Show's up. We're going to be making the next show a BLACK to start the new year right and avoid any no-shows due to hangovers or whatever. Card'll be up sometime in the next couple of days. Congrats to the winners, better luck next year to the losers. I don't have a lot to say, I can provide some deeper feedback upon request but you'd be better off looking to Nir and Lita for a lot of the final decisions. Thots? |

Kinda sucks losing the tag match there, but as I told Wight I wasn't paying very much attention to the deadline. Though, to be honest, the timing did seem a little poor to be holding a major style event. Just my thoughts there. As for awards, I think I have a nomination for next years OMGWTFBBQ!? Moment of the Year. I actually won something! Yay! Go Eve! Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

As I mentioned elsewhere, moving it back a week would've screwed up a lot of storylines leading into the PPV (and put it on a Wednesday, which Lita hates) and moving it forward a week would've made the PPV cycle DRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG. It already takes an eternity at five shows per cycle. But then, I knew it was going to be rough going in. I pretty much got what I expected. |

Having only read my title match, it's fair, and you guys picked up on the nuances of LV's character and where it is going beautifully. There was a little thing I wanted to send you, but since the character isn't signed up yet, I guess this way is better. |

Nathaniel Alexander lost for Most Talented Athlete?!?! I demand a recount!! *calms down* Ok, ok, I GUESS Lucas Torres is good enough too :p In all seriousness, this was a really good show. The 4-way tag match was a fun read and definitely glad BLS walked away with the win on that. It looks like The League is getting a bit stronger now with Mr. Creep and Ryan Campbell walking away with the titles in their respective matches. The ME was an awesome match as well even though I'm a fan of Astro Blue and he lost the belt :p Overall great show and looking forward to where things go from here. |

Astro lost the NGIW tile and Superstar of the Year? I demand recounts! *calms down* Ok, ok... no! I demand recounts! Haha, I kid. It was a really good show and a lot of the awards surprised me. I'm actually super thrilled that Joe Stanton won Superstar of the Year. I've always liked the character and Nir works super hard on him. I'm glad that he was able to nab that award and I can't wait to see him back to active duty. His presence on the roster has been sorely missed. To be honest, I really thought Nathaniel Alexander had "Year of 2014" in the bag. Hopefully Rotinaj can get over the holiday hustle and bustle so that Jonah Cooper can start making that victory come a reality. I do really enjoy the character, even if the RP format sometimes throws me off. The character always comes from a good place and I really love that about the character. It's a rare trait in e-fed characters these days, it seems, to have a genuine babyface that doesn't come off as over-the-top or corny. So, I am anxious to see what Cooper can do in 2014. Yes! Thank you to everyone who voted Los Hermanos Tremendous as Tag Team of the Year! I'm not sure which form of the tag team this is, but dammit I'm counting it towards The marvelous Captain Tremendous! I had some of the best times writing hide and Tremendous RPs in 2013 and I think they were an surprising and explosive tag team. I'm a little sad that that form of LHT didn't win the tag titles, but as long as they're around hide's sexy little waist, I'm happy. I'm a little surprised that Tremendous nabbed the Spot of the Year, but that was a pretty sick spot. It was surprising to me too as it was something I had no clue was coming. Or, if I did, my memory is horrible! But I'm pretty sure Nir threw that little surprise at me without any warning and I remember reading that show with my mouth hanging open. Great stuff and I'm glad to see it recognized. The Odd Couple winning Moment of the Year was a pretty good pick as it did feel like it came out of nowhere. That's not a knock on Adam's RPing ability as his track record speaks for itself. But the Odd Couple certainly are what their name implies. Bringing Bloodbath and Claire together was a head-scratching move on Adam's part and I really didn't think they were going to work, but dammit he's pulled it off and they had a great run as champs closing out the year. As if there were even any other CONTENDERS for the Silver Mic Award than Mr. Creep. What a delightfully wonderful character we were surprised with this year. His way with words reminds me a lot of early Wight days. I always envy those who can pull of comedy so effortlessly in writing alone. And that's something I feel really puts Creep in a league of his own (no pun intended). Absolutely agree with the Hottest Feud. I know Wight and Boy put A LOT of work into that Kursur vs. Face Kursur/Vi feud and deserve recognition for that. It was certainly a highlight of 2013 for me and I remember reading that storyline anxiously awaiting the reveal. I'll admit I was more than a tad disappointed when it wasn't Horus "The Owl" Osbourne running around as Fake Kursur but that's just because I ALWAYS want Horus to be back in the ring. But Vi did a fantastic job as Kursur's foil and the two had some incredible RPs together. I am so honored to win Most Entertaining Arc with Lucas Torres. I'm sure most of the newbies have put things together by this point with him, so if any of them voted for him despite not seeing his big title win this year, downfall, and eventual job loss, I thank you for putting things together and enjoying the angle for what it is. Lucas has always been one of my absolute favorite characters to write and I have had the absolute most fun running his current arc and I'm glad to see other people are enjoying it as well. I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't even know what Spade's Hell is Repetition finisher is. Allow me to look that up. Oh, well I can definitely see that winning. In all honesty, I voted for Joe Stanton's Shoryuken because dammit I love visualizing it AND saying it. Haha. Lioncock certainly worked for Manager of the Year this Year. There weren't THAT many around, but I still think he had it in the bag regardless. His surprising formation of the League was a stroke of genius and it's certainly been successful. Congrats to Eve winning Most Improved Wrestler of the Year. I still remember when she was poor little Brie trying to make it as a wrestler. To be honest, I'm still disappointed that things went as expected with her and she became a doll. I mean, it's cool that she's slowly starting to become human again, but I really thought the Brie character had a ton of potential. But a writer has to do what they feel and if this path is what Jo feels for Eve, I can't fault him for that. And this award here proves that he's doing something right. The Julius Caesar Award goes to a fantastic character and handler this year. It almost feels like it's In Memoriam or something like that. "The War Hound" Ronan Benedict had a ton of potential behind him and I would have loved to see what the character could have accomplished if the handler was able to stick around with us. Usually I'm all about Zane West winning Employee of the Year. I didn't create the character, but I take A LOT of responsibility for molding him into what he is today and fighting for him to have a job. Lol. But nobody (I mean nobody) stands against Horus "The Owl" Osbourne and gets my backing. Hehe. The Owl always wins. Did Intensity change his f'in music? Tell me Intensity did not change his f'in music! *listens to new song* Okay, well, it has a similar feel but dammit I love "Warrior" and that's why I voted for it! But I can see the change and it does really fit the changes in the Mr. Intensity character. If it's sticking around, I can see it really suiting NGIW Champion era Mr. Intensity well. I have to laugh at Giggles and Spade winning Sexiest/Cutest Couple of the Year because I can totally see it. Ever since that MBOTY app where Giggles talks about his weirdest sexual experience being every morning with Spade, I still chuckle. I don't know if they're Sexy or Cute together, but they're damn sure hilarious. O-M-G. Lucas Torres takes Most Talented Athlete again? I freakin' love that he's undefeated in this category. Thanks to everyone that voted for him because I'm not sure if you all really realize how much this awards means to me (and the character in my head). It's truly fantastic. That covers the awards and a lot of characters on the roster. I'm HOPING to get some feedback up soonish about the actual PPV and its matches, but I can't promise anything. I still gotta get the card together! |

Nah, Warrior is sticking around. It just fits Mike so well, think of Indestructible as an alternate theme a la HHHs king of kings. It was his theme during the time when he was essentially undefeated in any important match for like two years back in the old days. He tends to use it for the real gut check matches, to remind everyone (including himself) just who they're dealing with. The last time he used it was the match where he lost the RCR On a different note, holy crap did I win bunch of awards! Thanks guys! I'm actually blown away here, I can honestly say that I totally agree with all the winners (including the ones I didn't vote for, some of those were hard choices lol) except maybe the ones I won, but I'm not gonna argue too hard about those. |

As usual Last Chance was an enjoyable read. It had a good flow and rhythm to it (I have to say I liked the return to form of full matches) and I'm honored to have gotten the awards I did (I'll admit I voted myself for two or three categories hehehe) but I honestly can't say there isn't anyone on the roster that doesn't deserve recognition for the excellent work they consistently put in every show. Props to the staff for keeping it classy. |
