Daniel Shawcross RP Thoughts

So I just got done reading the Daniel Shawcross RP, and thought I'd share a few thoughts I had about it.

First off, nice little concept. I liked how the character was introduced. We didn't just fade in and know who he was immediately, but in fact his identity was reserved for late in the RP.

I liked how the start was done, where the cameraman's filming through the window unbeknownst to Shawcross. But I even more liked how Daniel was listening to an old radio for news on the dead man, who we presume he killed. Also the fact that Shawcross didn't come right out and say he was responsible for the killing was well done. Let room for speculation, but you still had a pretty good idea.

I will say however, that at this stage in e-wrestling, the old "stab a voodoo doll" thing has been done to death. I even did it once myself years and years ago when I first started out (over a decade ago). But having Daniel cut his own hand in the process was a nice touch to mix things up a bit.

Overall, a very solid RP. It was well written, and did a good job of introducing the character, even though he didn't cut the usual promo against his opponent. Oh, and nice touch having him notice the cameraman at the window. That basically brought the RP full circle, and wrapped it up very nicely. Well done.

Thanks man. I really appreciate the positive feedback. This is the first time I RP'ed with this character so I'm still finding my lock with him. To hear that it was solid really means a lot. I just hope I can keep putting more RP's of good quality.
