Great show everyone, good effort by those who put it forth. I don't think there's anything too complicated to explain, but I would like to touch on a few things before I let y'all loose to tell Nir what you thought of his beautiful matches and to inform all the other contributors what you thought of their promolicious promos.

1. This first week with the new judging metric has been great. It's worked out exactly as I hoped and I'd like to say that going forward I have a lot of faith in where NGIW will be heading. So, thanks to Lita, Boy, and Nir for helping me out with that. I know reading all those RPs can be a headache sometimes but the effort is well worth it.

2. I have removed "Malicious" Mauriece Pearson, his manager, and Natalia from the roster due to inactivity.

3. I loved the output from both Bloodbath/Claire and Nightmare's Army this week. However, with the no-show on the NGIW Champion I wasn't really pleased. Especially since this is something we've had to talk with Adam about before (see MADNESS 2013's ginormous kerfluffle). While the result would've been much closer and we would've had to do a much deeper analysis on the winner, the team decided to go with Nightmare's Army as none of us can really see rewarding the behavior of ignoring one's NGIW Champion character in favor of some the writer may prefer. It sucks, but if we don't set a hard rule I'm afraid this would be exploited too much in the future, especially with all the lovely new people here. So, just to re-iterate, if you have multiple characters please try to make time for all of them. We let you have as many as you can handle, so it's up to you what you can manage, but your champions are ALWAYS more important than the rest of your roster, ESPECIALLY if they're the NGIW Champion.

That being said, Adam, I loved the stuff with Bloodbath and Claire this week. It was very fresh, very fun, and I'm glad to see you back to 100% in terms of quality.

All righty, I think that's all I have to say. I want to thank everyone again for their efforts. I very much enjoyed running NGIW this week. Card'll be up a bit later tonight. Still ruminating on a few matches.

Thots?

Guess I'll dive in first with as much feedback as I can give being the show writer...

After I got the idea for Joe coming down at the end of the NGIW title match at X, I immediately had this idea stewing in my brain. It just seemed logical that Hype would respond to Joe somewhat interrupting his moment at such a big event. I wrote up a rough draft, sent it Triad's way and this is the end result. Felt it set Hype up even further as a killer after his NGIW title match & put some interest into Hype/Joe.

Not a lot to say about the first match. I was disappointed to see Maurice and Natalia's handlers continued their tradition of no showing. Sad to see them go, but it is what it is. So, the match was pretty much served as a means to put the Parker character over.

I liked both of what we saw from Franco & Gus' handlers this RP cycle. Would've liked to see a little more, to further help define them, but you do what you can. Basically tried to get the hang of them and introduce them to our little group with the match. Making both look good and with Franco slipping by with the victory in a match either character could've won.

Liked what both Meek and Ty offered for their characters, and really interested in where this Derek wanting to be aligned with Ty idea could go. Why I tried to tease it without definitively going one way or the other on it during the match. Figured I'd leave it to Ty to RP how Burna will respond to such a proposal. Tried to make both guys look good, with Ty being just a slightly bit more clever & getting the win for it. Though I think both guys should keep up their work.

Spectre Girls/Vi segment was interesting, though not a whole lot to say about it. Wasn't much to it.

To be honest, it was while writing this match I realized I wasn't entirely sure if it was meant to be a trios tag match or a four on four tag match. I assumed the latter because I saw Roxie RPs this cycle. In any case, I tried to further some storylines within the groups & give Lita some stuff to work with in terms of the Pirates after the match.

The Kursur segment was interesting. Much like the slightly confusing affair between Vi and him in general.

Disappointed Doomed no showed his match though he apologized for it, so looking forward to seeing what he can do in the future. In the mean time, meant this match was mostly used to highlight Cody. I've dug what T's done with him so far, and like with pretty much all the new people, I'm looking forward to where he can go with it.

Basic idea of the tag match was to make all the guys look as good as possible and really breathe new life into both groups. Or, maintain the fresh breath groups had. Liked what both Triad and Will did a lot this cycle. Felt both were hitting all cylinders on it. In the end, tried to make a finish that would make both teams not look too bad coming out of it.

Faulk and KRA came to me with a finish idea for their match and I was happy to oblige them. Their rivalry is pretty cool so far and I'm looking forward to seeing it continue to develop and grow. I tried to convey the bubbling hate the two have for each other in the match. With things starting to lean towards a more gritty match than just your average exhibition bout.

Much like Faulk & KRA, I was presented with an idea for a finish for the grudge tag match. Tried to put over both teams in the build to it and then make the finish feel abrupt & sudden. Like, something really did backfire on the BLS. I'm curious to see where this can go, as I feel like this feud can do both teams a lot of good. It definitely is giving them both some solid direction.

The Joe vs. Astro match had a pretty simple idea in my mind. Joe's messed up from his match at X & especially after Hype's beat down. So, it's a game of cat & mouse with Joe trying to hold out to try to sneak a victory through & failing against the healthy Astro. Finish was my idea, because I wanted to tie the earlier beatdown into it and really put over Astro in the process by essentially knocking Joe out from the pain.

Liked the hide segment, it was short & sweet but got some points across. Helped plant an interesting plot point of hide's injury from X and had him be no help in the Hikou/Tremendous issue.

...Speaking of that issue, the main event. Despite Hype no showing, I didn't want to make him a total jobber in the match, so I tended to shy away from using him. Instead mostly the match was made up of the increasing tension between Hikou & Tremendous and Spade wanting to hurt people. Wighty & Boy were talking about some type of finish to further the Hikou & Tremendous issue. And, I like to think what I thought of works and is rather symbolic to the entire series of events between them thus far.

As always this show was great. I definitely enjoyed the BLS/[R] match this week. The build up from the get go to Nathaniel missing the powder in the eyes and throwing it in Stephen's face was the perfect end because it showed a "less classy" side to BLS and the match as a whole also showed how BLS is a new team so it's difficult for them to get a handle on things right off the bat. Definitely enjoyed this one and adding the setup from X to show this as the fallout was a nice touch. Lol.

I mentioned to Wight that Steve's computer went down recently after he tried installing some updates so I had to write the bit that followed the BLS/[R] match. Personally I'm not very happy with the way I wrote it but it did get the job done to set up a rematch between the two teams and once again showed the "less classy" side of BLS when they both get angry. I'm very rarely happy with what I write both for Nathaniel and in this case for both members of the team. So, I'll let you all be the judge on this one. Lol.

The rest of the show was great, as always. The opening segment between Joe and Adam was really cool. It did make Adam look like a monster and was a good set up for the future. I enjoyed reading the fatal four-way match to close things off and the triple threat tag match with Spectre Girls and Vi versus the Red Pirates.

Overall this was an awesome show and I'm looking forward to Vice to see what everyone has in store for it.

Just a little quickly here, as I've got a hankerin' for some walkerin', I was...a little uncertain too about that Spectre/Pirates tag match. I kinda thought it was 6-person too, so anything I wrote for Roxie was more fun than anything. Also why I tried to show her "suffering" more the effects of her last match than setting up for another. But yeah, guests at the door may even wake Roxie up from a coma.

The game between Vi and Eve was fun. We did, to keep things flowing nicely, feed each other the answers but all responses were genuinely our own. Basically the whole given a face down card, guessing(writing) what it is, then turning it over. So yeah, in the end it was fun.

I was really hoping things would continue between Vicky/Lilith and Franco, but I suppose things came up on his end. Tried holding out for as long as I could there, but eventually things had to resume with Lilith.

It was a lot of character development from my end this week, about the only match relation from me was my stuff with Lita. I did enjoy that and as I told Lita it'd be great if things there were to continue. Mainly because it's about time Eve and/or Lilith have their first real feud as I kinda figured out the dynamic I've been giving the two of them lately. The best way to put it is...roleplaying them is like playing Skyrim on Master difficulty. You don't just rush into things and assume everything will work out. You spend the first little while or so prepping yourself for the adventure to come. Kinda what I've been doing with Lilith and Eve, setting up their personalities, relations with other characters, trying to make it easier to separate them from each other as well as from Roxie so they could hold their own in a storyline. Because if I had Eve go right for a title the minute she walked in, there would have been a lot more Vicky talking and Roxie talking for her matches. Things still would've been more so along the lines of character development. But now the two of them have outside sources they can go to, I've also been trying to focus on their own bonding for tag matches and such, so...yeah. That was a long paragraph.

And this is more than I thought it was.

Party on,
Joe.

Got the computer working again. Thanks to Nathan for finishing up the promo for BLS. I really liked the match and establishing the feud with BLS and [R]. I'm really excited to see where it can go from here and am eager to get some good RPs in this week. The show was really good this week and I'm looking forward to seeing where NGIW goes from here with all of the new talent. Great show!

There was actually supposed to be a segment with Lillith and Richlen but my phone kept logging me off so I couldn't edit it and get it sent. Sorry about that, Jo-Jo.

That finish works for me.

Promo was fun to write and short and sweet was the theme of the week when it came to my RPs. Wanted to do one last promo, but I ended up coming home at 3am on Friday night/Saturday morning and I was somewhat refreshed. More importantly, I had no ideas for it

Anyhow I dug the show.
