get the idea I had to really flow the way it was in my head. Regardless, I hope he is heading after the Midway title because that would just make him uncontrollable over getting a solo title shot. I'm not really surprised with the outcome of Lucas' match. More surprised that Lioncock actually saved him from being food for the vultures. Curious where all of this is going to go. I'm so glad that a deserving tag team has the tag titles. I was happy for Nir and I to be tag champs but there's just so many reasons that it wasn't working for the belts sake and I'm glad that one of the best tag teams in NGIW was able to take them off us and hopefully they'll get the play they deserve. Though, I wish any challengers the best of luck because Wight and Boy aren't a joke. |

Short feedback as I just found out an RP I spent all night writing (not for here) is now invalid so my mind's not exactly into it. *sigh* Haven't been this upset since I accidentally deleted an 8-page RP just before it came time to post it.
That's because someone kindly said "no" to the idea I proposed. So he was just a special guest. Although since I'm not booked and he's somewhat fresh on peoples minds... I kinda figured the match could've gone either way. Was hoping though Roxie would finally beat him but oh well, perhaps a next time. Things with Roxie are a bit messed up anyway. With me bugging Lita to get something between Roxie and Kennedy (perhaps a future tag match might be inspiration???) and her into Steele Media...I don't even have a name for that show. Wight said "Evil Girls" would be a bit iffy now, so I'm trying to think up something else. Chaos Girls keeps popping into mind, but I don't know. I'll think of one and do up a profile. It'll be up after I finish the Bad Girls one. If Ash were here, he'd be rolling his eyes on that one. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

I know it sounds obvious, but go back and look at the weeks where you won. Even if they were against somebody who no-showed. THOSE RPs are the kind of thing you should be writing if you're aiming to specifically win a match. The dramatic reveals and plot twists are interesting, but they're usually the best nuggest amidst a framework of setup and that doesn't do you any favors. You're at your best when you're exploring your CHARACTERS and their personalities/motivations. Remember that. EDIT: Um... I can put you in a match this week if you like. I knew I forgot something when I was booking the card... lemme know. I'd like to have it booked before the weekend if possible. |
