What a show! I'll put up some feedback a little later along with the card, but as usual let me extend my thanks to Nir, everyone who wrote a promo (or a special entrance) and of course, everyone for roleplaying.

Congrats to the winners, better luck next time to the losers (you all did great; it was a hard show to call) and THANK you for another Violence Fetish!

EDIT: So, my thoughts.

Really disappointed we lost KRA and Terrence Knight, but they're always welcome back in the future.

[R] and BLS has been fun; had a good time putting over the Blue Label guys in the end. My RPs were kind of few and far between over this cycle, but I haven't been very inspired lately. Hence me dropping most of my characters down to lower tiers of action post-PPV. But I'm glad you guys had as much fun as I did (if not more) and I'm looking forward to seeing what BLS can do in NGIW.

Nir pretty much echos my thoughts on the grab bag, so go read what he said.

Lioncock vs. Ronan and Kurusr vs. Vi were really great capstones to the feuds. Not much else to say. They were both fun to read, and in the case of Vi, write.

I really liked how Spade vs. Cody flowed. I liked the taunting into the beatdown and then into the finish. Cody did some really great work this cycle and I think he really made his mark in this fed.

I liked the surroundings of the Hermanos/Army match more than the match itself, but it certainly wasn't a BAD match. It wasn't a BAD match. As in it was good. Oh, what an awful typo to make. A little too bad we didn't really have time to push it, but it was still a fun go. Very close match, too, great RPs.

The main event was a feat. Very good to read. A very close match, too. Shame Adam's last RP wasn't before the deadline.

I honestly had no clue about the League. I think someone might've told me at some point it was happening, but I basically instantly forgot it. The hide promos were fun to read as well, although they felt a wee bit disjointed. Tremendous was also some good stuff, though more plot development than character stuff.

Anyhow, card's up now.

Thots?

VERY well done show. The Lucha Loco tag match seems to be missing the end, but aside from a minor hiccup, everything looks fantastic. Stories were resolved and continued, the Grab Bag match was well done considering the amount of people involved, and while I haven't finished it yet, the main event is looking really good right now.

Also,

WOOOOO!!!

That show was amazing. I loved the Grab bag match, and the RCR, and the ME, and all of it.

Thanks to Nir for giving The Boy all the best lines on commentary.

So happy with the turn out for this PPV, welcome to all the various guests we have and new folks.

I really like the League, I think this gimmick had major potential.

Side note, I have some mild issues with arachnophobia, hence a little 'addition' had to be made to one segment.

Upset that Punkin and Astro didn't have any more interaction than him putting a mask over Punkin's face seeing as we were RPing on each other for the past 3 days. Punkin never even got to hit the guy before he pulled the mask over Punkin's head. I understand it was a big match but still it was the main focus of both of our RP's near the end, just seemed like it was ignored and then given a symbolical ending which Ill be honest made every RP I did and who they were all aimed at irrelevant and just let Astro make Punkin look like a fool. Sorry just my honest opinion and Im sure if he hadnt won then Astro would be thinking the same thing. But on an all round note you guys did some great things to put the Punkin character over in that match and I thank you for that

The jump on Spade at the end was great, really looking forward to moving ahead with that. The fact that you actually had Punkin Crack the championship with Spades head just made me feel kinda welcome for the first time properly since I got here, thank you for that. I have something insane in mind for that match but I need to discuss it with sqweak first, lets just say Punkin is going to use a weed whacker in a way none of you have ever seen before

(I mean no offence by my words and I'm not mad or anything I am just being honest)

As for the rest of the show, I sat with a nice big "cigarette" and enjoyed the card, Lucha tag was sick and the cage matches were brutal

I don't want to speak for Nir, but as someone who used to write a lot of matches in my heyday those multi-man affairs are tough to hash out and keep track of. I'm sure there was no actual ill intentions meant; your requested spot was worked in, as was the "resolution" to the mini-feud. Anything else is just icing.

That goes for everyone; as I'm sure Nir will mosey along and echo eventually, don't get discouraged if you feel you weren't highlighted enough in the match. I sincerely want to thank everyone who roleplayed, especially our temporary visitors from NSFW and elsewhere, and trust that we read and enjoyed every RP and have plenty of plans for the future; they just might not have come to fruition in THAT match.

Wow, that was an amazing show! The BLS/[R] finale match was AWESOME as was the introduction to The League. I'm definitely pumped to see where things go from here with the whole faction and the introduction segment came off perfectly. Steve and I had a lot of fun with the RP's we put up for the show. We were trying to give a bit of backstory to BLS while at the same time keeping it tied in with the match. Hopefully everyone else enjoyed those.

I also enjoyed the bit with hide, Hikou and BLS. All the rest of the matches were amazing as well; that grab bag match was a fun read and the ME was a great way to cap things off!

Yeah, I think I joked to someone, can't really remember who at this time, that I never want to suggest that match again to Wighty. The Grab Bag Match itself is fine, but an open invitational one became a double edged sword to me. Awesome to have everybody sign up for it, and have our visitors, but a nightmare to write a match involving seventeen wrestlers with no real way of eliminating them. Outside of a few that got a contract.

Apologies to you, Punkin. I did not mean to ignore that aspect of your RPs, it was just a matter of trying to keep track of everybody & the ideas that were given to me. It unfortunately got lost in the mix.

More on the Grab Bag Match later, as I intend to run down the card...

Ronan/Lioncock. Hope Neal liked it, I was really trying to put over how much Lioncock actually feared Ronan in a fair, one on one fight. And, I really tried to put him over in the match as a killer still, despite being "retired". I really liked his work, all throughout the feud really, and I see good things for him moving forward. Not just in terms of success, but also storylines.

Glad everybody's liked the cage match, from what I can gather. I was trying to make neither team really look all that weak in it. As I knew [R] was losing, so I didn't want to job them out completely. But I also knew what was coming at the end and didn't want the BLS to look like that was solely the reason for their victory. Hope everybody liked it, it was fun to write the match and the finish that I had stewing in my brain for weeks now.

I'm not sure how many people clued in to something going on with Lioncock. I was trying to have it not be too on the nose or too vague. As everybody can see now, yeah, moving the character into more of a managerial role for the time being. I'm really excited for the stable, like, really. I think Doomed, Creep, Steve, Nate and I can do some great things.

Got to be honest, disappointed in the way the Midway Match worked out. I really thought TK or KRA were going to take the Midway at the PPV. Instead I tried to make them not look like complete jokes but also wasn't robbing Tremendous of what he rightly earned. Ah well, with all of the new blood, Tremendous will definitely find a new challenge.

Speaking of him though, like the little segment tacked onto afterwards. Helps make up for such little screen time he got in his title match. :P

Little surprised by the TremenBro.s/BLS segment, but not unhappy about it either. Definitely interesting and I think it's a good thing BLS is moving onto the tag titles. After the feud they had with [R], they've earned it.

So. The Grab Bag Match.

God damn was this a pain in my ass to write. I sincerely hope everyone enjoys it and don't take it too personal if you didn't get highlighted as much as you had hoped. I really tried to shift the focus around so everybody got a big moment or two in the match. And, I really liked what people were doing for the match.

Our visitors, as I expected, impressed the hell out of staff. And, I'm sure any of them would be welcomed back, should they decide to take another visit of the place. And, I personally thank you all for taking time out of your schedules to show up here.

As for our regulars, like I said, everybody did great, really. Bloodbath, Intensity, Gus, Punkin, Dream, Creep, Astro, Priest, Ronan again. I'm not trying to blow smoke up your guys' asses, everybody really did do a great job. It's why Wighty, and the rest of us, decided to add additional prizes to the match as fun wild cards. Because we just had such a hard time working it down to just two.

Even then, there were still guys like Gus and Punkin, and Ronan I wished we could've done more for. But we couldn't just hand everybody prizes, there had to be some that walked away empty handed. I say this to everybody that didn't get a "good" briefcase, don't take it personal. The staff is noticing your guys' efforts and, like Wighty said, plans are in motion.

The Astro post-match segment was fun. Really adding some more suspense to just what's going on and why he did the things he did during the match.

Vi/Kursur, actually one of the matches I was most nervous to write. I like to think, in general, I have a fairly strong grasp on how to write Kursur. I think I do a fair job of Vi too. But the storyline surrounding the two of them was one I had to be fragile with. Hopefully they enjoy every little touch I put in there. I'm curious to see where this is going to go to now.

The RCR match. I had the idea for it in my head after talking to Boy and T about everything going into it and ideally what would happen in the match. I tried to give it a pretty distinct, and somewhat unique to pro-wrestling, story. Though was fearful T might think I was trying to job his character. Naturally I had Pain come back like Brock Lesnar's long lost son on Spade, to make up for the opening bit. And, overall I really liked the story the match told.

I was glad to see that I wasn't the only one that was impressed on staff from T's work in the RCR match lead-in either. I think regardless of what happens this next cycle, if you can keep this up, T, you're going to have some success in NGIW.

Punkin's attack, I tried to do it base off of the notes I was given. However I added a little twist to it that could potentially be used for some plot moving forward. Plus the visual of Punkin cracking the RCR is a neat one to me.

More Dai written hide & Walker hilarity. Though I think it's becoming obvious who has been giving hide things... :P

The tag title match, another one I tried to play even stevens with. With the story being more Hikou trying to hang with NGIW veterans and prove it wasn't just hide that won the titles at X. Really liked what both guys' did with their respected teams. And, I think for everybody it was a pretty hard call to make. I wouldn't lose heart, Will, everybody's digging the Nightmare Army stuff. Like I think I said before, I feel it's breathed new life into the entire set of characters.

Another Tremendous sighting! And, what's this?! KISUKE/Tremendous plot development too! :O

The NGIW title match...hopefully people like it. I was fearing how this one would go, writing wise. I had some ideas but I was also waiting on hearing back from Triad, as he said he had some ideas. Without ever hearing back from him though, I tried to move forward. Told a fairly simple story, and I tried to make both guys look good, trying to balance it so Hype didn't look like he got his ass handed to him by a one legged man.

As an aside, obviously I'm really excited for Joe to have the NGIW title. It's something that's nearly three years in the making, as August marks the anniversary of when I came to NGIW. Been a long trek, and at times a rather bumpy one, but it's cool that I was recognized by the rest of staff for the honor. Hopefully I don't disappoint.

One last note, Wighty, Boy...no worries about any altering of commentary. It's essentially exaggerated versions of you guys out there, so who knows you better than you? Every change I saw was an improvement, or added something more to it. So, I appreciate it.

Good show everybody.

Figured I'd throw my two cents into the mix. It won't be an awesome rundown of the card like Nir's post, but here goes...

First of all, I love these quick little 2 second matches. Haven't seen them in 10+ years, especially not on PPVs. But they definitely get the job done. And I thought that you did an outstanding job writing Ronan, Nir. Even though he only had two moves before the match was over, you put over his intensity and how he was itching to beat Lioncock within an inch of his life so well. Having the match end in a ref stoppage was also a really nice touch that I dug a lot. And yeah, you definitely put over how Lioncock was scared of him, both in his RPs and in the match in the match itself. It's been a joy working with you man.

Now as a former fedhead myself, I've had to write my share of multi-man matches similar to the Grab Bag Match. I remember after one particular card came out, one of the handlers told me that the match was a case study in controlled chaos. And I think that fits the bill pretty well in describing the Grab Bag Match pretty well too. It was chaos, but you did a fine job keeping track of everything. Everybody got their time in the spotlight, even those who took big bumps came back to get their pound of flesh. Am I disappointed that Ronan didn't win anything? Absolutely not! I've only been here a month, damnit! :D Part of me hoped for it, sure, but at the same time, I did have him say he wasn't interested in any titles, opting instead to put his full focus on Lioncock. And that theme was continued in the match, so I'm more than happy with the outcome. Congrats to the guys who won by the way. I was really pleased to see The Creep leave with something, as I've really enjoyed his stuff. I thought Austin Shepard had just as good a shot though, as he was awesome too.

Wow, these two cents dragged on way longer than I intended, but there you have it. :)

The hide promos were fun to read as well, although they felt a wee bit disjointed.

Yeah, the one with the BLS only makes sense if it's straight after the match, but obviously there was other important business going on what with the League. Hey ho.

Speaking of which: here's your theme and if it's not, then it had better be awesome.

Still flicking through the show, but jolly good stuff, old fruits.

EDIT: Perhaps your referring to hide's tiny attention span. Yeah, I'll cop to that, but to be fair, he can be distracted at times.

It's alright, but how will people know that you're the League?

Also, what happened to the rest of the band, Horsecock, Tigercock and Cockcock? Son, I am Disappoint.

In serious feedback, I suck because I need to do entrances for people.

Good to see the Flycore title back, and it's always nice to see people beating the piss out of Lioncock.

Rest of the show was pretty tasty, although more detailed feedback is becoming impractical now that the cat is awake.

They all got left behind in SLA, probably sharing a pint with those soccer slags in some pub over in London right now.

Are you talking about those fine gentlemen from vastly different background who participated in the great and noble sport of Rugby Football, which is not under any circumstances to be confused with that roundball nonsense that calls itself Association Football.

The show was awesome. I particularly like the spider rain. Main event was a great and epic read that definitely had a fitting feel to it. The grab bag match was fun chaos that was solidly written, not too confusing while still spreading the action enough to get a good bird's eye view of the action. I also dug Vi/Kursur a lot and really enjoyed the Mcginnis/Spade match.
