Well, as usual thanks to Nir for the show. Thanks to Dai, me, Joe, Nir, and Lita for promos. Thanks to countless other people for ideas. To make an unnecessarily long story short, this week we're moving back to a single person in charge of the fed (me), booking the show, putting the final judgement call on matches, etc. etc. etc. I'm more than happy to answer most questions about the situation, but the short version is that it was done for the sake of keeping the peace and everything happened pretty amicably. Nir will still be writing matches, and I'm still taking input from plenty of people for booking the cards. Perhaps even more than before, actually... what it boils down to right now, however, are five main points I want to make very clear. Some of you might see them as opportunities. Some of you might not even care. But here they are for reading. 1. Make feuds more obvious, keep track of them publicly, and revamp the Whiteboard a bit. I'll be doing that through this RP cycle. 2. More help, and rewards for it. The show hasn't been as thick as many of you have noticed. I'd like to build it back up, but Nir and I alone just don't have time for that anymore. Someone who's willing to write the pre-shows (ESPECIALLY on Sundays), assemble the entrances for me to paste into the show every week, and even writing full matches would be great. In fact, if someone contributes every show week I'd be more than happy to allow that person a third character entity within the show. So, an extra tag team... an extra character... even a massive stable that operates as one unit (more or less) could be yours if you were interested in helping out regularly with one of these simple, yet time-consuming tasks. 3. From here until further notice, PPVs will be occurring on Wednesday. With Nir as our lead writer, for a show as work-intensive as a PPV he needs all the time he can get and Sundays just aren't a viable option anymore. This should not otherwise affect our show cycles. 4. Everyone can judge matches if they want. I won't gurantee your picks will make the final decision for a match, but I will be reading all submissions that come my way and taking everyone's opinions into account. I'd like to do this by way of a simple form. This would also let me get feedback from anyone who wants to judge matches to give to RPers who are perhaps struggling with their characters or don't know how to improve or even to help some players continue doing what people like by telling them what that actually is. Unfortunately, judging matches alone isn't quite enough to earn you an extra RP entity, but I might try to figure out a reward system like we used to do for the match prediction threads back in the day. 5. I'll be revamping the bios at some point, and handling the leg-work in re-fitting them to what is easier to browse and access. No ETA for that yet, it's quite an undertaking and I'm a busy dude, but it's on my to-do list. There are a few other ideas I have that I haven't fully plotted out yet, but I think they'll be fun and I think you guys will really enjoy them. Anyhow, enough of my rambling. I think everyone did AMAZING this week. There were a lot of really hard matches to judge and some calls were made with long-term goals in mind, but if you're all patient I think you'll be happy with how things play out. I've noticed a few parties have been living on the pre-show for a while now and I aim to fix that starting with next week's card, which I'll post sometime tonight or early tomorrow. So you have that to look forward to as well. Here's to a great big beautiful tomorrow. Thots? |

I'll be posting my feedback for the show and everything else tomorrow when I can read through the show without tired eyes. Just a quick note, though, I had sent in a promo for the show to further the storyline in the BLS RP's but that promo is missing. It should have been just before the Eversol/Stanton match. If necessary, I can always post it in the NGIW.com exclusives section, either way works. |

Man, if you were looking for a way to keep me around, you found it :) I'll be honest - and some people I guess knew this - I wasn't the biggest fan of the super-duper-short three-line results. I'm glad to see them back to proper summaries (I don't mind summaries as long as they are like this) and was very pleased with this week's show and how my characters were written on it. If ever you need a match written/summarized, by all means shoot me a PM. My tray is so full that one match more or less won't make a difference. (PS Someone in the fed made some pretty valid points regarding my concerns, in private. To that person, my thanks. You know who you are :) ) With regards to the pre-show, mmmm...did a certain shoot promo by a certain someone have anything to do with that I wonder? (PS I LOVED how he was written this week, and not just because I won the title either!) Anyway, as I think I told you, that was the character speaking, not the handler. I also hope the 'anyone can judge matches' prerogative will see more people pay attention to the undercard, as I feel that is one of the main flaws of this fed. Lower-carders are people, guys :) And there's some really interesting stuff going on down below... Anyway, TL;DR excellent measures, Wighty, and I'm not going anywhere anymore :) Also, look out for some exciting stuff coming from my side of the room in upcoming weeks. |

I'm going to be brutally honest with you here, so I hope that doesn't offend you. You're a very lucky man that Wight decided the matches himself this cycle. Because if I had a say in the results, I would have fought VERY hard against Vycious because of that RP and the comments directly related to Bullet/SICK. I understand your character is playing a heel role, but I still found them incredibly uncalled for and down-right insulting. When the fed is trying to portray Bullet/SICK (not the pre-show, Bullet and SICK) as the first-half of its live program (which has been stated numerous times already) you don't openly refer to it a pre-show and insinuate that it's a disgrace to be a part of. I feel that was an insult to NGIW as a whole and not something I would have ever rewarded with a title. But I wasn't involved in the decision at all, so congratulations on your victory. I still think Vycious is a very entertaining character nonetheless. |

Fair enough...as I said, I wasn't shooting OOC but IC. He was just heeling up. I even PM'd Wighty in advance telling him not to worry about it when he saw it. I guess I should have warned you, too. That comment in no way reflects my stance on NGIW, as I'm not the kind of guy who demands to be on top. Not at ALL. For what it's worth, I genuinely expected Dream to win this one, as his promo was once again on point and excellent. This feud, as I told Hayden, is fun. Regardless of where it sits on the card. Once again, sorry if I offended anyone but everything was purely IC. I have never had any problems with my position in the card or the roster, and I think opening up two separate sections on each show to accommodate everyone is commendable. |

I actually really liked the shoot promo, and yeah, that was a lot of the reason for the Vycious victory. I already sent Hayden a PM about the whole situation I'm sure he understands where I was coming from on that decision and I'd rather not talk about it here if it's all the same to anyone else. I'd love for Bullet and SICK to not be labeled "pre-shows" but unfortunately perception is reality in cases like these. They have shorter results. There aren't NGIW/RCR/Tag title matches in them. I want to shake that up and make it less imbalanced, but we've been treating them more like a pre-show since we debuted them so it's hard to convince anybody that they're not... yet. Someone shooting on that doesn't bother me. It's about the same speed as someone shooting for jerking the curtain. Anyhow, to Pete and anyone else who wants to write; YOU need to seek ME out. I don't have time to wait on other people because I could not possibly memorize all your personal schedules and I have this thing where I like to do stuff at the last minute (it's awful, I know) so if you guys WANT to write something and WANT to take advantage of that extra character entity slot, you HAVE to let me know. I don't mind the show being brief results. That's how I used to run things before Nir showed up and it suits my needs just fine. Others prefer the longer results and I'm happy to facilitate that, but I don't have the time or inclination to do all the legwork for it when there's so much more that needs to be done around here. |

To be honest I think the perception can be changed with a bit of work. My comments and initial mistrust of these shows come from a previous bad experience with creating additional shows for the undercard - although to be honest, those were called HEAT and Velocity and therefore doomed from the start. Re: short results, THAT I was quite vocal about, but I'm fine with this week's length, especially for the less/not important matches. As I said above, if you need a match or even a summary, hit me up. @Hayden: My friend, I believe you should have won this. I don't want you to be angry or upset at me for anything I did IC. I am liking this feud a lot, and you may have your title back sooner than you think... Also Dream is an awesome character, and if Vych wasn't heeling up I believe they'd be friends. They worked well as a team :D @Wighty: so now we do what I proposed to you on that one PM, yes? Let me know if otherwise. |

Quick thots. More segments written by people would help out tremendously. I keep meaning to send in something, so this is a call out to me as well. But match after match just kinda seems meh when reading. I did a quick glance, but was our new GM mentioned by anyone? I'd think Wighty on commentary would say something, but I may have missed it. Oh Astro Blue, just hold me and tell me you'll never leave. Well, until I ask you to take of the mask. Hey Lucas... As for my match... really surprised I didn't get the win. Nothing against Pete, because he's been doing well, but it kinda sucks that I end up losing in the first defense. Thought the promo (the one not past the deadline, thanks to my computer acting up) was enough to get the job done. Wighty gave me his reasoning, and I can see where he's coming from. Just a little disappointing to lose. I need more Red Pirates. And hide's plan to kill the humans. So yeah. Them's my thots. |

Oh Hayden. I love you and your thoughts. :) EDIT: I guess that was a little ambiguous. I love that you tell me how much you're enjoying (or missing) my characters. It makes it worth writing when you know people are paying attention to what you're doing. Which, by the way, I'd like to see more of Seto and do more interacting with the character. As for the Dream... love the guy. He's hilarious to read. Not sure if I have characters that would interact well with him, though. He's a bit unpredictable and I've already got hide in my life for that. Haha. |

For those that missed it: hide Kitazawa: Emissary of the Lizard People. <3 Shame Johnny Duke couldn't get his RP in before the line. Also, poor Ahim. I always preferred Luka, anyway. She had a sharper dress sense. In other match news, I do love references to hide's shoddy high-flying. I do dig this dynamic the Odd Couple have going. It's certainly sweeter than say, the BLS. Finally, I only spotted the second change Wight made to the angle I sent him just now, but now I know: I need Spider Rolls in my life. I don't know what they are, or how I would make them, but I need them. EDIT: It's a real thing. Needs more human meat to be Kitazawa-style Spider Roll, but that could work. |

Like I said, I upped my game because you've been doing amazing and deservedly beating me. Still expected you to win though, as I tend to ramble on with my promos and you're more to the point. |
